We ski what we have and trust me we all wish we could ski the steep and deep of J H , Alta- Bird, or KH but its what we have. Don't believe it never snow, Jay has over 300 inches and yes if you can ski tight trees in the east you can handle all but long cliff jumps in the west like a Sunday drive. When I ski out west it makes me think I am better then I really am then I come back home. Yes the west is the best but we live on the east coast take care
The lower part has some fun spots, but the single track slow stuff through the really tight trees doesn't look like fun. I will say, when I ski out West with people from the East, they're almost always great skiers. It must be the snow conditions and the tight trails in the East that breeds great skiers. I live next to Lake Tahoe and the tree skiing is beautiful. There is also nothing like skiing wide open bowls and ridges.
@@jonedmondo8806 Lake Tahoe is a beautiful area and they have some great skiing. I have had some great times out there. I am not sure if its from skiing tight trees for so long but even when I go out west I chase tight trees and chutes. You have great terrain. Take care.
There is a lot of great tree skiing in the east. I ski great trees all the time. This video is of super steep tight glades not the norm. Jay Peak, Stowe, Mad River, The Bush and Killington have great tree runs. Jay gets over 350 inches of snow on average. If you can ski the east you can rip the west.

Intense! Really great skiing, awesome use of control. Looks steeper and more challenging than the Slides at Whiteface, a really tough line.
Great video and some really nice turns, thanks so much for sharing, love the Bush
Love this video!! :)
@gm99mar totally right. whenever i go through there, not always so nice. makes it 10x harder and more dangerous. that snow was gorgeous

Tree skiing in New England sucks. Single track. One turn at a time. How is that fun?
