**NYCT Employees (Past, Present, Future) - "Thank you for your service to NYC."
I worked the N/W/Q for years out of Astoria Ditmars. One of the best lines to work in the system.
Thanks for sharing and Thank you for your service to NYC 🗽🏆🫡
R68/A on Brighton local may disagree
Speaking of which, do I have to go to school to get a MTA Job? I really wanna become a(n) Train Operator
@@146_ChinoMexicano search it up.
Ah yes, the N train, always transferred at Queensboro for it. Great line!!
Great ride, really enjoy the night trains! Hope you make more of these, especially the J line.
The ride in the beginning is so beautiful
Beautiful scenery at night in Astoria and Long Island city 😎
Long Island city is ruined by those tall ugly buildings
Best nighttime video yet!!
Looking forward to your Bronx to Brooklyn 5 train video!
Or the 2 train from Bronx to Brooklyn
am too, mainly from train 2 Wakefield 241st to flatbush av
@@zinhoooo that's my next comment after the Bronx to Brooklyn 5 train.
Since the M trains are returning back to the queen blvd line can you do a M train from forest hills to metropolitan avenue🟠
I wish the F and M would permanently swap to reduce congestion on the E train 🥲
@@ratuldeoun7228/ Why's that?
@@146_ChinoMexicano The E trains always gets packed during peak rush hour since more people get off in Lexington Avenue/53 Street. So if the F Express train got permanently connected back to the 53 St route, that would put less congestion on the E trains. The M Local train would be better for the 63 Street route since not as many people get off over at Lexington Avenue/63 Street. Today was the first day the F Express train went back to the 63 Street route and E trains were packed more than usual and it wasn't even a school day so imagine starting tomorrow when there is school how packed the E trains are going to get.
Try to do an R160 M Train with the Siemens motor!
@@ratuldeoun7228no. People need to use the M more. The F is needed on 63rd and Roosevelt Island. Surveys were done.
Man, I love that 49th street station.
Yeah me too but not enough to wonder why the EXPRESS N train stops there when there's 2 locals
These videos are so awesome! Thank you so much for continuing to post these videos.

Great as always! Took both lines to my old high school John Dewey High School at Bay 50th Street Station. Back in the 70's It was the B train that ran on the West End Line and the N line last stop in Manhattan was 57th street 7th Avenue. The RR back then went to Astoria Ditmars Blvd. You may have to another video with N train from Ditmars Blvd via Sea beach line the original route. Again Excellent!!!

World class train infrastructure nice video Kagiso from South Africa Johannesburg ❤
My fav part is wen trains switch tracks and wen the train goes over crossed tracks the do. Da dom da do sound is rad and wen it makes sharp turns are awesome wen u hear the stretching sound I don't know I like watching local train service videos rather than Express for some reason 😎😎

I grew up near the Astoria line 36 ave station. lived there 1951-1971. as a kid it was all Standards and D types. Brighton Local, West End Express . in late 1960 saw the first olive Green R-27’s. by the later part of 1964 the R-32’s. trains got new letters with new cars : QT QB T. By summer 65 all of the old cars were gone.

Excellent Videos Keep It Going With All Subway Lines 💯
13:55, I always wondered how far away the N/W train had to be when the R had to merge into the 60th Street tunnel. Now I know. I hope one day there will be footage of the R waiting for the N/W merge.
I’d say roughly 900-1000 feet. Grade and prior timed red signals accounted for.
@@Metsfan7232 Thanks. I was expecting it to be a lot closer. Similar to the distance where the F has to wait for the E at the express merge near 36th Street.
"This is a Manhattan bound N, local train. The next stop is Queensborough Plaza. Stand clear of the closing doors, please."
Just after Queensboro Plaza, seeing the R train as it merged just inside the tunnel was great. But no horn sounding near the end where the two welders surprised me.
🙃🫡
Two cool parts of this ride were at 14:19 the R merging underground while the N was still on the structure, and at 1:28:28 navigating across the entire plant at Coney Island. Really cool! 😎😎

Finally its out!💯🔥
This video is beyond cool! I love the night views and the view to 9th Ave. and again into Stillwell Ave. I grew up not far from the Coney Island Yard and as a kid used to be at the window contantly watching the trains going in and out of the yard, as well as the Sea Beach crossing through. Great memories!
wow I was just looking through your channel for this. Thanks!
I gotta say I love your videos, they are great for both watching and as background noise. For some reason I find the screeches of the subway relaxing
Quite interesting; Thanks for sharing. 🏆🫡♾️
This is fabulous! I'm like a kid again on the subway! I'm doing some research on Coney Island and I cam across your video! Love it!!

Cool video man! I just love the whole N train route!
Excellent job on this video Welcome To An Experience! Can you try to do this video again but with the N train on it's original route?

Wow, caught this one live!
Alot of stops in brooklyn on the d lol it's funny how close together they are too
I'm just really glad that all train service didn't get delayed, nor damaged, nor destroyed, nor people got injured in transit system due to 4.8 Magnitude Earthquake that struck NYC on Friday April 5th, 2024. I was so scared and had a heart attack that it shook the entire building i live at, and it might collapse. But glady, it didn't and i felt fine after that. On that day, that was my first time experiencing the earthquake, and I'll never forget about what happened on that day. Definitely the scariest moment I've been through 😨😰
Amazing video of the view
Excellent video!! I love this content. Can you do R211 A Train from Inwood to Far Rockaway and Far Rockaway to Inwood in the future?
Hell yes!!
At 10:08 the Ascending/descending structure was from the old 2nd Avenue EL IRT lines that traveled to/from Astoria and to Flushing. If you happen to exit from Queensborough Plaza, you can still see what remains.
Thanks for sharing 🫡
When u do the A to Far Rockaway or Rockaway Park u think u can do it with an R 211? That would be bananas😊
Amazing video and trip ^^.

I love your annotations. That's great. I got more details around DeKalb Ave of the tunnels. I know that you are maybe tired of hearing about it, but I love to know how tunnels are redone and rerouted, and what engineering is required to do this. Finally I have a pre 1950's track diagram of the DeKalb in Peter Dougherty's 2024 'Tracks of the New York City Subway'; highly, highly recommended. His new graphics blow my mind; they are in colour, with old, historical track diagrams also. He created in abundance. If you are reading this, Pete, then thanks so much. And thanks to WTAE. Aarre Peltomaa
His book is fantastic. Used the flip pages to track this reroute. His remarks are extremely informative. (Myrtle Ave line rider from 50's and 60's)
As you are probably aware, all crossings north of DeKalb were at grade. While I always wonder how much effect rebuild had above ground (street closures, existing buildings razed).
Thanks for sharing and shoutout to Peter Dougherty’s work on providing valuable insights into the subway system. 🏆🫡♾️
I like the N
(N)ice Friday night treat
15:00 thats a tough place to stop - you can barely hear the breaks crying
That one track worker has to do a better job not having his back on the train when it passes. Even when the train started moving and switching tracks, he barely had his footing. I really enjoyed the video.
Thanks for sharing. Shoutout to them for at least having on the vest & nothing crucial taking place; more alertness can be exercised in the future. 🫡
I see at the end it switched from the west end tracks back to the sea beach tracks
18:20 "A free transfer is also available to the F and Q trains by walking to the Lexington Av-63rd Street station and using OMNY or your Metrocard."
What was the emergency?
It was believed to be signal trouble.
Great video and great service you’re doing for us as always. Will you have to redo half the journey again since the N rerouted to the Coney Island D line?
He’ll have to do it over the entire way probably. I know he’s going to return to routes again in the future down the line, but I’m not gonna get ahead of myself there.
Truly a pleasure 🫡♾️

Guys I think we are going to see a trains pov in the city of New York!
At some point will you explain how you get this amazing access? By far the most interesting of the subway videos.
Maybe a MTA employee?
@@Postmail7495With access to A & B Divisions, terrminal-to-terminal? My guess is no because of the employment risk.
@@GeoffFox-CA no way they're not an MTA employee. They uploaded a sick video of the Church Ave terminal earlier as well. As for employment risk, there's another guy (ChristopherNY) who's on the construction side of things that posts videos all the time, and he does it from the work train.
Just wondering what the emergency was that caused the detour?
Signal trouble it’s believed.
R Train Merging Ahead good

I still miss the R160s on the N Q and W
May I ask? Time stamp of when the N Switched over the D line?
54:49 May I have your attention please?
Due to an unforeseen issue with the N Line at the 36th Avenue station, the N train is being diverted to the D line.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience as we work to resolve the issue.

At about 16:35 you start to see white stiff in the middle of the tracks? what is it?
Worker track carrying bags possibly.

can you do the culver express f train?
Nice, I wish it was on a Kawasaki R68A instead. That's the only fleet you guys haven't used yet.

I love the N train so much!!!!
I think diversions are interesting.
when are we going to get the e to jamaica center?

Sounds more like a 46 than a 68 to me.
Your videos are fantastic -- thanks for sharing! However, I'm amazed & disheartened to see all the TRASH within and besides the tracks, much of it BETWEEN stations. Why doesn't this stuff get picked up? -- it's a big draw for RATS! Also, the standing water in the slots (?) within the tracks. All of this is breeding grounds for disease-carrying animals and bacteria.

Do E to Jamaica ctr
When will you do a z train video
It should not exist
Ill never understand why the N train doesnt start express until 34 st causing that bottleneck wiith the the R & W when it could switch at 57th its stupid to me
Probably has some to do with wanting to keep tourist service at ‘Times Sq extended’, while (in past) could interfere with Q terminal at 57-7.
It's, apparently, very unconvenient, when a train suddenly change its route.
What train is this
N
The (N) via the (D) West End Line
R68
the rerouting ruined it. i was expecting 8th ave. MY CHILDHOOD😭😭
🫣🫡
Why is the N running in the D line?
Unexpected re-route
How fast does an express train go? Top speed.
Varies on the equipment and grade. The tube in this video is said to be the stretch where trains hit the top speeds in the system. (Nb & sb)
R68, or R68A?
R68
Guess: 5 train to bklyn college
Your little map at the beginning shows the expected route of the N train not the re-routing.
