We've been spending every other summer in Maine (1,700 mile drive) It's so beautiful, I can't imagine it in the autumn! Bring a warm coat and t-shirts! It's impossible to know what the weather will be one day to the next!

they are called "avana tags" by Stamperia but they are old and discontinued. I just happen to have a few more in my stash. If you google it maybe some store have them still in stock.

Hi Vicky! I love this! I think I have that rice paper or something very similar from the original Blue Land when it came out. It’s such a beautiful design and now I am inspired on how to use it. I’ve been collecting rice papers from Stamperia and other companies but I do not think that I’ve actually used it yet (gasp… oh no)… this has to change. LOL I love how you did this video and will hope to create an art journal layout sooner than later. I was excited then a bit bummed to hear you will be at SSS Create as I am only a few hours from there (I live in western New York State) but unfortunately I am not physically able to go this year. I do like Stamperia's rice paper. i didn't have a place to put it, when I the first few sheets, but recently i put some time into the craft room and found I a nice little collection. With those and Tim Holtz's 6" tissue rolls, plus a couple of his older, larger ones, i have lots to choose from. And I like using the for backgrounds. Such a great jumping off point!
This turned out so beautiful! I love how all the little touches work together to make such a great finished product. I would love to see you do something like this on a canvas or a cradled board to hang on the wall.

It's the same process for canvas. Just glue the folded edges over the sides instead of trimming.

We call it rice paper, but rice has nothing to do with it. I think it's a kind of mulberry paper.
