4.3.2023 First day I've ever hit this line I've heard about and been eyeing for years... First try I didn't angle the GoPro properly so I had to go back for a 2nd try.

Can't believe it's still in skiable condition after the storms that rolled through! I was at the resort proper for the first time last Wednesday - I definitely gotta back and hit this when snow is better! How was the hike up?
The hike is maybe 10 minutes, to get to it you need to go down Paradise, and right at the bend where it gets steep there is a section of the Long Trail. You need to take your skis off but it’s not super bad. If you hike long enough, you get to the top of Castlerock.
Understood. It is what it is. Not my first rodeo. For me the most thing is to know your limitations and to ski within them. What's your advice for advanced/experts who ski alone? Not to hit stuff like this, period? You know as well as I do - the general advice is not to ski glades alone. Does that mean people don't get to ski glades solo? Try enforcing that. Skiing is a fundamentally risky activity - and not everyone has a trusted buddy of similar ability level who's available at a moment's notice.

@@newpylong understood, but you do you. Others would also say "never ski woods alone" and resorts say "never skin up alone". YMMV - not all of us have a capable buddy ready to go at a moment's notice.

I would hesitate to do that with full winter conditions, you are brave to do it in the spring!
