Thank you so much for sharing these films. I sit here in my chair at 4 AM with my coffee bevor the fire place and enjoy these films. Thank you so so much
I don't see those on the roads anymore like I use to back in those days, same with the crew cab pickups & Suburbans both with that same body style, but the regular cab pickups with that same body style on the other hand I still see out on the roads today.
The owner of the local Chevrolet dealership in my small town that I grew up in, drove whatever used car he grabbed off of the lot. His son however, got a new Blazer every year. His daughter received a new Camaro every year and his wife always drove a new Caprice Classic....
Almost everything on that colorful demonstration chassis was painted black on the real thing (or bare aluminum for the transmission casing) except the engine which really was that blue (GM Corporate blue, used on engines from 1977 to sometime in the early 80s when those too switched to black) and the road wheels which actually were white as seen on some of the completed Blazers in this film.
In pre revulotion iran between dodge ramcharger ford bronco and chevy blazer we only had blazers and other gm products why you ask ? cuz iran was the only country back then to have a gm factory every american car fan and lovers in iran call blazer the king of offroad bcuz it is and their still on the road both stock and rebuilded with original parts and we have a 78 model

:45 shows dual exhaust system, which you could not get in '79, due to Catalytic converter. IIRC, '78 was last year for dual exhaust.
