It's like Coca-Cola from America🇺🇸 and Mexico🇲🇽 Mexico's Coca-Cola uses natural cane sugar from sugarcanes and so it tastes very sweet like candy. America's Coca-Cola uses artificial sugars, and it makes it taste very different!
@@hassanbeydoun2460 I see what you're getting at, but high fructose corn syrup is not an artificial sugar by most people's definition. It's basically just corn syrup that was modified to contain 55% fructose and 45% glucose (in the case of soda). It's not all that different from table sugar (sucrose) other than that it's a mix of "simple" monosaccharides with slightly more fructose, whereas sucrose is a polysaccharide that's 50/50 fructose/glucose. Artificial sweeteners are entirely man-made and tend to be extremely sweet and low in calories. But your point stands. By the way, European Coke is also made with normal sugar instead of corn syrup. I find that it has a much deeper and more complex taste compared to American coke.

Great review! This ration was one of our best sellers in the US.....until the USDA literally showed up on our doorstep and shut us down (meat imports). We are still allowed to ship the large Russian vegetarian rations. My wife (Nina) and I enjoy your channel.
That explains a lot. I've been searching for one to try but I can by four American MREs for what one Russian MRE is going for. Can't bring myself to spend the money.

If it gets past CBP. The import of meat products is very tightly controlled. For some bizarre reason it's legal to import pork from England and Northern Ireland, but not from Scotland and Wales.
@@steven-k. That's everywhere in the world. Food imports are dealt up by region or a company rather than a country in general.
@@cianakril No they're not, give me an example. Canada for example bans all meat imports, except from the US and as allowed under the quotas in free trade agreements. It's not practical to ban it regionally, because there's no way of identifying the region and companies can simply change their name. That's why the US restriction on imports from the UK is so bizarre, it's impossible to determine at a POE which part of the UK it came from.
