I know it's a local chain, but Blueberry Hills Family Restaurants is a solid choice. Nothing anywhere near the strip but we've made it a stop on the way to the airport or on our way to things in Vegas at large. The blueberry pancakes have blueberries in the pancakes and blueberry compote on top and fresh and delicious. Won't leave hungry for sure! Not nearly as cheap as your cheap eats (breakfast was generally in the 10-15 dollar range but I believe coffee was included and they kept filling the cup).
Thanks for update. I was going to go there end of this month. Hopefully, Ruby can update all these cheap eateries...Sadly everything has gone up in mid 2024.
I have always liked breakfast foods at any time of the day. One of the fun things about being ancient (looking at 80) is being able to say, "I can top that," whenever folks are talking about cheap prices. When I was a little girl, the drugstore, Cunningham's, had a breakfast choice of egg, bacon, toast, and coffee for 29 cents! I didn't drink coffee then, so they let me have juice, milk, or their famous (alcohol-free) lime rickey--same price.
Made it to a couple of places on this list on my recent trip to Vegas earlier this July. Was super impressed with the Village Pub Cafe at Ellis Island. When I got there it was a 45 minute wait but I asked if I could just sit at the bar since it was just me and they said that was fine so I was able to sit and eat right away. Got the steak and eggs but was tempted to get half the menu it all looked so good. Steak and eggs did not play around. 10oz steak (cooked well and lots of flavor), two eggs (scrambled), a whole mess of breakfast potatoes (perfect balance of fluffy and crunchy), and three pieces of super buttery toast. Ton of food that filled me right up (which unfortunately meant I was unable to try anything else) Hard to beat. Only slight disappointment was a glass of orange juice cost me $3.75 but with such a good deal on the rest of the breakfast, I just went with it. I was less impressed with La Salsa Cantina at Planet Hollywood. Didn't have to wait at all, which again was nice, but it didn't really do much for me. Wasn't super filling and was just kinda bland. For $4.79 it's still a good deal but the sausage patty was kinda rubbery, and the potatoes were kinda soggy. Was able to save the breakfast by putting it all in the tortillas the brought me and making my own breakfast tacos out of it.
Ruby!! I have been binging LV hotel and food videos for a few days now... you are the BEST! No 6 mins of self promotion... straight to the dope. Don't change a thing. I now have breakfast all taken care of when I make my trip... really well done! (you should have ordered the steak)
i like hole in wall dining on the Cheap...i did the $5.00 breakfast at the Aztec Casino, when the Strat Cafe was busy...I loved it! Try it...it's lonely in there of a morning...
For the quality of what you get it is definitely affordable and honestly better than anything else on the list. She updated in the comments, and for some people everything on this list is cheap🤣
This is great! I have tried all of them and agree with you completely! Ellis Island is a real find!!! The Cantina, Ocean and Blondie's are all in the Miracle Mile and I love them. We actually ate at Blondie's in January when the line for the Cantina was too long. We just happened to notice the $3.99 sign and went it. They do have a great atmosphere too! Hash House a go go is fun but not cheap like the others. I know they do have one of those at the Linq and Rio both in addition to downtown. When I'm in Vegas I do breakfast and dinner so a large filling breakfast always makes me happy! Thanks so much! I really enjoyed this!
Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day! The picks are great and a fantastic reminder. Great job, and as usual, perfect video length. I’ll keep watching.
I did Ellis Island during my first time to Vegas. I was shocked at how good all food was. I had stack of pancake, delicious soft bacon (I ask for it like that), potatoes, rye toast. Very good, huge servings. I will eat there again next time I go. I really want to climb the pyramid on outside to the top, I think it possible to do.
The only breakfast on your list that I would call inexpensive is what you bought at Blondies. $3.99 for a ‘2+2’ is a very good price pretty much anywhere. (A 2+2 is diner slang for 2 eggs, 2 meat; potatoes and toast don’t count. Add a short stack of pancakes and it’s a 2+2+2) $5.99 is a bit on the high end for that and anything over is paying for the name. Earl of Sandwich is high considering you get the same at a fast food place for $3 or less and Eggslut is simply outrageous. As an example, you can get a 2+2 at The Village Pub in Ellis Island for $5.99 of steak and eggs for $6.99. There are still some breakfast buffets in Vegas that are still priced lower than what you paid at House of Blues. You ate at some nice places but not really any that I would call inexpensive, much less cheap.
I've been watching your vids for a while now. They're always very informative, entertaining. You always seem to have fun, but honest about your reviews on everything. You're great in front of the camera as you're cute as a button, your editing is great, music selection awesome, etc. All great for a vegas video youtuber. I look forward to more and more from you.
Couldn't agree with you more on Blondies. Was there early march and ate at Blondies 3 of the 5 mornings we were there... would have been 4 but we tried La Salsa the morning before Blondies!
@@JC-qk1sq no comparison in my book. Bloodies all the way. Bigger portion and better/fresher ingredients in my opinion. Side note, we had La Salsa Cantina first and did like it but wife and I were blown away by Blondies

I LOVE EARL OF SANDWICH ❤️ I have to eat there when I go to Vegas ! Hash House a Go Go is so good and huge portions this is usually breakfast AND lunch !
ELLIS ISLAND was there 2 weeks ago after ordering food came out 6min. later EVERYTHING precooked scramble eggs was from warmer w/ water , potatoes and bacon barely warm . Did see other meals that looked Great. So maybe it's a hit or miss.

Hey Ruby Great video 👍😀 Have u ever been to Blueberry hill? Best pancakes we've ever had and the price is right ($11) Love ur videos Thanks for sharing
Hi, you may have to update this video. I just returned from Las Vegas and by recommendation from another youtuber, I ate at Ellis Island for their special brekkie. It was $9.99 and coffee was extra, which she omitted. My bill was just under $15 for the steak, fried potatoes and 2 eggs done to preference. It was a great brekkie and good value, coffee extra. I was staying at Horseshoe/Ballys, so just a few minutes walk. I had brekkie one morning at the earl of sandwich, exactly what you had, you are right, very hot, but very average place and like a McDonalds brekkie bun,, not great, I could make better myself and the coffee is shit. I never tasted a wowful coffee in my life like this place, really crap and that that breakfast bun was very average and not the price you said it was,
I haven't tried Blondies yet but my first thought when I saw the title was the steak and eggs at Ellis Island. I'll drive in from Henderson for that one. :)
I could not find ocean one for the life of me! I know it’s in the miracle mile shop but no clue where. I gave up and went to wicked spoon and paid 15x the price 😂
Just did the Ellis Island steak and eggs $8.99. Great call. Eggs were very buttery. Walked over from Ballys. Will always come here now. I visit Vegas 3xs a year so this is live changing Ruby. 😆 🤣
@@joannlawery4258 $12.95 per person, but you can order off the menu too if you don’t want the buffet. This is why I like the cheap breakfasts better than the breakfast brunch buffets. All of the restaurants covered in this video offers huge portions. I can't eat that much in the mornings anyways. Great video. I always like going to Earl of Sandwich for grab and go convenience.
WOW!! Even though this video is a year old I know all these places are still here. Any new ones??? Do ANY of these restaurants sell blueberry pancakes??????? I know a place near the Linq called Maxies has some for $14. Not a bad price. Thanks for sharing.......not the food but the video. lol lol your awesome!!!!
Hi Ruby. Great utubes. Wish I was there 🙏💵🥰🎉. Good you are classy and just show us the delicious meals you and hubby are enjoying. When eating sit up straight take smaller portion on spooon and fork. Smaller pieces looks better and healthier 🙏☕️🥰🍰☕️🌻
Cant say anything about the others but I will vouch for Ellis Island, its my must go to every Vegas visit. Their steaks are bomb! EDIT : then I saw you dip the steak into steak sauce...good steak should never be dipped into steak sauce...steak sauce should be obsolete LOL
Hey Ruby...I'm new to your channel and have enjoyed all the video's I have watched. I'm somewhat of a Vegas veteran as I've been going for 33 years. I've seen many , many changes over the years; some good and some. well...... I like your take on today's Vegas and have learnt some valuable tips. Thanks, and keep up the great work.
It's Hash *HOUSE* A-Go-Go; get it right. It's also not a real Vegas breakfast unless you have a pint or a tall beer or a bloody Mary with it. Take it from someone who's lived here for almost 30 years. Do not waste your time coming to Vegas. You're in for a major disappointment.
Girl, you don’t know cheap breakfast in Las Vegas. I know your doing now and I’m doing then. Before you were born the Frontier (that is now an empty lot across from the Wynn and the Mall, a full breakfast was $1.99 and it was good. Then for a $1 more you could go to the restaurant in the basement of Binions after 11:00PM and get Steak and Eggs for $2.99. The tip was always more than the total cost of food for two people. That was when Las Vegas was a great place to party and dine and not break the bank. Some of the places on your list now cost more to park than what your breakfast cost and that’s just sad 🥵 How about a post on cheap places to eat in Northern Las’ pool Vegas, say up Hiway 95
The Omelet House. It isn't even close. On Charleston, just west of The Strip. Not silly cheap, but a value nonetheless. And you aren't going to get some generic breakfast plate. Instead, your choice of a couple of dozen different kinds of omelets, and they're huge. This is where in-the-know locals eat.
Warning on Blondies as of Summer of 2021-they told my dad when he went this past Summer that he had to be *seated* by 9:00 am to qualify for the special. Not sure if it still applies but find out
I love your channel I just don't understand the backpack trend.... please let it go. I see retired service people still carrying these things around.. What do you have to pack around in that when you work in an office building? Damn I gave up my briefcase over 20 years ago when they went out of style. Maybe I should bring it back... hmmmmm
i'm visiting vegas in 2 weeks (i'm south african, but live in the UK) i'm so worried about tipping incorrectly. how would i tip for a cheaper, quick breakfast? and if you order at, and get at counter, then we don't need to tip hey?
Need to comment on the coffee at these restaurants too. All of them do not have good coffee. And, coffee is just as important as the meal. Blondie’s isn’t very good. La Salsa waayyyy better. Did they know u were doing a review? Also, try the Hard Rocks breakfast. Better breakfast and coffee. Thanks!
I have to say that Blondie’s was a disappointment. Although the $4.99 breakfast special was available, it was only shown on a poster on the outside of the restaurant. I completely didn’t see it and the waitress never mentioned the special. Also, during our breakfast my wife has a mishap with her juice knocking it over. It took staff over five minutes to come over to bring extra napkins and help clean it up. This is to also reinforce that our waitress did see it happen and said that she would bring napkins. However, she kept serving tables. She actually stopped to take the orders of a table of eight that just sat down. Also, the bottomless cup of coffee isn’t. I drank my cup and sat there with an empty cup. I had to finally ask to have a refill. I only got one refill and never it my waitress come back with more. Blondie’s was a disappointment.
I love coffee like you do, hot, cold, iced whatever! Other than Starbucks, are there any local coffee places you love in Vegas? I love Starbucks, but I like to try coffee places I can’t get at home ☕️
Down here in Newport richey Florida we go to the fifties diner you get bacon or sausage or or ham 2 eggs and your choice of grits or hash Browns ,toast, coffee and a glass of Orange juice for $5.99 just saying alot of other places down here are $1.00-$2.00 more
Damnit. I was just at Ellis Island and made the mistake of eating outside which wasn't great. I have been to AmeriBrunch by Circa a couple of times and I love it. Of course Hash House is an experience you need to do also.
We tried so hard to get to La Salsa on time per your video and ended up walking in circles in the mall ..eeek. We literally showed up right at noon and they were changing the kitchen over so ended up eating lunch which was still amazing and we had five dollar coronas. The atmosphere is amazing so thanks for the tip.! 🎉

This is why I like the cheap breakfasts better than the breakfast brunch buffets. All of the restaurants covered in this video offers huge portions. I can't eat that much in the mornings anyways. Great video. I always like going to Earl of Sandwich for grab and go convenience.
THANKS,, wow great video,, And we love Bally's UBER behind it 2 minutes Ellis Island
Blondies for b-fast. And heart of glass tunes. very nice (borat voice)
That's not a donut...that's a slab of fried dough lol. My goodness. Wow! I think Donut Bar is also here in San Diego...sounds like a familiar name.
How in the world do these places stay in business??
I haven't eaten breakfast yet but now I'll be expediting the process 😂
Some of the places on your list now cost more to park than what your breakfast cost and that’s just sad 🥵
How about a post on cheap places to eat in Northern Las’ pool Vegas, say up Hiway 95
I miss the breakfast buffet at Spice Market at Planet Hollywood - RIP. They had the crispiest bacon.
Warning on Blondies as of Summer of 2021-they told my dad when he went this past Summer that he had to be *seated* by 9:00 am to qualify for the special. Not sure if it still applies but find out
Tried the $3.99 breakfast at Blondies & it was good however was not aware a small OJ was $5.99!
But don't you sleep mornings because the lights / nightlife...what late night cheap eats..??? D
Down here in Newport richey Florida we go to the fifties diner you get bacon or sausage or or ham 2 eggs and your choice of grits or hash Browns ,toast, coffee and a glass of Orange juice for $5.99 just saying alot of other places down here are $1.00-$2.00 more
$7 for a mimosa? I think not. South Point. Steak or ham and eggs. 5 bucks. Damn good breakfast. Bloody Marys for 1 buck a shot.
Damnit. I was just at Ellis Island and made the mistake of eating outside which wasn't great. I have been to AmeriBrunch by Circa a couple of times and I love it. Of course Hash House is an experience you need to do also.
I remember back in the 80-90 circus circus breakfast buffet 1.99 dinner 2.99 dinner 3.99 be for greed came along
The Fairfax sandwich at Eggslut. The perfect breakfast
Hey! Why the thumbs down(s) clown(s)!? This person is giving it to you straight! This takes a lot of time to do.... Sheesh!
Great info again👍🏻 , we’ve yet to try donut bar but when we can get over from the UK we will ....hopefully soon😀
Aztec inn casino opp the strat, bit run down but 5 dollar breakfast was huge and the pancakes wow, highly recommend the breakfast burrito
Awesome Ruby! Thanks! BreaKfast is the toughest meal to nail in LV…right?
How you gonna be "travel ruby" ?

Girl after my own heart!! I love me some breakfast! We will be traveling to Vegas next month and I can't wait to try a few of these places!! 🤤
