Very clear video, good job. Still waiting for your other video showing how to use it. For those having a hard time finding the e46 chassis in INPA, it's there, because I've seen it. Don't skip steps during installation like someone suggested. E46 is under F3, or under Older Models section. There are several versions of INPA so it is not the same option in every version, but it's there. Also, my car has both OBD port and diagnostic port under the hood. Seems to work better with the diagnostic port, though I was unable to clear some codes / correct some errors with INPA. Not what I was hoping for. Installed on win XP laptop.
i dont have F3 menu, and older models came just e36 and e39, e46 is nowhere
Hey man, first and foremost this is hands down the best INPA video I've seen. You've got a way with explaining things. I bought the same kit you did for turning off an airbag light (after replacing accident airbag) on an e46 m3. My problem is, I don't have a laptop with XP on it. If I install it on a Window's 7 laptop will that feature be gone?

To be honest, this whole car software stuff is so untransparent, if you are new, you dont understand anything at all, but you sir ! you are the first one that actually installs is like in a way i know what to do lol..
Question, you selected OBD as installing interface, but I want to install OBD and ADS at the same time, is this possible ?

Bro I followed all your steps but I don’t see F3 as E46. There is no option to select E46 model? What should I do?

The window at 7:29 didn't come up after plugging in the cable. What is that window (couldn't see the top). How to pull up that window?
After selecting UK rectification programs during install, my car's ECU reset itself to UK's config - now my left & right side door & mirror controls have switched places.

installed on Windows 10 and all functions worked, I then installed on XP Professional 32 bit and had problems. What vendor's software are you referring to?

When I attempt to run a job for frm module on tools32, it gives me error ecu service not supported. Any ideas as why it states that error?
thanks for the tutorial. i got mine working after watching ur vid. but recently i added a usb cam and the cable failed after that. luckily i just needed to remove and reinstall the usb-serial driver and it worked again. ps. seems the xpmode virtual machine needs to be restarted also.

Do you know if the INPA will clear the "driver restraint system fault" code? I was able to clear the check engine light with inpa, but the driver restraint system fault code is still there....

Hi, I have INPA 5.0.6 installed on a Win 7 OS, and I can't figure out why my engine N63 is not listed under option F6.
The car is a 2009 X6 4.4l N63 engine.
I am having an error code on my pc. a liitle window pos up an EDIAS ERROR. Apii Result text: error #95 to fix that error

Hi mate. I have a 2011 E90. The head unit has bluetooth enabled and has the USB port on the back of the unit. How do I code it so that the USB option shows up on the HU to enable me to stream music from my iphone or USB drive?

Hello, I would like to start off by saying your video is awesome on how to setup INPA software, very detailed and clear. However, like you also mentioned, I bought my software with the cable itself. The software looks similar, but doesn't look exactly like the software you are describing. There is a driver folder and three other programs that doesn't state (1-3 steps) and I don't see the next folders to open when I open either of the three other programs. Long story short. Can you give me the directory towards the exact link where you downloaded your software, this way I can follow along with you as I would see exactly what you see when I open folders. Thanks man I would REALLY appreciate this. And great tutorial.

Hi...I know this is an old video, but I hope you're still paying attention to it. I'm trying to install this following your steps. First, the .lzh file couldn't be found. I found all of them in the archives folder and copied and pasted them to the root C Drive, but it still needed one just called inpa.lzh, so I renamed the one that said INPA_CNFG.LZH, or something like that to just INPA.LZH. It installed the first step after that, so I went to step 2 and now, I'm getting a run-time error '76' Path not found. What else do I need to do to clear this error? Thanks Mike
Ty for the vid ! I did everything the same way I'm using a compaq w xp pro but I get an error when I try to turn on NCSexpert "machinetype not current etc" any ideas ?

I read several comments some people said there should be 7/8 pin or otherwise we have to solder them 7 and 8 pin together. I dont know its very confusing. i have the error that say the file api.dll isn't on the pc. This error is in the final step when i have to run INPA(_.IPO)
