I have a 1976 all original Chevy Vega that just turned 30,000 miles that I bought three years ago. It does not smoke and the engine runs excellent and it’s got a large radiator. But it still has two little holes of rust in the front passenger fender. It also has a nice five speed.

That settles it, I'm sold. I'm going to order one the 454 and a 4 speed, no A/C and the removall roof panels. Maybe I'll get lucky and my Chevy dealer still has a few left over 74s.

That car was junk, my grandfather had a wagon, which he then gave to my father. His mechanic suggested he unload it as soon as possible. My auto shop teacher's father was a GM engineer and bought a 72 model, my teacher bought a Vette.

In a way, the Nova was almost like a secret pony car. Maybe it didn't have the "cool" image that the Camaro had, but it still had pretty fastback styling in its coupe form and could be optioned out into a genuine muscle car. I like it more than the Chevelle, personally.

March 14th 2024, and I just bought a 74 Suburban K20 4x4! However, there was one thing about the truck I have never seen on a 67 through 95 Chevy truck before. I have an all working, factory dealer installed winch right under the front bumper. The winch is a Hinkley sidewinder and is in perfect condition!

The V8 was not available in the wagon, the model that would in theory have the heaviest load.

I very rarely use the word "awesome" but these were absolutely awesome when they came out. I had a GS 750EC twin disks and cast wheels in black....first one in the UK...man but was I top dog back then.
