I think Harrah's is better, I like the newly renovated rooms at Harrah's more than at the LINQ but since the hotels are connected you still have easy access to everything at the LINQ like the Promenade.
Had a friend come out here with his buddies for a bachelor party last fall and they stayed at the Linq; I hung out with them one of the nights they were here - pregaming a bit in one of their rooms (standard 2 queens, looked almost identical to yours) and a bit of roulette on the casino floor before going out for the night, in all it was a fun time and the Linq seemed pretty great.
My husband and I are 51 and we love the Linq. With that being said, we are party people and love staying up all night. The Linq is in the perfect spot on the strip! Love your content Ruby!
Ruby- I respect you and Mr. Ruby sacrificing and staying in these types of rooms. Some youtubers that shall remain nameless choose only high end rooms for their own personal satisfaction and not for their followers. You know how to give everybody a real experience.
My girlfriend and I have stayed at the Linq every time we've visited Vegas in the last 4 years. We've never had a bad experience, and we love its location on the strip & its connection to the monorail. We find that it allows us to hit all of our favorite places without having to worry about driving or Ubering!
Small rooms but I really appreciate the fact that the rooms have refrigerators, we were able to save some leftovers and it came in handy for sure late night. To be honest if you want to be central strip without a Caesars Price, LINQ is it! Everything was fairly walkable I thought. Hash House a go go was a great breakfast, sometimes it’s a long wait but they text you when the table is ready, so you can hit the room and wait or gamble. Overall I really like the location, my family and I did two nights in October 2021.
Two nights ago I binged all the videos you've been posting... and I wanted more, wondering when the next would be. And here we are lol. I'm over here loving the content- regardless of where you go or what you're up to! Informative, beautifully shot, and just a good time with you and Mr Ruby. Thanks for what you do! And its def helped me plan my last couple Vegas trips.
When I've gone into the O'Shea's mini casino and seen their prices, being old enough to remember the original in it's prime, had prompted me to say "that's bloody blasphemy" with the increased prices compared to the old days...
I worked at the old Imperial Palace / Linq as a Security Officer for over 30 years....I got stories....over 17 guest deaths / suicides (1 employee), 1 murder, a whole lot of insanity!!
Hey Ruby, I’ve been binge watching your channel!! Love to see a separate makeup/lifestyle channel or even curious the best happy hours in Vegas!! I’ve been twice before the pandemic, I really want to go back now!! Love from Canada 🇨🇦
100% accurate linq review! We are staying currently and I agree with everything you said! It’s a fun place but definitely very overstimulating. Best location I think on the strip so close to soooo much! Thanks for the reviews ruby!
I've stayed at the Linq a bunch. Looks like they removed the free chairs at the pool and added more daybeds so they can charge to sit. This is a trend happening at the Caesar Properties and it's ridiculous.
@@butcho7492 I also noticed how things have changed (AND NOT FOR THE BETTER) at "Harrahs, LV" ! I did not like the remodeling of the casino floor! But that is not left up to me of course. I know quite a few of the workers there, mostly Bartenders and Waitress's and they are NOT happy. I am local myself and just went there last week and did not like the change at Harrahs. They are now "remodeling" the Sports Book so I will see how that works out!
It is such an improvement from the Imperial Palace days. I stayed there in 2004 and just remember the hallways being weird and getting turned around all the time. I have been there since the renovation and so cute.
I was in Las Vegas last week and enjoyed every second of it. I was low key hoping to bump into you making one of your videos, I enjoy your informative reviews of all things Vegas.
I've kind of soured on Vegas, at least for now, but your videos are so engaging and well-done that I really enjoy watching them, even though I might not get to Vegas for a while.
Me and my husband stayed in a smokers king room as we like to indulge in 🍃 while in vegas. The smoker rooms are a shit view(linq parking garage) but the room was roomy clean. We didnt have any hang soap, but we always bring our own anyways. We have stayed here 2 times and love it. My only big con is that they do not take cash whatsoever so make sure you have your money on your debit or credit card available for your stay. We are going to stay at a different hotel next time but the linq will always have our hearts.
Thanks Ruby, I leave for Vegas in the morning & I am booked At LINQ for 5days/6nights. In the least creepy way as possible....You are adorable in the morning. (w/your little dunkin doughnut smile)
Bro i stayed at the link the day this video came out and the walk to my room was so bad I would have asked to be moved if I was staying longer than 2 days.
The long walk exists in all casino hotels. That's why I never stay in a casino hotel. I stay off strip and only go to the specific places I want to visit. Plus, I don't want myself and entire suitcase smelling like smoke for my entire Vegas visit, which is also impossible to avoid staying in a casino.
I’ve been binge watching your videos (a sort of prep for bringing my son and his girlfriend to Vegas for their first time)…and introducing them to a frozen Baileys is #1 on my list! Big thanks to you and Mr Ruby for sharing your Vegas experiences!
Another great review and with the Linq so close to everything yeah I would stay there and I love the fact you show what there is all to do at the resorts in your reviews
We stayed at the Linq last year for my husband’s convention & the vibe was definitely younger. And we ate those same EXACT trash can nachos at Guy Fieri ! We loved them. This years convention is at Ceasars which was scheduled two years ago…thank goodness! Leaving tomorrow from central California…about a 5 hour drive. I can’t thank you enough for the SO MANY tips!
I don't plan to visit the Linq when we hit Vegas in October - but I still watch your video because you always have such great tips and information! And the production value on your videos is always terrific - props on the editing!
I look forward to your videos every week, I feel like I stalk your YT channel daily for updates hehe! Even with the post notifications on, I just love the content🙌🏽
I stayed here last time I was in vegas. I liked it there. Definitely for the party goers though. It's funny I didn't find these places to eat cause there's so many options. Another thing too is that the location is amazing. Central strip.
The room you were in looked great! The location is good as well - a monorail stop, right next to Harrah's, a fairly quick walk (at least for me, I walk pretty fast) to the Venetian. I've walked through the property and the Linq Promenade several times. I haven't actually stayed there, but would like to at some point.
Off season (fall) the LINQ is my favorite. Got 3 nights for $17/night. Off season (winter) I love Paris. Off season (spring) I love Caesars. Summer season- Bellagio.
Do you have / could you do a video about safety as a solo traveller? I am a female solo traveller and consider myself quite savvy when out and about. However, I'd love to hear other peoples tips/tricks to keeping important things safe in your room while you're out, extra precautions to take while you're there, even going to the pool can sometimes be awkward - thinking what to do with my belongings while I go in the pool, always having to keep facing my sun lounger to keep an eye on it. I've been looking at lockable security boxes/bags, doorstops etc
I enjoy staying there. Lots of places to eat. Room is big enough for me. And I don't party but like the place. Elevators are slow but there are some in the back that people miss
I always stayed here when it was the imperial palace my first time was in 1991. Last time was in March of 2002. But in all my trips in between these years all but twice did I stay somewhere else and I missed this place because of its location. Always had a good clean room and loved the tea house restaurant for dinner and breakfast also loved the $1.99 11pm to7am. Biscuits and gravy special in the teahouse restaurant. Boy was it good.
I first visited Vegas in 2002. Visited a lot since. Was there in July. With two exceptions, always stayed at the Linq. Was the Imperial Pallace in 2002. Good location, and a reasonable price. Ultra modern. A good place to walk the Strip
Man, I used to be a cocktail waitress when it was Imperial Palace. I remember they had these shitty rooms that overlooked the loading dock. No sunlight, just a view of semi trucks and dumpsters! I always had a blast at O'sheas, Battistas, Ellis Island, and the now closed Key Largo.
Came back to this one after booking our first trip to the Linq for mid February. Got an “upgraded” room in district 3 with a city view for $36, plus tax and resort fee. Hoping for a Sphere view. I walked past the Linq on my last trip and it looked like a really fun place. The proximity to the Linq promenade is gold. We are coming for Postcards at Sphere.
I love The LINQ!. I loved it when it was The QUAD!. I loved it when it was Imperial Palace!. Nights on the balconies when you could hang outside them and everyone would come out and do shots, dance and flash Bitties was the best!. Always a good vibe.
I love your channel and I've been watching your channel for a while to get good tips. My family and I are taking a vacation to Vegas June 9th 2024 - June 14th 2024 and we're staying at the Linq and we're so excited.
We LOVE staying at The LINQ. When we went in March 2021 we were forced to stay at Harrahs instead of where we booked at The LINQ. We missed staying at The LINQ. We are not big into the “party vibe” but love the cheap places to eat, nice rooms, central strip placement & O’Sheas. I am 41 & my fiancé is 51. We don’t feel too old or too out of place compared to other places like Aria or Some fancier casinos.
We stayed at LINQ about 3 years ago and had no issues with it. Refrigerator was tiny and not super powerful but it kept our leftovers cold. I really don't care about hotels, as long as it is clean, comfy bed and no major issues like broken AC then all is good.
Have you ever been to Lake Las Vegas. It was going to be a new hot spot. But being way off the strip it never took off. I went about 20 years ago. It was a beautiful Casino. Look into it and go even if it is no longer open. It was a very cool idea. Small shops where also built
The linq is my go-to hotel, rooms are nice, clean etc. All with a fridge, which is a huge plus. I've never been charged for early check-in. And you can not get a better location on the strip. Plus if you need to get away from the noise they have an amazing spa with 20 dollar day passes.
I stayed at Linq for 4 days last week and liked it! I got a nice view of the strip and paid 35 per night plus 45 a day resort fees. Location was perfect!!!
Just stayed there last month. 1st night was a disaster but they moved us to a different room and had a great time from there on. Hash house is really good and location of this resort is the best.
The LINQ looks poppin! I’m going to Vegas next week and can’t wait to check it out….and I MUST get that baileys freeze omg! Where did you get that shorts/button up set? You should do some vacation outfit videos! (If you haven’t already) Your fits are always WAY cute but at the same time look perfectly comfy for vacation! :)
Stayed there in late 2019 and liked it a lot. Had the suite and it was really nice. Whoever had the room before us left the mini-fridge stocked with a case of beer. Can't beat that.
It's one of my favorites and I've stayed there the most because of that amazing location. However, those room prices are a far cry from the days of the Imperial Palace when I would get the same room, mid-week for $17-$18, in the days before resort fees. So it was about $20 a night with tax. OMG I'm old 😢
In 2011, I stayed in IP for literally free and I have the most basic player's card you can have (I just don't really gamble). I remember looking at the website and realizing I could have stayed for the full month of November for free.
Great job as usual. You and your main squeeze , always seem to have a good vibe with your videos. Quite frankly, just excellent work from both of ya'll!
stayed here for edc in may. check-in process was way more stressful than it needed to be, kiosks weren't working & had to keep being directed to reception which was just 1 person. rooms were small and not enough counter/table space. bathroom lights did not turn on & had to reset them ourselves. rideshare pickup is out of the way + confusing to find. overall, would not stay here again despite it being cheap & midstrip.
should've done Bally's for the midstrip pick up or even the Rio for their shuttle stop, we got a huge suite at the Rio in May for 5 nights for about $600 for edc lol
@@dannym3532 i would have done ballys except this was my first edc so i didnt know shuttles would sell out soooo quickly and got stuck with resorts world. had to lyft back and forth from our hotel every night lol
Every time I’m in Vegas I have stayed at that hotel even when it was the Pagoda, it’s on the strip, easy access to forum and bus stop to outlet mall or fashion island. Issue was that I asked for a refrigerator in my room and they said their would be an extra charge. Tried the outdoor patio during my pre Easter holiday and it was so busy.
Thoughts on The LINQ?
Would you stay here?
That mini Irish casino with the shakes looks so cool! I'm definitely going there!
I think Harrah's is better, I like the newly renovated rooms at Harrah's more than at the LINQ but since the hotels are connected you still have easy access to everything at the LINQ like the Promenade.

I would like to play and eat there, but the pool is too busy for my liking…my age is showing isn’t it…lol
Love your vibe wish I was cool like you

I loved my stay at the Linq last year. Have a good time! I plan to stay there again next time

I've stayed at the Linq a bunch. Looks like they removed the free chairs at the pool and added more daybeds so they can charge to sit. This is a trend happening at the Caesar Properties and it's ridiculous.

My biggest issue with the Linq is the long walk to the room, and the puddle of soap that forms on the vanity under the pump bottle.

The best thing about The Linq is the location. I stayed when it was the Imperial Palace years ago.
I'm a older person but l like a lively atmosphere. Also, if the rooms are good, sure, I'd stay there. ☺
That water sure was murky lolololol
I booked a king suite for the end of the month, can’t wait! 🙌 690 sqft $210 for sun-tue resort fees and all!

I am part of the older crowd and I stayed at the Linq in the past. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Thanks for the video! Cool hotel! I was looking, and I was surprised you didn’t have a Vdara video! We’re booking a stay there in September!
TR, Great review of Linq! I stayed a few years ago and I thought the rooms were spacy. The stay was fine with me! thanks for sharing!
When you said you were getting a drink everyone mentioned I knew exactly where you were going!! Frozen baileys are half the reason we go to Vegas!
I loved your shirt and shorts! Where did you get them? They looked adorable on you.
Congratulations Ruby!!!!
Love the Yardhouse on the promenade...great addition/change from what this area was years ago.
Loved your outfits in this episode! Also, excellent review for the Linq!

As always. Spot on fantastic video on The Linq. Thanks Mr. & Mrs. Ruby. Keep the awesome videos coming. Viva! 🎲
I just came across your channel while doing research on what to do for my upcoming trip to Vegas. Love the content and information!

Great video, Ruby!
I love the music in this one. I like the reboot of those songs.
Just found your channel, and loving every video so far! Great work!
thanks for all your video's Ruby you help us a lot when we go to Vegas

Hope you all are safe and sending so many good vibes and prayers to y’all 💜💜💜
You’re videos are so good! Keep up the great work.
We were at the Linq 4 th of July week and had a great time. Room (King Suite) was comfortable and the center strip location was perfect.
Love the Linq! Great tip on the drink situation for the center strip!
Great job as usual. You and your main squeeze , always seem to have a good vibe with your videos. Quite frankly, just excellent work from both of ya'll!
love all your videos but when can we expect more videos of you playing the slots?
Linq is notorious for not having enough elevators. Avoid it around check IN/Out times. Not my vibe.
Hi Ruby! Love your channel 🥰🥰🥰
stayed here for edc in may. check-in process was way more stressful than it needed to be, kiosks weren't working & had to keep being directed to reception which was just 1 person. rooms were small and not enough counter/table space. bathroom lights did not turn on & had to reset them ourselves. rideshare pickup is out of the way + confusing to find. overall, would not stay here again despite it being cheap & midstrip.
I agree the rideshare pickup location is a joke here under that parking deck
should've done Bally's for the midstrip pick up or even the Rio for their shuttle stop, we got a huge suite at the Rio in May for 5 nights for about $600 for edc lol
@@dannym3532 i would have done ballys except this was my first edc so i didnt know shuttles would sell out soooo quickly and got stuck with resorts world. had to lyft back and forth from our hotel every night lol
My very first trip to Vegas in 2000 I stayed in Imperial Palace, floor 3 the lifts were so so busy then too , just used the stairs x
Looks like a fun place for you kids, years ago I would have enjoyed it 😀 great info for your subscribers 👍🏻
My mom loves that baileys drink. She gets it every time we are in Vegas. As soon as I saw “Oshea’s” i knew that’s the drink you were going for 👌🤤
place looks great! Fun pool. Great eats!!! Amazing location, smack dab in the middle of the strip and the promenade!!!
Love the Linq! Stay all the time great access for the promenade!
