Let's explore the crafting world of mixed media together!
I was a creative child and teen. Studied arts, drawing and manual crafting. Found my way in the graphics industry and ended up specializing in making magazines.
Then I did a 1-80, went back to school and became a massage therapist. It was around the year 2004 and I was 30-ish years old and discovered I was a HSP (high sensitive person). Through my studies and work as a massage therapist I found myself (sort of, it is a work in progress). I closed my practice in 2020.
As a 2nd income stream I promoted essential oils and natural supplements (still do this on the side), I use them every day to keep my balance in life and it got me through menopause (ugh).
Fast forward last summer (2023) I wanted to be creative again, got inspired by Tim Holtz and I am happy ever since. I love sharing and teaching so that brought me here making crafting video's.
I appreciate you crafting with me, so let's inspire and have some fun creating!

Thank you so much for this! Your page is lovely! I don’t have a journal, with good paper that can handle mixed media that I can work on but I’m inspired to do something crafty.I don’t know if you will understand what I mean but how do you get over the perfection obsession and the urge to rip out a page ( or many pages) when they are not perfect or just don’t turn out as planned?
Thanks for your openness. I got so inspired by your comment, I will dedicate the next journal page to the perfectionists. It helps to have a cheap journal, mine was only €2,-. You can use loose papers and keep them in a folder. Lots of creative people are perfectionists and it can be a strength too. I will talk about it in my video. Thanks 🙏
