220mg caffeine. you willbe wired. 1 - 12oz. can mt dew has 54mg, the last time i did that much mt dew was when haitia blew up in oct 94. lived off mt dew that weekend as we prepped deploying 2000 class lcu's. some was the caffeine, a lot was the sugars.

The sound effects while squeezing the energy gel was amusing. I was like, did I just hear what I thought I heard....so I had to rewind...yep that's what it was. Great review.

I did a review on the MORE a while back, but mine was the "cold weather" version. Not bad. Basically just a bunch of gas station snacks you might grab on a road trip. It does seem a bit better overall than the hot weather one though.

Never had a MORE. I wonder if the energy gel could be mixed with the beverage base to give it a bit more flavor and kick and also to tone down the taste/texture of the gel? Rock on!

I do like these MOREs, I wish we could get fresh ones in the UK. they'd be great to keep in the car for an impromptu hike.

Great video as normal! Take that grape drink mix (or whatever flavor you want) and add some of the powder to the cranberries. Dump some of the powder into the bag of cranberries and shake it up. Turns them into something special like Skittles. Keep up the good work and review a foreign ration again. I love seeing what is in them.

Brother I think you have one of the best ration channel out there and it’s always been under appreciated. I know you had to have taken some sort of hit when you made the new channels to organize everything better which I think is a smart choice in the long run. I’m a business development director with a lot of experience working with RUclips channels among other content creators. I have a lot of proven success in marketing channels like your and generally just optimizing them to get the best long term viewership and monetization. I’d be ecstatic about working with you to help the channel - because I really believe you could be one of the highest watched/subbed channels with a few relatively simple changes. I really think in time this channel could do similarly as well to Steve.

I have quite a few MRE entrees and sides that I bought for hiking excursions that have to be at least 15 years old. They've just been sitting in my closet for years, untouched, but I remain hesitant to throw them out. While they may not be the most appetizing things, I have to figure they'd be better than nothing once the zombies start roaming about.

I could see these being mixed in with military MREs or supplemented by whatever salvaged/scavenged food is available locally; the complaint about the food being bland sounds more like they designed it to be as palatable to as many kinds of people as possible (with whatever dietary requirements they may have) as well as being as easy to stomach for people who might be at their weakest (mentally and medically). It would be really bad to trigger an allergy or other medical condition for the sake of giving food more taste (something easily fixed where its served).

I’ve always considered the sweet potato grape smoothies and being an infants food, I know if I was eating these when things get bad I would be saving these to give to mothers to make sure their babies have plenty of food to eat.

Great vid man! I have a whole case of Norwegian Arctic Field Rations heading my way from Norway. We shall see if customs wrecks them or not. It looks like all 24 menus are unique; there are 7 for breakfast, and a couple of those appear to have main dish repeats, but the side differ. The 17 lunch/dinner menus are totally unique. Gonna be neat working through them all! Take care!
