Dude, I just stumbled upon your video, I've made a few cribbage boards and always struggled getting the card storage to be square and look good. I've tried routing it out, I've tried to hog it out with forstner bits and then chisel, but your method is waaaaaay better and looks way cleaner! Keep it up!
