Edit: I say that scene is better, only due to the fact that it’s showing Peter’s growth, and how he’s finally spider-man. This scene is still phenomenal, I still love it, but I find myself going back to the NWH scene more than this,

I'm going to miss Andrew. The version of Peter Parker/Spiderman he played really hit home for me. Back in high school I remember what it was like being a shy introvert. Keeping to myself and just doing fun stuff like this, dreaming about the girls that I liked. It was simple. When the movie came out, this scene filled me up with so much nostalgia. Thanks Andrew for the memories and I would have loved to see TASM3!

I watched this film back in 2012... Spidey is my favourite superhero and 'Til Kingdom Come is one of my favourite Coldplay songs... Imagine my reaction when this scene came on the screen. It was perfect.

I love this Spiderman movie.
God damn this scene, I'm a huge Coldplay fan and this song is perfect for the scene, it may not be the most epic or action packed scenes, not even necessarily amazingly written, Marc Webb perfectly illustrated this scene. I can relate so much it's uncanny. Thanks Andrew. Why they are rebooting is completely unknown to me.

Marc Webb is a phenomenal music video director, so I’m not surprised that he did as great of a job.
With that said, this has always reminded me of an American Eagle commercial, which is actually kind of distracting but whatever.

Came here right after watching No Way Home in theatre. This scene lives rent-free in my mind since I first saw it in 2012, when I was 16 and had just fallen in love for the first time. While I grew up with Tobey's Spider-Man, Andrew's version of Peter Parker always had a special place in my heart and I love the first movie of his trilogy dearly - this scene in particular: the way the music syncs with the scene, Peter's joy, the awkward flirting. I miss this film and the time in my life I connect it with in some strange way, and at the same time, I'm happy that tonight I got to see Andrew say goodbye to this role for good. Let's hope they let Spider-Man rest now, at least for a few years.
This scene and Peter in Gwen's room offering her flowers are my favourite scenes . I am fangirl of romantic movies , but these sequences were so adorable .

Haters gonna hate but this was a pretty awesome Spider-Man movie and I love scenes like this where the hero is actually enjoying life instead of always brooding about "oh, my powers are damaging my life yada yada". Batman and Spider-Man is the only one allowed to do that because it works for their stories so I'd wish to see more of this side of superheroes in movies, Superman particularly

i dont think people realise that this spiderman was realistic and they always say tobey maguire was the better spiderman cus it fit the storyline of spiderman but then if andre garfield was in that storyline with the amazing spiderman, they would have been criticised for having similar storylines with a reboot cast so having more realistic to modern day people and a change could be seen as better

Great comment! I think the personal relationship of Peter and Gwen was so much more developed in both TASM films. It really hurt, to see them kill Gwen off. She was one of my favorite characters in all of the films about Spidey. RIP Gwen!

This is by far my favorite scene of the ENTIRE spider-man series including, the Toby Maguire and Tom Holland series. I have watched the movies like a billion times. And this scene just really stuck out to me, and now I love this song and literally listen to this song every-day. I am a huge Marvel geek and have loved spider-man since I was 3. But I'm not like most girls who love him just because hes hot (I mean he is) but, I fell in love with spider-man because he is (in my opinion) the best super hero in the MCU, I have read every single spider-man comic book ever written. And don't get me wrong, I absolutly love the Tom Holland series, but the Andrew Garfield series will always be my favorite. Thank u Andrew Garfield for the amazing acting, I will never forget u or this amazing scene.

I've always loved this scene and choice of song because it feels somewhat unexpected: I feel like typically scenes like this would feature louder, more upbeat music, but going with a song as gentle and beautiful as Til Kingdom Come makes this moment more impactful, memorable and heartfelt. Just so beautiful
