With every new hyper car seemingly increasing in size to make the car handle due to the power and weight this is sooooo refreshing. And the sound??? My lord. The F1 was a benchmark that is almost impossible to replicate but if anyone can do it it’s Gordon. What a genius! I don’t think it’s the most beautiful car in the world but it must be top on almost everything else. I sincerely hope Gordon becomes a ‘Sir’ for his services to the automotive industry. Absolutely mind boggling.

Dario Franchitti was really the perfect man to tell the story of the T.50. You can just see how deeply passionate he is about cars/performance driving with every word and facial expression. With his immense success driving touring cars, champ car and of course the 4 IndyCar championships, to see a man of his caliber and experience with the absolute best machinery on the planet really fall in love with the car, it sends home the message of how good the T.50 really is.
The word genius is one of the most overused words in language. However Gordon Murray is a literal genius and a visionary. He's literally created the greatest road car in the world TWICE! You and your team deserve all the success and praise in the world. It's been a pleasure watching the T50 unfold.
I think you should be looking up olin Chapman for that. He did the same many times over on a shoe lace. Didn't live in a stately mansion either. Just wonder what Colin Chapman could have done if all the drug lords and billionaires these hyper cars are sold to were around in his days.
What an inspiration Gordon Murray is. And what a creation the T.50 is. When he drove it through the tunnel and you hear the induction roar and you see him smile, you know what this means to him..Fantastic to see his dream come true

I never really dove into Gordon until recently, despite growing up loving the F1. However, over the last year I have devoured every second of content with him that I could find. I truly believe he deserves to be on the Mount Rushmore of automotive giants. He and Koenigsegg and Pagani, though they don’t revolutionize the automotive industry in whole, represent the pinnacle of what it means to be a car enthusiast. Though money is made, it isn’t the goal. The goal is that almost unattainable perfect drive. That feeling when it all comes together. Congrats on a job well done to everyone involved. Every time I watch one of these movies about Gordons creations I fall in love with a beautiful car, the thrill of acceleration, narrow windy roads all over again..I'll sadly never get to drive one of these, I do hope to catch a glimpse of one though, here in Australia. I did ogle an F1 in a London showroom, many years ago and I had a large diecast model (the only one I ever bought), I loved that car so much. This Car though...gosh..so much I could say and yet it's really all about a feeling and Gordon, you've captured that perfectly imo.
You are one person on my bucket list of people to meet, it would be such an honor to see and talk with you. Everything you have created is amazing. The T50's design is simple, but beautiful and elegant. And that cosworth v12... just incredible.

The entire team at Gordon Murray are incredible. Seeing them work every day, genuinely love coming to work. Even though I'm not directly involved with the cars, you see the hard graft the techs go through to deliver. From innovation, design through to development, they're an inspiration. Every single one of them.

Amazing to see the culmination of Gordon's entire, fabulous life distilled down into this brand and this car. We are truly watching automotive history as it is being written. Thank you for the glimpse, Gordon!
As somebody that lives near Shelford I can tell you if you get to see this car drive on the road it’s mesmerising you feel the sound in your chest and it brings a smile to your face
Gordon’s reaction and that sound brought tears of joy and excitement at the fact I have never heard such a unreal sound and that was only the Audio through a video, this car will shake the automotive world ❤
What is success ? To follow your heart and mind with conviction- to put your name to something your proud of - It looks and sounds fantastic- hats off to GM and the team
watched your very first video when you launched the car and the series, and by the way, made my day that you liked my comment! and here we are Gordon, final sign off Congratulations to you and your team, your creation is a blessing to the automotive world
Having an Indy car winner and the creator of this masterpiece both giggling at road speeds tells you pretty much everything you need to know about this car. Thank you to the all GMA team and THANK YOU Mr Murray for keep dreaming and persevering.
It must be some world that Gordon lives in. To have the engineering skill and ability to design then manufacture a car like that is a really incredible achievement. Add to that a host of other amazing vehicles including the fantastic original F1, it doesn’t get better. What a sound when that motor spins up. Worth every penny.
Absolutely remarkable development timeline! Congratulations to GM the godfather of supercar design, your whole team at GMA and all your partners. Waiting for the first journalist reviews of this, and I think you'll have to drag them out when you feel they're done. The T50 will be the ultimate supercar of this generation as the true successor of the Mclaren F1. Next, the T50S, and then T33.
A really special feeling to this video… the start of an era but weirdly the closing of one, I’ve loved these progress videos from start-to-finish, to the point where I myself feel like I’ve been involved in it, what a special car.

It is kinda sad, but thank you to the whole team for documenting this interesting process! The good thing is that now a lot of T.50s will, hopefully, hit the road in different parts of the world and hopefully I get to see and HEAR one 😀
So gorgeous. I'm just sitting, post-viewing, letting my emotions taker it in. So grateful that eccentrics such as Gordon Murray still exist in this world to present us with such purity & beauty.
Thank you for bringing us along for the ride with this series of videos. I've watched every single one and cannot wait to see what you have in store for us next! Maybe let us know when you take that drive to the Highlands, so that I can listen to that V12 sing through the mountains!
Amazing how incredibly fast this car went from a napkin sketch to full production ready in this short amount of time. The fact it’s one of the most engineering finest makes it that more impressive. Just goes to show you how quickly things can get done if you’re not ruled by committee and accountants and just have this one focused, singular attention to make the world’s best driver’s car
I love the aura of everything about the T50, the Tech, The past, the present, the garage and artisans feeling, the human driver side, i love the aston martin valkyrie like a car in a Play Station, but this car is different this car is pure art on wheels.
I'm sure there are a ton of perks to being a champion level professional racer. For me, Dario's current job of testing the T.50 would be at the top of the list :) Please Gordon, PLEASE make an Elise-like car for normal people!!!!
What a brilliant testament to the genius mind of Gordon and his team and of course to those at Cosworth Northampton. For us mere mortals we can but dream of what the driving experience might be so thanks to Dario and Gordon as they continue to take us closer with their superbly filmed updates. I cannot imagine any car eclipsing the engineering and design excellence of the T50, possibly the greatest achievement of them all.
Everyone should be well chuffed! So proud of the accomplishment and this milestone and I don’t even know anyone on the team. Big congratulations from a fan in Southern California! Now, please get on with the T.43 project! Looking forward to a modern replacement for my supercharged Elises. Can’t wait!
The original F1 road car was my poster car. Still is. When Gordan compares the 'flaws' in that design which were limitations of manufacturing of the era, but then he eliminated them in this T50 series. Blimey I thought I had attention to detail in life. The first F1 was and still is a Brunel level piece of engineering. The T50 is another incredible achievement. Sir Murray thank you for putting your energies into creating a second masterpiece (of the road world). Colin Chapman would have tipped his hat to you for sure.
I love the look and philosophy of this car. I hope i have the means to buy one sometime in the Future. It's cars like these that inspire me the most. Pure, reliable and fun.

Its really inspiring to see that Gordon and company are truly dedicated to their vision of automotive perfection. The attention to details and consistent design philosophy creates such absolutely elegant yet brutally capable vehicles that are truly rolling works of art. Congratulations on finishing the development!
Makes me happy that the whole project was so thoroughly and tastefully documented for future generations. Also, I'm glad I got the first video on my recommended as soon as it came out. Probably due to my F1 obsession.
Amazing to see the culmination of Gordon's entire, fabulous life distilled down into this brand and this car. We are truly watching automotive history as it is being written. Thank you for the glimpse, Gordon!
A true masterpiece that I hope to see in person one day ❤
As somebody that lives near Shelford I can tell you if you get to see this car drive on the road it’s mesmerising you feel the sound in your chest and it brings a smile to your face
Gordon Murray reminded me why I fell in love with cars. Thanks to all the people behind the T.50. You did the F1 successor justice.
Gordon Murray will always be remembered and regarded as one of the greatest automotive designers!
Big congratulations to the entire team and all subcontractors! What a design and engineering accomplishment this is.
I love the compact body style, not oversized like many other sports cars nowadays
Gordon’s reaction and that sound brought tears of joy and excitement at the fact I have never heard such a unreal sound and that was only the Audio through a video, this car will shake the automotive world ❤
Huge thanks to all the people involved in this project 🙏
Making something that is much greater than the some of its parts.
Automotive artistry
The true successor of the F1. This car is a masterpiece. A combination of power and elegance without looking fancy or extravagant.
This journey has been great. Thanks, Mr Gordon Murray, for taking us along this journey to be part of this.
What is success ? To follow your heart and mind with conviction- to put your name to something your proud of -
It looks and sounds fantastic- hats off to GM and the team
watched your very first video when you launched the car and the series, and by the way, made my day that you liked my comment!
and here we are Gordon, final sign off
Congratulations to you and your team, your creation is a blessing to the automotive world
Having an Indy car winner and the creator of this masterpiece both giggling at road speeds tells you pretty much everything you need to know about this car.
Thanks guys.. the world needs more Gordon Murrays and like minded teams.
Oh man the sound that NA V12 makes is just sublime.
Actually felt like crying watching this. I don't think we'll ever get such s detailed build of a car like this again.
A really special feeling to this video… the start of an era but weirdly the closing of one, I’ve loved these progress videos from start-to-finish, to the point where I myself feel like I’ve been involved in it, what a special car.
8:50 after this reaction you can recognize A person who truly loves cars, appreciates every second of using them, their sound, their behavior on the road, has respect for them and has an indescribable feeling for them that cannot be compared.
It is kinda sad, but thank you to the whole team for documenting this interesting process! The good thing is that now a lot of T.50s will, hopefully, hit the road in different parts of the world and hopefully I get to see and HEAR one 😀
Agreed
So gorgeous. I'm just sitting, post-viewing, letting my emotions taker it in. So grateful that eccentrics such as Gordon Murray still exist in this world to present us with such purity & beauty.
Thank you for bringing us along for the ride with this series of videos. I've watched every single one and cannot wait to see what you have in store for us next!
Maybe let us know when you take that drive to the Highlands, so that I can listen to that V12 sing through the mountains!
Congratulations, Gordon and crew. Brilliant piece of vision, engineering and craftsmanship. Thank you for bringing us plebes along for the ride!
Thank you Gordon for giving the Auto world another Mona Lisa. Congratulations from Pretoria South Africa.
Amazing handcraft. Congrats to the whole team. This is a gift to the automotive industry.
Never Bored Listening The Sound of The Engine.... Gordon Murray 💜
The cheeky smile on Gordon’s face after the tunnel just said if all. That was brilliant.
This entire project, including this video, really captures the beauty of combining art & engineering.
Owning such a amazing piece of engineering would be a dream. Grats to the Team involved. Such an amazing machine.
Gordon Murray is a living legend - the passion he has is amazing, a true inspiration ❤
Congrats all. As a fan, seeing Gordon smile as he drove it... I can only imagine how satisfying this car is.
Congratulations to Gordon and everyone who worked on this masterpiece, what an achievement.
Everyone should be well chuffed! So proud of the accomplishment and this milestone and I don’t even know anyone on the team. Big congratulations from a fan in Southern California!
Now, please get on with the T.43 project! Looking forward to a modern replacement for my supercharged Elises. Can’t wait!
the sound is unbelievable and Gordons face when he puts his foot down, Pure joy.
That v12 may be the best ever made, it's unbelievable
Till he made the T.33
@@Kronos0999 the t.33 has the same motor
@@jjchockey Yeah, and the T.50 owners were not happy about it
Spectacular.
Cars like this are becoming a rare breed. Just stunning, beautiful, inspiring and involving.
Quite an emotive piece! Beautiful bit of film this! A massive congratulations to Gordon and the Team - what an achievement!
These have been so enjoyable. Just incredible to go through the process of building one of the most innovative cars of all time by one of the best designers in history. Thank you Gordon and Dario (you lucky guy)
I honestly thought Dario was wandering up to an F1 around the 0.5 min mark... fantastic!
Masterclass in engineering, great to be along for the inspiring journey. Looking forward to the next steps of GMA now that this significant milestone is entered into the annals of automotive history.
It has been a fantastic journey, the development of T.50, and I am very grateful to you and the team for sharing it with us. Cheers to T.50s and T.33. 👍
Every true car lover knows the Mclaren is the ultimate car to have, thank you Mr.Murray for this amazing journey
Seriously what an absolute masterpiece of engineering this car is. I hope to see one in person. Like Leno said, Gordon is an idol in the automotive world. Everything the engineers, Dario, and of course Gordon accomplished with this car should be praised like gods. I truly think this will be the last car with a soul engineered and built in my lifetime
Stunning. That engine sound…well done!
