Speedo and fuel gauge programming is easy. Speedo has a feature where you link it to your phone. It will give you your gps speed. You will give the guage a set point say 40 mph When the gps on your phone says 40mph you tap a button on your phone and it calibrates. For fuel. Run it almost empty. Get to the pump and get on the Dakota app. Select manual setup. It will give you a prompt to follow. Put in one gallon and press select. Put in 3 gallons. Press select. Then fill it up and press select. The fuel gauge will then auto correct. I just did a full Dakota setup on my dad’s car a few months ago. Still working out the kinks
I got the fuel gauge going and it’s pretty accurate I’m happy with it. The speedo I’ve got to look into. I’ll look up the instructions to see exactly how to do what you’re saying. I bought the lower level model I’m not sure if I have Bluetooth. Thanks for watching brother I appreciate the support.
Legit just named all the problems with my 79 Camaro drove it to work today tho lmao I really need to do the plugs and gas gauge lol to make it a family reliable car lol
hahaha. its funny how we have no problem risking getting stuck when were alone but not with family. Get that thing fixed up so you can enjoy it with your family. Have fun and enjoy that old hot rod. Thanks for checking out the channel.

Worst part of a full build/project is tying up all of the little loose ends.
For sure. Oddly I feel like they’re the most satisfying things to complete
