  • Let's delve into the world of emergency preparedness with an APack Ready Meal from 2011. The Macaroni and Beef in Sauce menu might sound unusual, but perhaps it's AmeriQual's take on the familiar Chili Mac found in a Military MRE. Despite its age, the meal kit is remarkably well-preserved. Tailored for the commercial market as survival food packs, these meals have become popular among preppers looking for dependable and long-lasting provisions. Now, it's time to get a taste of this Civilian Meal Ready to Eat!

Could you try the current production rations from Apack? Would be more useful for people wanting safe, fresh rations for emergency situations.

Good review video. I’d get tired of that menu too quickly but good video buddy.

I ate some some of those that were distributed where I lived back in 2008 or 2009. I had the spaghetti, the chicken a la king, and the beef stew (might have been a vegetable soup with beef, can't remember) . All of it was pretty tasty. The spaghetti was especially good.

I've got a 2019 dated case of these and they've been a bust so far. They don't include a saline/water pack and the FRH's are defective, at least the ones I tried. It seems they are mostly low-sodium entrees. Taste seems closer to Humanitarian rations. Looks like you got better ones from 2011 though! Great video as always.

I get brand new 2024 dated at the commissary at Ft Meade MD. $150 per case and they have individual rations also.

Nice review. These look like really decent emergency meals. Army Navy Outdoors has a really great deal on A Pack emergency rations as long as you don't live in communist Canada.

The product that company is selling is low sodium, the FRH doesn't work. Only includes the entree and some type of baby food smoothie.
      Not good.

      Edit
Includes a horrible protein type bar.

@86AW11 I hear you and agree. Who the hell would make a drunk out of a sweet potato? All I'm saying is it's a decent price for what you get. In Canada you cannot even ship those over and what you can get here is way overpriced.

Well, you can always move to another country.
For the money a TOTM is a pretty good ration.
I can get them at the base commissary for under 5.00
My free MRE days are years behind me.

the company had to measure out the water for people in the military..... that is extremely sad.....

An emergency ration meant foe civilian disasters. Not regular military use.
