But still using my customized maya 2019. scripts hotkeys etc.
I agree 100% with all of your suggestions. However, these are all problems that I've learned to live with. The one single, major problem that I can't live with is the lack of proper snapping in Blender. And yes, I know there are addons like cad transform that try to bring this functionality, but they just don't work 100% of the time.

You can hotkey it from the search menu. I know that's not super fast but its doable. If you want it in edit mode, make sure you're in edit mode when you hotkey it (same for object mode)

Thanks for the support, and no, there’s just too many layers in the process, plus I would have to make several individual proposals on RCS. And even making it to the final step where someone shows the new code to the developers is not a guarantee. Very small changes have a better chance of making it into blender but most of these ideas aren’t as small as they seem and some. I think the developers even call pre-selection highlighting an Antifeature (basically means they don’t want it).

pre-selection highlighting and a good loop creation tool are the two things I miss the most from working in Modo
Being able to insert edges on face loop selections was nice.

Some times I miss some featured Modo give me :( Like a Action Center and Fallow
Ahh yess, super powerful. I remember them. I miss the Workplane and putting it wherever I wanted.
@@ArmoredColony ah sometimes I really miss the worlplane. Fluent Power Trip has something like it for Blender that i don't mind at all.
Regarding inserting of loops, polyquilt has a feature thats close to what you suggest.
