Great people all around. The scope of what Gordon Murray is accomplishing is astounding.
Driving enthusiasts , Heaven is a place on earth & it's Gordon Murray Automotive & it just keeps getting better , Wow !
I was born and raised near the Brooklands racetrack. Used to ride bikes (Choppers and Grifters!) up and down the banked sections. So good to see something like this based in Surrey. 🍾🍾🍾
well done Gordon, cant wait to see it all completed and producing that fantastic car
What an inspiration to hold on to your dreams and to be able to do it your way....Bravo Gordon and team!!
Been waiting so long for an upload!!
Gordon is a true designer in every sense of the word. Massively looking forward to the T50/33 production run and possibly a LM entry??
LM gave up on the regs that got everyone excited to join, no way the T.50 will be legal
@@Obi-WanKannabis why the hell do they keep doing this to us. I couldn’t imagine it to be that difficult to run a quasi-FIA GT or DTM formula again without the crazy arms race tactics that got those formulae cancelled.
Love this, amazing project and amazing people. ❤️
Big congrats to Gordon and GMA 🙏🏎🇬🇧
Congratulations on building history.
The t50 will set the new standard for the drivers ultimate car.
GMA - investment on all fronts to what is yet another pinnacle of British engineering 😎
So, when will we see Dario thrashing one of the cars around here?
The video description suggests next week!
Glad to see Dario have something fun to do post-racing career.
Great Man. If I met him I would shake like a leaf with adrenaline. God the questions one would have!
Congratulations to the entire team at GMA, pumped to see what comes out of this amazing facility in the near future, Well done.
Wonderful!
Congratulations Gordon and team.
But showing the T.50 without playing the engine audio is sacrilege !
Now that's one place I'd love to work.
Congrats. Makes me wanna build a race track in my back yard as well hehe.
MEGA! Love it! Congratulations! 👍
Wonderful!!!!
Congrats guys!
Sr. Gordon precisa fazer outro monoposto, imagina se ele consegue colocar esse V12 num carrinho como o Rocket
@Dario, @gordon, Hopefully the surrounding area has some great roads, and hopefully soon you all can afford a bigger test track. although this one looks to have all it needs for testing good dynamics.
Brilliant
Cool.
What are the lines of boxes on the outer portions of the track at 2:46 ? Sensors, sprinklers? Also congratulations on the new facilities.
They look like rattle bumps.
My dream is that one day the Gordon Murray Group will grow to a point where they will decide to make an affordable sports car designed with the same philosophy behind Gordon Murray's hypercars
I wish that may happen
Don't be silly. This is an elitist industry serving those that look down on the common plebs. These toys are not for the poor.
@@TheErsatzMode that is true.
but car companies research cars from other manufacturers all the time,
and they might get some insight on making lighter faster more efficient and more fun cars from the t50 and t33
so it is not all bad
and the McLaren F1 was inspired by the NSX as reference
I know the world looks dark sometimes
but you have to see the good in things
even if they are just toys for the rich
I normally find it close to impossible to fault anything that Gordon has been involved with. Seriously, the guy's a bona fide genius.
But......
That test track is narrower than Posh Spice. What are you testing? Bicycles?
Shame Dario didn't drive the T50 back from Italy, which was on the last video.
Wish the best😉
🥃🏴🥃
maybe it would be different to record drivers perspective of driving with 3d audio video recording with microphone camera maybe at drivers forehead level. driver can record getting into and out of car and walking around it and record it driving by as it would in real roads in that way, doing some drfiting and such stuff
How confusing, Highams Park is a region on London’s Eastern suburbs Chingford/Waltham Forest Way.
Might as well have called it Murrayfield, at least the original is so much further away from Surrey as to be obvious.
Wasn't a huge fan of the looks on the T50 but that orange looks *much* better than the silver.
Hopefully it won't look like some modernist box when it's fully clad, but I'm not holding my breath. I would have expected something that compliments the classic shapes of the cars and not some modernist nightmare that most people hate.
Holy moly. Some finance backing! Will look great. Shame his small car didn’t take off.
Hes had finance backing for a while now Id imagine. You can't get a supercar so far into development without it.
🫡, the track is a work of art 😎
it's really a great track, what will be the lap record there, you recon under 15 seconds or over for the T50?
It's also a work of environmental destruction.
@@koma7252 They can test at the Top Gear track. They have a facility there.
Would have been great to see this happen 20 years ago, then we could have witnessed more creations from the GOAT that is Gordon Murray.
is it just me or does that testtrack seem a little simple?
Test Tracks are extremely expensive. They’re either using what was already there or built the least expensive track which could meet their needs. They’ll go to Millbrooke (?) for higher speed testing I’m sure. They already went to Nardo!
@@alexbelmonte4581 Or Dunsfold for proper handling thrashing.
@@alexbelmonte4581 it looks brand new
I think it's probably only for final assembly sign off testing rather than any kind of performance testing. It only measures about 500m for the whole lap in Google Earth. They are only 2 miles down the road from Chobham Test Track anyway, where they can do more high speed testing if they need to.
Test tracks don't need to be complicated, they just need to have a bit of everything to test the car.
I think you've slow rolled us long enough, we want to see/hear the finished car flat out.
i think not many people realize...this is not about cars. this car won't peform or do anything, but that was never its purpose in the first place. some people never learn.
@@koma7252 what are you talking about?
We've already seen the prototypes redline, and go fast in goodwood, in hill climb and as a pace car with the vintage formula 1's there. They are in pre production stage now, so not very long till we see the finished product.
T50 please?
Just get on with launching the bloody thing.
Is anything real? Or is Gordon Murray and his gorgeous T.50 just a dream? Serious question. I feel like I don't have the energy to do hardly anything. Gordon Murray is on fire. I think the symbol of the beautiful mermaid women shows the kind of guy Gordon Murray is. I hate fish tanks recently for some reason, Idk what to say about that. Murray
Love the car. Hate Mace 😅
To concrete-over, and otherwise adversely change dozens of acres of my home planet for the purposes of capitalism, and providing yet another expensive toy option for the aberrated rich, I find highly objectionable.
They're providing dozens of jobs for ordinary hard-working people.
@@JohnFromAccounting, so? Why is the concept of humans being reduced to slaves to serve capitalism more important to you than preserving the natural environment?
@@TheErsatzMode Because the natural environment does not pay the bills or put food on the table for hard working people, The T50 is so niche that its environmental impact is more or less nothing, if this means so much to you then spend your energy elsewhere such as India/China/USA the worlds biggest pollution generating nations and leave the swansong of the internal combustion engine to those that appreciate engineering perfection.
And you are also a hypocrite at best, considering you watched and responded to a video on a device that was mass produced to serve capitalism with a massive carbon footprint built in mega factories using petrochemicals as the base material for most of its construction.
@@regfenster, isn't it funny that all other animals are fully supported by the natural environment. But, according to you, us humans have to desecrate it or we die. I think you must be standing on your head.
