a straight bottle might be hard since it would just slip off 😭 but maybe you could add a chain of thread coming from the bottom in a criss cross manner to prevent the bottle from sliding out

Probably the weight distribution? If the holder sits too low and the top of the bottle is heavier, it'll start tipping. I'd make it wider to sit somewhere in the top 1/3rd
