- I was on the hunt for a budget wide angle lens to pair with my cheaper Sony mirrorless camera systems, and I came across this Viltrox 20mm f/2.8 lens which only costs $158 (at the time of recording this video... USD). I am honestly blown away with the performance of this lens for the price. This lens could easily be someone's main lens they start a RUclips channel with, shoot their first mini documentary or corporate interview, etc. This lens is a MUST have for beginners and pros alike.

I bought it from amazon three days back. I like it for indoor use and for casual walk around trips. it is of the same size of the kit.
it has no switches, it's simple and works as I expected. I live in Germany and after winter the environment will be colorful, and I travel a lot on short trips and it will be useful, I think, I pair it with my A7C.
Have you had a chance to compare this lens with the Sigma 19 f2.8?

Viltrox 35mm f/1.8 FE. But since you’re on the ZV-E10 it’ll act more like a 50mm would. I assume you know that but just want to reiterate in case you’re wanting a wider depth of field.

I like it, but in 2024 it’s usually a bit overpriced. I prefer the NEX 6 because of the price point. Usually the NEX 7 is around the same price as the A6000 and I would take an A6000 personally.
