There is literally no reason he had to do that. It wasn't because of publicity as he didn't make a post about it until she did so far as I know.
It’s kind of like a schizophrenic person imagining he’s friends with a murderer and then warning everyone to bow down to the murderer or they will be killed.
He does seem to laugh at himself and as an Aussie I have to respect that at least a little.

Not really. One can forgive people for the first offense, everything after that might be abusive. Do you want to make the argument that your definition of love is similar to abuse?
@@Z4r4sz I disagree. If you only forgave someone once, then you’d be out of friends in a week :) if they only forgave you once, you’d be very lonely. Physical abuse is different. Mental and emotional abuse is largely created by the way we react or process the person’s intent
@@rocketsurgeon1746 We werent talking about friends. And even if we did, sometimes people screw up. I know why the people I consider friends do it. But at some point its not worth it to stay friends. Its worse with strangers when they screw up from the first moment. And its much worse when its in a romantic relationship. Abuse thats done and abuse that we explain away isnt healthy for victims.
But a god that demands to be loved and would otherwise torture you isnt loving. Its by definition abuse. Humans dont need a particular god to experience actual love, compassion, kindness or have fruitful relationships. Every non-christian/theist who has a happy relationship is evidence for it.
But happy relationships arent evidence for a god either.
@@Z4r4sz I disagree. God calls us to love and forgive people unconditionally. “Friends” is not a term the Bible attaches to this idea. Healthy for victims? Examples are needed to see where we agree. If you are in a romantic relationship with no commitment, aka marriage, then you are playing with fire. God doesn’t demand love or give punishment. God gives us a choice to love Him or not. If we choose not too, then we choose to live absent from Him which is defined as hell. There is a big difference. Give someone two paths and let them decide.

The bible says numerious times that you are expected to love him. Hell, even jesus says that you MUST love only him, more than your own family. And then there is the concept of hell. If there were no punishment, then hell wouldnt exist. Well, it doesnt but the threat of punishment is still there.

Thats not what the bible says. The bible describes a place of torture and suffering, not suffering like depression or something like that.

This is the person out of all your people and friends that would be there for you no matter what. Hes not in it to be right hes doing it cause he cares. What a wonderful thing to know there are men like this in the world. Im a big guy but the universe and world is a scary place and things will come to us in live that will show us how vulnerable we are. When you have been humbled like me and shown the darkness you thank God for the love and light and especially his justice and love and righteousness.

@@Z4r4sz simple, WE’RE human. God is not. And life is not about ONE scripture or word. But yes, the answers are ALL in the Bible. You just have to also be in a relationship with God to guide you with those answers.
Like the famous prophet said, “You gotta know when to hold them. Know when to fold them. Know when to walk away, know when to run”.
The same circumstances don’t always call for the same response.

@@iloveandworshipjesus6531 very simply, a Christian is someone who knows for a fact that God is real and that he ripped out his heart and stuck it on the cross so that he would be the one to pay for our sins. He paid for our debts so that we could have a relationship with him. The meaning of life is for humanity to come back in a relationship with Almighty father God. Sin separates us from God because of our shame. Because he created us with his laws written on our hearts. We feel bad when we steal when we hurt someone or lie. We feel bad when we do bad things because there is good and there is bad. They're easily defined. When we do something wrong you can feel the relationship with God getting distant. Nothing evil can stand in the presence of almighty God so in order for us when we die to be in his presence someone has to remove that sin burden from us. If you take your last breath without having someone take your sins from you, you will carry them with you into the grave. There are two places you can go when you die. Towards God and away from God. Because sin kills. Just one little lie that is not covered by the blood of Jesus Christ will cause you to not be able to stand in his awesome presence on the day of judgement that must come. After all God is just and merciful. He has to punish those who have done evil otherwise he would not be just and he would not be God. He made a way that way is narrow. Few there be that find it. It's like Catholics... They think they're Christians but they're not. Catholics believe that they should worship Mary and the saints. That is blasphemy. Catholics believe they should worship the Pope who calls himself the heavenly father. Again this is blasphemy. Generally the things of the world are evil. Satan is the God of this world. Christians always have been persecuted. That's how you know they're right. Because Satan hates us.

Is Ray allowed to talk and explain himself? He keeps getting cut off.
I was an atheist until 17 when he stopped me from committing suicide. I sat with a gun in my hand ready to take my life trying to commit to ending my life and kept pointing the gun at myself and stopping and crying and as I sat there crying I heard the words “pray” internally but not me it was so clear and grabbed my attention so much & I never thought to pray before because I genuinely did not believe God existed. I just got on my knees and asked him for a sign if he is real. A day or so later I went to a high times festival and I ended up having to sleep outside at the festival & woke up with bug bites on both sides of my wrists perfectly semetrical& both sides of the centers of meet on both sides. It looked like I had nail scars from the crucifixion. & even after this I still didn’t believe & honesty ignored this strange situation. A week later my mom sent me to visit my grandma in San Jose & I took a grey hound bus there and back. Oddly the boy I had a crush on all year who’s family was Christian had the same bus ticket there and back. So we talked the whole way there I found out his family was Christian didn’t think anything of it and as I visited my grandma I I went to a bible study for the first time at her retirement home. On the way home I asked the boy if I could go to church with his family. Mainly because I really liked him, he literally gave me slippers & a pea coat within the first day of knowing him because I had nothing. He had so much love & so did his whole family. as I got to know his family they were SO different & had this peace, & love id never seen. Anyways long story short I think after the second time of going to church I knew I needed help. Mainly because I was very broken. I had taken like 26 hits of acid a few months before & felt like I’d never be okay. I had so many issues mentally after that. So I Finally was humble enough to say, “I need help, if there is a God” and when I finally prayed that prayer and asked God into my life & asked him to forgive me for all of my mistakes I felt the most insane experience. I felt like 1,000 lbs had been lifted off of my back and as I prayed I was shaking and tears where streaming down my face. I was a completely different person ever since that day. And ALL the flashbacks and issues from the acid I took never came back again....
God is very real, very very good & worth us searching out & asking to reveal himself to us 💞

How do you get something from nothing it’s impossible. But christians pretend to have a better explainations... without any expertise in any scientific field or any evidence. Even if some random nobody christian could demonstrate that everything about the big bang is wrong, that still doesnt prove that any god exists, that any god can create a universe or that your god created the universe. Then the official scientific position will be "we dont know". Yours on the other hand will be "I know because I believe in a book written by people who didnt know where the sun went at night!".
When you won your nobel prize, then tell us again how the universe started. Until then your opinion is useless. Like your religion.

Only 4 mins in and I am full of praise for you Jaclyn. You're so decent, polite and respectful. This is exactly how mature adults should behave. Also, you're a reallly good interviewer, engaging him, forming a rapport at first and helping him feel comfortable before getting down to the nitty gritty. Feeling proud to be a subscriber :D

Her comment was non biased and wasn't directed in any way towards anyone negatively yet you automatically Take sides, jump to the conclusion that her comment was somehow was filled with hateful intent then you reply to Her? Judge Her? IM CHRISTIAN and it's people like you that give us a bad name. @Piper LT God so LOVED the world that He gave his only begotten son. It is a past tense but not saying that God no longer loves us , it's saying He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for us because he loves us. God loves everyone that's why he wants us to be in Heaven with Him. If he didn't love or care about sinners then why would he have bothered with becoming a man , suffering , and dying on the cross for us? He did it because He loves us and wants all His children to come back to Him.

We don’t have the same views but I’d like to say bravo to you for being very polite and conducting the conversation with grace and manners. That’s awesome. This is where you lost me. It's very kind to send love and all but praying that Jesus fills someone's heart is just kinda rude. She makes it obvious that she doesn't believe in god and has no desire to. You should respect that and just accept that she will not be changing that. It's disrespectful cause it's like you're ignoring their views completely in hopes that you can change them as a person if you pray enough. I understand that in your religion it's a sweet way of saying "I hope you come to my religion". Nobody from any other religion seems to do stuff like this except for Christians.
Sorry Not Sorry Forgive me if this message or my last sounds rude. A lot of communication gets lost when people are not able to see one another. Knowing that, I don’t wish to get in a debate with anyone on here because things can get very lost in translation. All I can say is that as a Christian, I’m called to love everyone and part of that is hoping the very best for people. I’m not saying “I hope you come to my religion” as much as I’m saying “I care about you and your future.” That goes for you as well. I sincerely hope this message finds you well.

Yeah. If someone says they are an atheist just wish them well. That's all. Don't say I'll pray for you or anything near that. Its extremely condescending and annoying.
Think about it like this.. I know for most people it will vary.. For me.. I go to work all day where the majority of the people are Christian. They just assume I am one too. So I just smile and nod when god comes up. If I tell them I'm an atheist then it will cause problems.. If I am not outcasted then it will be a endless barrage of questions like - Have you tried to find Jesus? What went wrong in your life? etc. So I just keep my mouth shut when they gossip..
Then I pass a bunch of churches on the way home with messages about repent or go to hell.. Stop on the way home to run errands, pick up dinner, etc.. And some cashiers say things like have a blessed day. I smile again and walk out. Then on Saturday.. The day I know I won't have to be subjected to it.. Some asshole is at my front door trying to hand me pamphlets about their church. I mean cmon.
I know you mean well but just accept that not everyone thinks like you. We are happy for you to have your religion.. Just keep it to yourselves.. Please. lol

I can't speak for everyone but I know that most of the atheists I know, and I personally take offense to somebody saying they'll pray for them. It seemed more like you didn't mean to offend, just a word of advice for future conversations.

I have been binge watching Ray Comfort videos and Movies- he is so genuine- just now watching this one. Your shirt is adorable .
Please also search for other opinions. I would recommend Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins. They make solid arguments based on facts and evidence, not superstition or faith.
Ray Comfort is the most disingenuous bullshit -filled moralising hippocrite you'll ever find on RUclips.

I know this is 9 months late but I also recommend to watch multiple people but InspiringPhilosophy and Dr. William Craig are both amazing Christian philosophers and Frank Turek is a good Christian apologist for newer philosophers.

Just a little piece of advice, you should probably let the person you are interviewing talk and not cut them off every 5 seconds because you don't like (or believe) what they are saying.
Maybe if he didn't do that to others it wouldn't happen to him :)

Ray openly advocated for being able to interject during a conversation when he mentioned how unpleasant it was to participate in a debate where his opponent did not allow him to interrupt.
its was definitely not a nice interview where the only one you hear is the interviewer talking and not letting atleast who she was interviewing finish a sentence to answer her questions. she was all over her interview and I hope she learns the proper way of how to interview people with respect, atleast let them say their case or to the least talk to answer a question she has given. because at the end all i could recall was her asking and her answering herself or asking yet another question before the answer was given and worse make an assumption or conclusions before the answer was fully given to her.

Lloyd Holiday uncalled for. I am an atheist, but I find it extremely counterproductive to attack Christians and those that believe with such hostility. This is why I love jaclyn. She treats others with respect even if she disagrees. This is how everyone should live their lives. My best friend in the world is a very devoted Christian and although I am an atheist we still have an amazing friendship. That’s what life is about, having differences and being able to still get along and see the similarities we all share as human beings. It really hurts me to see people call others names just because they may not agree.

Amen! 🙏🏼✝️ Before finding Christ, I used to mock Christians and laugh at their (what I thought) were meaningless prayers. Long story short, I had two OBE experiences (experiencing Hell) that were so deep, it brought by me to Him. Yes, I deserved going there and only lived for myself and denied Him because I was cozy with my sinful, hedonistic lifestyle. Keep in mind, I’m not saying Atheists are living my former lifestyle by any means. In fact many of my Atheist friends are the kindest, loving people who seek justice for those whose voices are diminished (like Jesus did).
For context, I’ve been an academic most of my life (Ph.D. candidate) and still love everything STEM and believe that God our Creator gave us the wisdom and intelligence to develop and advance civilization. That didn’t come from just nowhere, a creation must have a Creator. Sir Isaac Newton (one of my heroes) was a devout Christian and applied calculus and his mathematical gift to break down the Bible thus proving it as the Truth. Newton said this:
“Can it be by accident that all birds, beasts, and men have their right side and left side alike shaped, (except in their bowels); and just two eyes, and no more, on either side of the face; and just two ears on either side of the head; and a nose with two holes; and either two forelegs, or two wings, or two arms on the shoulders, and two legs on the hips, and no more? Whence arises this uniformity in all their outward shapes but from the counsel and contrivance of an Author?”
That statement by Newton above sealed the deal for me after my many questions about Christianity and the existence of God. Today, I’m now a devout Christian and peace and happiness have overcome me. For me, it’s not a “religion” rather a relationship with Jesus. I don’t attend Church because many places of worship have been perverted (e.g., prosperity gospel bs or hate speech) nor do I think it’s right for me to insert my faith in politics. Jesus loves everyone. Period. And I know some Atheists might read this and roll their eyes, but just know, I love you and Jesus loves you, too! God bless all of you! 🙏🏼✝️💝

When I was in middle school, I started watching a few of Jaclyn’s videos and despite my background of being a Christian, these videos lead me down a path of being atheist as well. I became depressed letting that part of me go and I ended up even self harming. I was really broken. I then, got into self healing which involved meditation, and lead to the whole new age movement. I was open to spirituality again but not in a way that was walking with Jesus. This also seemed fine on the outside, I was actually doing magic and was manifesting materialistic things quickly with little to no work. I though I had it all figured out and that this was IT. Except there was just something missing. I wasn’t whole. I wasn’t satisfied with this lifestyle. I found myself wondering why I wasn’t happy even with all the self work I was doing. Jesus started to reveal himself to me in very personal ways until I couldn’t deny him anymore. My soul was longing for him the whole time. I repented from all the evil I had partaken in, and I cake to him because there is room at the cross for everyone. I have a great faith that was weak before which is why I think I ended up not believing anymore. However, God always things to happen for his glory, and I hope that someone can read this and it will plant a seed for them that Jesus loves them. Eternity is forever. Heaven is real, and so is hell.

I was an atheist for most of my life. I didn't accept Christ until I was 27, and wasn't baptized until I was 29. Accepting Christ isn't a belief problem, it's a heart problem. As an atheist I hated God. Even when He came for me, I wanted nothing to do with Him. I see now that it was because I didn't know Him. When I read the Bible, I understand who He is. He is love. He is nothing like what I thought He was in my unconverted state.

Ray never said that in the bible God puts these silly or bad stories to fool or trick his people. Ray was explaining the importance of these stories and how they display the knowledge of the humble which is where their critical thinking stems from and then the ones with pride in their critical thinking. Gods purpose is not to dumb down his followers but put trust into them.

As a former athiest/agnostic, I can debunk her questions because I used to think the same way.
God didn't mind showing me he was real - even in a hard liberal, "logical" mind like me. What Ray is saying it's heart posture. He won't show people who are convinced in their ways for multiple reasons, but also because people didn't even believe when Jesus was performing miracles. Also, God doesn't owe is proof - especially in our Athiest mindset. He already sent his Son to die for us and His Son did show proof. There is a reason to everything. We can't rely on our own understanding, and God knows the real you. Your true intentions. Your past. The why, how, and who. We can't fool Him.

Well, if you are truly christian or truly converted then you will never go back, that doesn't mean you will not have doubt or question in certain things, but once you become a true christian, that means, that you've turned from your sins (repent) and put your trust in the payment of Christ, you will become a new creation, with new desires and a new heart. I literally was asking her to be quiet on the screen like 50 times, she offered loaded questions, was sarcastic and mocking throughout the interview and was all around frustrating to converse with. Being an atheist is not believing in a God. That’s all it is. It doesn’t mean you believe in evolution, the Big Bang or something from nothing. The only reason there’s even a word for it is because believing in Gods has been such a big part of humans history. An atheists individual beliefs on anything has nothing to do with being an atheist or what any other atheists beliefs. She doesn’t need to know anything about the creation of matter from nothing.

The reality is this girl, regardless of her beliefs, handled her interview like a child handles arguments with their parents. It was simply unprofessional. I can state this independent of whether or not I like her as a person...
Also, atheism doesn't simply mean you "don't believe in a God" which is a passive stance, but it means you actively believe there is no God. What you are describing is agnosticism, you dont believe in any god and dont know how the world was created. A true atheist would say all religions and notions of supernatural power are false, agnosticism would say i dont believe in any known god because I don't know what is true. Its a subtle difference from what you are saying but there is a difference and its important. A passive vs active posture. She took a very passive stance, not indicative of true atheism, but rather an agnostic who doesn't think God(s) exist.
Theism believes there is one God.
Pantheism believes everything is god.
Polytheism believes in multiple gods.
Atheism BELIEVES there are no gods.
Agnosticism is the absence of choosing (no beliefs needed)
Agnosticism is the only non-theistic worldview which states you do not know. To say you do not believe in any God doesn't make you an atheist, it just makes you not a theist/pantheist/or polytheist. Both agnostics and atheists affirm they do not beleive in any god. to go one step further and believe there are no gods/supernatural forces makes you A-theistic. The reason this is important is she displayed an alarming level of agnosticism (saying she didn't know) which inherently any worldview, even atheism, must by order of necessity, fill in any gaps in their knowledge with belief. The only worldview not subject to this requirement is agnosticism which is predicated on not knowing. In other words you can't be an atheist and be afraid of belief because the two are intertwined, an atheist must believe in a potential scientific explanation for everything they cannot yet explain or prove without God (ie: the creation of matter) you can't have your cake and eat it to. Either you are an agnostic and open to the idea of a god but simply dont know, or you actively believe in a scientific explanation (belief).... she broke the rules by claiming to be an atheist without beliefs..
Judge by the fruits. Read the comments on Living Waters video and read the comments here. It's like night and day. On Ray Comfort's Living Water most people prayed for Jaclyn and many encouraging words. Now here on this channel who are mostly anti-Christian make comments about Jaclyn's body parts, expletives, and flat out disgusting things I would never think or say to any woman.

How incredibly kind, patience, humble, and compassionate Ray demonstrated his faith to be. She is witness of it and is drawn to it. He gave her the key which is humility that overcomes our prideful hearts. Satan's pride is what cast him out of heaven. We know Satan to be the serpent as revealed in Revelation 12:9. Proverbs 25:2 "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter."
Umm excuse me, what are you rambling about? How do we know for sure Satan is the bad one? What if god just wrote it in to deceive us all? What If maybe Satan just didn't agree with the tyrant rule of god and was just fighting for what Satan felt was the right thing to do?
If I were a god or just look to the past with kings, rulers, dictators etc, they always persecuted and casted out any that opposed or wouldn't submit to their ideologies. They were always made out to look like the bad evil ones as well.. just think about it critically and logically, if I was in this heavenly, perfect place, why the heck would I want to rebel against the one deity I know I can't defeat? Why would I even want to leave this perfect heaven? Doesn't make any sense at all!

If God is completely good and loving, he wouldn’t send people into eternal damnation for not believing, that would be evil and wrong on so many levels. How do you know this is the truth? Jaclyn, first I applaud you for being courteous/cordial in your interview with Ray. I could sense your sincerity.
I do feel you missed Ray's point, and I respectfully fault him because he didn't think to bring up a very important Scripture as to why many of the stories of the Bible seem similar to Disney stories and why there is such a strong resistance to Intelligent Design and all that the Bible speaks of. I call it the "The Spiritually Intellectual Dilemma.'
1 Corinthians 2:14 "The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit."
That was Ray's point. No Spirit in ya, no ability to discern the Scriptures. Impossible. Its Foolishness prevails.
Without the Spirit of God, which is obtained by doing what Ray kept imploring you to do, i.e. 'laying down your intellectual pride, and coming humbly to the Lord by repentance, etc.' you cannot possibly discern that the stories or the Bible Messages are actually true, instead without the spirit, you will keep seeing them as foolish, because you are dead to them from the 'Spirit' aspect of it...the Spirit of Christ.
Ephesians 2:1 "Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins."
Once you accept Christ, you become 'Alive' to the Word of God or sensitive to it from the aspect of 'learning' through continued use of the intellect/questions as you (2nd Peter 3:18 "...grow in the grace and knowledge of the Savior.")
It's like being on the operating table dead, and having your heart pumped back to life. When the Spirit of Christ comes in to your life, you literally 'wake' up to the Scriptures and their seemingly foolishness begins to subside.
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
But until Pride is laid down, and one comes with a sincere heart to Christ, all their brain power in of itself will not be enough. Faith + Intellectual thinking/reasoning is needed. Jeremiah 29.13 "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God....not by a banana

@@slyjokerg Not all realities can be checked through scientific methods. You can NOT live your entire life through science. How do you say to a woman you love? "My dear, I scientifically love you from my bottom of my brain!" or you will say "My dear I love you from my bottom of my heart or soul!" The first option is very cold, robotic, unreal. The second version is more humanly, more profound, more alive, more sincere, is more real.
There is more than a material world and there is more to experience in this life, not just science-based evidence. There are many inexplicable things in our life that are happening, which science can not explain them.

@Justin Bagley He did say that he intended as "tongue in cheek" throughout this video. I don't see how the soda can altered the point that he was trying to make with the banana. I also remember watching videos produced by him that defended that banana argument.

He believes the banana analogy but rather than giving it a traditional way, he chose to give it satire by putting it in the form of a parody of a similar video illustrating a similar line of reasoning. Its both his belief and comically relieving.
