Charlie day Luigi was a stand out and didn’t get enough screen time, I would love to see him get his own film
I saw The Super Mario Bros. Movie yesterday and I enjoyed seeing the film.
Charlie Day as Luigi was perfect.
It would be good to see Charlie Day reprise his role as Luigi for his own Luigi's Mansion film.

I think a movie like this could definitely flesh out Luigi as a character a lot more. He could have a well developed character arc about stepping into the spotlight and overcoming his fears. I'd also like to see the events before Luigis mansion and give us a little more context about how Luigi won the mansion and all the things leading up to the movie.

I think this could work better after a super Mario bros 2 movie where Bowser gets released, and then Luigi gets his Luigi's mansion movie and at the end it could be revealed that king boo was instructed to trap the Mario bros. By Bowser. This makes sense for illumination too since they had despicable me, then despicable me 2 before doing their minions side movie
I would love to see King Boo in his Luigi’s Mansion appearance in a Luigi’s Mansion movie. Except not in his appearance from the original Luigi’s Mansion game for the GameCube, I'm referring to his appearances in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Luigi’s Mansion 3.
I would think that the power of the full moon activates the gem on its crown to transform the King Boo to look like the Luigi’s Mansion King Boo.

What I found VERY interesting, was how there weren't ANY Boo enemies in the movie, especially in the scene with Luigi in the dark lands. If they were really making a Luigis mansion reference (Which seemed very likely) they easily could've implemented them in that scene, but just...didn't. Obviously they might've excluded them out for any reason just because, but the FACT that they included King Boo in the wedding scene (Even if it was merely a small cameo) is saying something! It's like they are deliberately excluding the Boos out because they know they will play a much bigger role in a Luigis Mansion movie.
Speaking of the wedding scene, I was a teeny disappointed that Luigi and King Boo never interacted, (Even for a tiny bit) just for a small reference once he got free. King Boo kinda just disappeared, which is also saying something!

There definitely setting up a Luigi’s mansion movie just alone with that small cameo I bet I mean all the signs are right there they could easily use that to explain the story if a Luigi’s mansion movie ever gets made
The sequel to the Mario Movie could have a post credit scene where after the grand adventure Mario and friends just had, Mario and Luigi are at home relaxing, they hear a knock on the door and check to see who it is. It's no one and look down to find a fancy letter. They read aloud the letter, finding out that they've been awarded a mansion for saving the Mushroom Kingdom again, leading to a Luigi's Mansion Movie
I think we can all assume that it would take elements from all 3 of the games(So it can be for everyone) like the Mario movie. Imagine the plot would go around the lines of Mario gets in the mail that he got a mansion for being the hero and decided that him and Luigi should check it out(Luigi being very skeptical about it). When they get there, the mansion looks amazing and are greeted by a woman named Hellen Gravely(Setting off red flags for Luigi) who gives them a tour of the place. Once the tours done the bros. talk it out Luigi telling Mario that is obviously a scam and that they should leave. But Gravely then said, "If you're unsure you can stay the night" with Mario giving Luigi Puppy eyes to which he eventually caved in.
I would love to see Professor E. Gadd to appear in the Luigi’s Mansion Movie especially the ghosts, King Boo, Toad, and Princess Peach! Plus they could add new characters to the series to tell a good story of Luigi saving his brother Mario from King Boo. Then King Boo is stuck inside a container or a painting at the end of the movie!
Wish we got to see Luigi’s reaction more in the movie. All of this stuff comes out of nowhere and he’s not even phased about the haunted mansion, graveyard, or helping Mario defeat Bowser. I hope in the second film they get to re-explore the “dark lands” since it barely got enough screen time.

I think a gem explanation would work for why Luigi’s Mansion King Boo looks more demonic than the one in the film. All other appearances don’t include the gem on his crown, and in those versions he looks like a normal boo. The one in the film just wore his basic crown. Could be they have a plot where he steals a dark gem which he adds to his crown which alters his appearance and grants him dark magic to control other ghosts like in Luigi’s Mansion 3.
Maybe they could combine luigi's mansion 1 and 2 together into 1 movie with the dark moon being one of the plot points but also luigi winning a new mansion.
If an Animated Movie based on this Mario Game Does Happen i would love to see Sam Raimi Direct the Film.

In the original game, the Toad’s arrived looking for Mario but then they are seperated so maybe Luigi finds them and only brings them to the Foyer so they are together. Since they decide not to go to E.Gadd’s lab until the blackout happens

Honestly, I think Daisy should be introduced in a sequel, and in some ways, she doesn't fit in a Luigi's Mansion movie (unless a Luigi's Mansion sequel). In the first one, I prefer it to be just Luigi, E. Gadd and Toad (even if the latter has little participation)

That dog from the Mario Movie movie..."got hurt", so to speak, and his spirit (polterpup) follows Luigi to the mushroom kingdom. Only to find himself lost in the valley where the mansion appears.
He sees Luigi looking for Mario and tries to get his attention throughout the whole movie.
PolterPup would be a great addition in this film and if it would be made I think the Pup would play a good side role
YES! I would love to see a movie of Luigi’s mansion and yes like everyone else I want it based on the GameCube original and that movie would be the very first time we actually hear professor E Gadd actually fluently talking and also the same thing for the Portrait ghosts too!
Honestly Luigi's Mansion seems like a no-brainer of a film. All you need to do is take a Ghostbusters script and change everything to Mario characters and you're set!
Personally i think it would make sense if it came out Halloween next year, not this year, not only because the first movie just came out and i feel like for something that takes so much CGI to make that takes time to render, making it come out next Halloween would make it a bit rushed, and also because if it came out this Halloween it would overlap with the Five Night's at Freddy's Movie, which people who play games might also want to watch, and people who like games are like half of the Mario Movie's audience.

I'm not opposed to a Luigi's Mansion movie, but there's one issue: how would King Boo get the purple gem that would sit in his crown? I think that he'd find it in the post credit scene for the next Super Mario Bros Movie.

I think the reason King boo would be the next villain, is after king bombom and Bowser's defeat, their army would suffer a leader ship vacuum, having King boo get control of the dark lands and using the POWER OF A Crystal on his Crown, plots to take over the world of the living, BUT First, he has to take out the one's that beat his old partner, because since Bowser was the most powerful leader, he has to take out the heros FIRST and then conquer the world second, so he sends out a letter to king Kong, Toad, princess Peach, and MARIO AND LUIGI, saying that they won something that they wanted for awhile, he gets donkey Kong first, Toad and peach second, then MARIO third, and he puts them in prison walls of wood, and rooms of PRECIOUS OILS, a screaming painting of each, Luigi goes there, last one to arrive, but before he can be caught he's saved by Professor Elvin Gadd, or E-gadd, he tells Luigi whats happing and trains him to be a Paranormal Hunter! not knowing where E-gadd is from or why, but he's a BIG help in finding Luigi's long lost friends, and hunter of the PARANORMAL.

I hate to say it but I reckon Toad will be in it to help because Nintendo loved including Toads in the Mario movie so they will do it again. Also it gives Toad himself character development with his own inevitable Captain Toad transformation being braver for adventure.

I would also like a Luigi Mansion Movie (based on the series, not just the 1st game) BUT I have a problem, will it be too similar to the origin of the game? I understand that this movie idea is hype, I like the fact that Mario’s movie was a movie especially for us Mario fans, but people say that the movie not trying enough things are right. Personally, I prefer to see this game adaptation as a series made with 3-4 episodes of 15min each, in order to create a great transition to the teased sequel in the movie.

Darkness falls over the mushroom kingdom. There is a huge earthquake destroying the city as a haunted looking building rises up from the rubble of the land. We see Mario, Princess Peach and all the toads scared and locked away in a dark dudgeon things appear hopeless.
Screen fades to black followed by the the sound of whistling a familiar tune...
The image of a pair of white hands with green sleeves picks up a metal flashlight but we don't see his face...
The Donkey Kong crew are all captured by fast moving white ghosts...
We see an old man with one tooth and weird glasses working on something in a lab...
The image of a round ghost with a crown on his head facing away from the camera is overlooking the remains of the mushroom kingdom.
The screen fades to black again and by the light of a flashlight we see a red vacuum cleaner laying abandoned on the ground.

Yeeaahhh...... no. I think this should be a Luigi solo adventure trying to save Mario, not the mushroom kingdon, nor princess peach or Donkey kong, just Mario only.
I think you would need toad at least so Luigi isn't just talking to himself the whole time it is a movie after all

Making Luigi the "Damsel in distress" was a dumb idea.
And no, it's not that I think Peach should have been the one who was kidnapped but because it doesn't fit his character traits at all.
He is more innocent and easily scared than Mario is, sure but he is no quitter and would do anything for his brother as well.
To be fair he does redeem himself in the ending, but still.
The movíe should have been about him making his way through Bowser's kingdom and playing it smart not too confront the koopas directly.
Not about getting captured by Shy-guys in the first act.
For me Luigi NEEDS his own movie before a Mario movie 2 because Charlie Day was amazing but was not in the movie enough
