Unique Collaged Frames with Paper Dolls | Journal Ideas #1

- These collaged frames are very lovely to add to your journal pages. Collaging frames is a bit different then collaging a page, but in essence it is the same of course. I find it very relaxing to collage and with frames there is only just a small area to fill. Quick results.
You can make it as simple or complex as you want. In this video you see my process in creating frames with a vintage vibe. I used paper dolls as an extra element, but any cut-out will be great. You can use it to emphasize a theme or vibe.
Hope you give this a try and make your own collaged frames. If you have any questions please let me know. In the next video we are going to step into the world of embossing glaze. It is not that difficult and very fun to play with.
Thanks for watching.
Hope you got inspired! xx Marian

Yes, paper dolls I can remember when paper dolls were the big things. I was born in 1950. I used to play with paper dolls and made my own. It brings back such wonderful memories
That’s so nice to hear. Did they look like the ones I used? Although I was born a bit later I know I had paper dress up dolls, cut the clothes out and wrap them on the paper doll. I did forget that too.
Love paper dolls! My favorite toy when I was growing up in the late 50s-early 60s, These are so lovely!
Thanks. Yes these paper dolls are so lovely and give such a great vintage element.
There is certainly nothing wrong with crafting, but I just have to say it-the creativity and quality of your work makes you an artist rather than a crafter. This journal is marvelous.
Thank you so much. Going to finish this journal up soon. Because I have many ideas for the next one.
The jute vase is brilliant!! ❤
Thank you 😊. The best ideas happen spontaneously in the moment.
Very lovely! The frame turned out so pretty and can’t wait to see how you embossed the flowers.
Thank you. Embossing is such a nice thing to do.
