- This is a fairly uncommon MRE from the Russian Federation. Usually their rations are huge and contain all the food a soldier needs for a full day. This much smaller kit only provides a single meal which should sustain someone for an 8 hour period. For that reason this is more like an American Meal Ready To Eat than most other Russian military ration offerings.
