TI is a pretty good place. The rooms and pool are decent. I would love to see the pirate battle return. When they dropped that it stripped away some of the character.
It cost a few million to run the free attraction but it was a lot of fun to watch especially if you were dining upstairs in the restaurant with a window seat and could watch the entire show.

We booked a Run of House room and were magically upgraded to a room on the 34th floor. Don't forget the complimentary champagne bottle for birthdays/celebrations!
Hi Ruby! It has been Several years since I stayed there last. So glad TI is upgrading the rooms. Much needed. When the CVS was built, it literally cut off the tracks under the water for the boat show. Look during the day time and you will see the clean cut off of the tracks; so there will Never be another Pirates Boat show! A good short cut to the Mirage is the Tram/Train you get to after walking by the food area and up the escalator. Thank you for the video! CAB😊
I recently made reservations for 5 nights at TI in June after receiving an offer from them for $60 a night, Sunday to Friday morning. Total cost including taxes is $320.00. No room service, no pool, and no wifi. But that is fine by me. I don't need any of that for 5 nights, and TI is a great location on the Strip.
I'm heading there in a month and was curious of your comment. You didn't receive room service, pool, or wifi amenities because of the special offer they gave you? If so was there an option to take part in said amenities for a fee?
@@nickmichaelstv2174 I don't know for sure as I had no need for them. Hello Ruby. We stayed there many years ago and it was great. You did mention you could opt out of resort fees and said you would mention more about it at the end. It was forgotten
Thanks for reviewing TI. We have stayed there many times and we were interested in what you would think of it. We are older middle age and love TI. Great review!
My 70 year old Aunt treated me to a week in Vegas, my first and only time, and we stayed at TI. We loved it, and they gave us a room facing the strip, way, way up high (don't remember which floor). When they heard it was was first visit, they sent a bottle of champagne to our room! I honestly can't wait to go back, there are so many places I'd like to stay. Your videos are simply the best too!!
Exactly and the Siren show being reduced to a CVS and Mexican resturant is pathetic. Maybe because I've actually lived in Vegas and been a tourist both.....this is NOT a good hotel
Stayed there many times. Love the room fridge and 24x7 CVS off the casino so don't even need to exit the building to get snacks/groceries. The Coffee Shop you ate at used to be a 24x7 restaurant, sad so much of Vegas is no longer 24x7.
I stayed here in 2018 or 2019, back when they still had a buffet. Didn’t have a renovated room but it was very similar to a basic room at Mirage. The bed was super comfy, they gave us a free bottle of champagne for our first time there, but we did pay $40 for early checkin. Definitely a party hotel you can hear people in other rooms screaming.
It was a sad day for me when they made the switch from “treasure island” to “TI” and got rid of that awesome hotel sign with the giant pirate skull. This is a great video of the hotel tho. I’m glad it’s still a nice place to stay.
I’m glad you had a good experience at TI. I never hear about ppl staying there or reviews so I’m happy a lot of ppl in the comments are also saying that had a great stay too. I’ll keep them in mind.
The CVS can be a great cost cutting tool as well, love that being there and while more expensive than "normal" CVS stores, it's a deal on the strip for sandwiches, wine etc., :) Thank you for the video! :)
Ruby I’m staying at the Aria right night now and the lady at the Lobby bar is playing . You are so right she is the best I have ever seen play at a bar in Vegas 💯!!!
I stayed at Treasure Island during my first ever visit to Las Vegas back in 2008. I loved the hotel, a very comfortable bed and beautiful decor. I ordered room service one night and the food was generous and delicious. I've since stayed at several different hotels and TI remains one of my favorites. I will likely stay there again and even now after all the parking fees hit The Strip, TI still offers free parking.
Great video, Ruby! Yeah, they got rid of the pirate show. In my opinion, it was a big mistake, because, you would have people coming here to see the pirate show, and then go inside the casino and gamble. Now, there are commercials all over television. They didn't do that before, or if they did, I never saw them.
CVS takes up the space where the pirate ship was docked. Loved that show. Been staying at TI because the room rates are good, free parking and a mini fridge. Also close to the Fashion Show Mall and bridge to the Venetian and not too far to walk to the Miracle Mile shops. No high end dining and not a lot of food offerings. Buffet was replaced by a sports book. Then again, TI was never known for its dining options.
I’m finishing an Easter weekend here now. Really enjoyed the pool and lunch at Senior Frogs. Enjoyed a great dinner at The Seafood Shack and Phil’s Steakhouse. The menus are limited, but the food is great. Pounded Fat Tuesdays across the street at Venetian.
Thanks for showing the TI. I was lucky to get to stay at the TI. last November. When I do come back to Las Vegas. The TI. will be on my list of places to stay.
Recently had a room with the the exact same view to the strip at TI, on 24th floor. At night is was amazing. Ask for a view or say it’s an anniversary or something at check in. Worth a try. Be nice… they might give you that room. Our fridge was not in closet but next to the TV dresser, they’ve done a nice job remodeling service was great and it was very good for the price . And there’s a Tram connecting directly to Mirage just next door. [Where we went to eat breakfast]. Gilly’s food down at the front-lagoon was super. The Bar was too loud for us, but food are is separate and very good. You can people watch to the sidewalk. Overall TI a good location and good deal.

Stayed at TI last year for my 1st ever Vegas trip. The room was clean and up to date. Extremely clean bathroom, no water damage or anything. Pool was a main destination for me and was very well maintained. Food was a little limited( and no, I did not order room service), but the bartenders really knew their drinks and gave me a pretty good bang for my buck. The only overpriced thing was the pool tiki bar. Every member of the there was extremely polite and kind. The tram to Mirage was down, but I was hoping to walk up and down the strip. I know TI has had detractors, but I can recommend it if you're looking to get inexpensive rates and great access to the rest of the strip. Love the vid. Quick Review on Señor Frogs at night open bar is not worth it! Only Bud Light and watered down well drinks are part of the "open bar". It's not a true open bar. Drinks are horrible.
I stumbled in here in December to check out the casino....it was jammed! With cowboys. It was the world rodeo championship week. Lots of "yee-hahs" and people watching 10/10
Sirens was fun. I went to Vegas for the first time in 2013 and saw one of the last shows. A guy from the hotel (so, not a official source) told me that it was supposed to be temporary but they liked the way the hotel got a new "entrance" trough the water and there was some criticisim surrouding the whole thing. The space for the crowd was narrow, the sound was not very good. I do believe it was temporary, but it was just not worth the effort.
CVS is attached which is a huge plus! You can pick up snacks and drinks cheap as well as essentials. The buffet was good, not sure it reopened since COVID. Fashion show mall next door for tons of shopping and cheap eats.
I remember walking by here this past April and seeing the pirate ship just stationary, like it was quite literally parked on the side. (At least it lights up at night.) I’d never been to Vegas before so I didn’t know what the deal was with it. I’m a little saddened that this is another attraction that’s gone dark that I’ll never get to see in person.
RUBY!! You won my heart when you rode the bull!! You go girl!! 🙌🏻💜 Love Gilley’s as it’s based off of the movie Urban Cowboy (my fav). BEST thing about TI is Free parking!! With other properties raising their rates $35 for 24 hours, it’s a steal!
It is based off the actual Gilley's in Pasadena, Texas (it burned down in 1990) "The largest honky tonk in the world." The bar was a legend even before the movie.
I like the other side if the Strip personally. It’d be cool if you could do a video on what you spend at each casino or for the entire trip. It seemed y’all were there for quite a long time. Would you ever do a Q&A?
You have to tell the front desk at check in that you want the resort fees waived because there's this loophole that the hotel can't add it to your hotel bill like city and hotel occupancy taxes. Resort fees aren't taxes and the fee includes usage for the gym, internet etc. which will be added at check out if you don't mention the resort fee waiver during check in. Since you didn't ask for a waiver of resort fees the hotel assumes you wanted these additional services. Resort fees can add up to $40 a day to your overall stay. Since I always stay 5 days that's an extra $200.
I like my stay at TI but the lobby area smelled like mold or laundry left in the washer for 3days check in was long but overall it was nice we stayed Sunday-Thursday
the four Queens is great and there is no resort fee we have seen the pirate show twice when it was there and it we enjoyed it but we never stayed there
When Steve Wynn was thinking of building another building, it was debated if he should do another Mirage tower and expand the property. Instead he decided to build treasure Island based off the pirate stories he read as a kid. Looking at the property now, he would never believe how unique and beautiful it was when it first opened in 93. Las Vegas was really going for the family market and this hotel is proof of it. Once Wynn sold all his properties the Treasure Island was never the same and each passing year it seem to get a little dirtier and a cheaper feel to it.
Car Guy I so Agree with you it was magical , my boys where about 7 and 8 years old back in the day , they loved it too it had a magic feel too it and just had that certain something Steve Wynn manages too inject into his property’s .
@@CurlyQ227_ for me the overall property was just feeling really worn down. I’ve stayed 10 times over 15 years, but this was my final time (unless the room is 100% comped)

Omg i was just there watching the Cirque du Soleil show at 7pm lastnight!!
Sinbad the Sailor baby! great video Run! Ride!
The rooms are great. And yes the pirate show needs to return. Food options are just ok.
I stayed at this hotel over 07/07/07 and really enjoyed our visit
They dont have the buffet anymore
CVS is not really a great place for cheap snacks. Everything in most CVS locations is hugely marked up in price.
I remember walking by here this past April and seeing the pirate ship just stationary, like it was quite literally parked on the side. (At least it lights up at night.)
I’d never been to Vegas before so I didn’t know what the deal was with it. I’m a little saddened that this is another attraction that’s gone dark that I’ll never get to see in person.
hey new viewer here...wish u had showed and discussed the tram. I'm visiting again this summer with family who's never been so videos are essential
Senior frogs has an amazing drag brunch 2 times a day Thursday - Sunday that is 100% worth the money its a blast
Senor Frogs also offers a $20 voucher when you buy the Go City pass 🔥
I like the other side if the Strip personally.
It’d be cool if you could do a video on what you spend at each casino or for the entire trip. It seemed y’all were there for quite a long time.
Would you ever do a Q&A?
I am staying there in November. Never been in there . Looking forward to it. The prices on the strip are way high, nowadays.
My wife and I will be there in June thanks for the video.
At the beginning of the video you mentioned resort fees but then didn't bring up in the recap???
Today I checked out of my room in treasure Island. It was amazing!
the four Queens is great and there is no resort fee we have seen the pirate show twice when it was there and it we enjoyed it but we never stayed there
The nachos at gillys is AMAZING. Then there is a bar with tons of mojitos. The food and Mojitos were also AMAZING.
Total let down experience for me as of last week. Never more TI after 10 years :-(
@@LVADK why was it such a let down?
@@CurlyQ227_ for me the overall property was just feeling really worn down. I’ve stayed 10 times over 15 years, but this was my final time (unless the room is 100% comped)
@@LVADK got it. I've never stayed there. Interesting.
