I have never had to install os use an SD card for any of my laptops before and the one I just bought did not have any instructions regarding the SD card, which makes me feel really stupid and out of touch with the times 😆... This was a life saver since I have a major project due and my other laptop broke and I had to rush to get a new one. Thanks again!

I have the same sd card adapter and reader, found out my iPhone doesn’t let me copy to files, what is the best laptop to back my sd card to? It doesn’t have to be apple really need to get my photos and vids backed up from my sd card to anything atm.

Does the card count as additional storage space on your pc hard drive? for example if I purchase a 128GB micro SD card and put it into my hp laptop that maxes at 60 GB, could I continue to add content to the PC or would I have to move all my content to the SD card before adding anymore to the Pc

In a 4-in-1 reader the micro SD doesn't need an adapter, right ? Thank you.
How can you change the sdhc or whatever it's called when it ask you what you want to do? I used Window Player to open the sd card but i want to switch it to something else. Hope this makes sense

That's really interesting; are you sure your putting the SD card in the right way? I had that problem. It also may take a little bit of fumbling before getting it in...

mine was a bit dusty so i blew inside it. a bunch of the dust got stuck on the card too so i guess the card helped too

Was hoping you knew of some hack trick...
You should've done it more slow and on a white background so we could see the shape of the micro SD card (to see on which side goes in). I did like it says here and i had to force it inside as it didn't slide easily in. I heard a crack sound while doing that. So I think I managed the sd card. I hate this.

you'll need to format it, i already sent a huge comment based on formatting it, so try to find it or watch another youtube video, also formatting basically deleted all your files and will be hard to recover, so don't blindly format it.
adapters are usually 50 cents but sometimes the sd cards are 5 pounds

"You need to format the disk in drive D: before you can use it." is what pops up for me, any suggestions?
ok so you need to press windows icon and the letter "R" at the same time and type in the box that comes in "diskmgmt.msc" and click enter and the name of ur sd card will appear in the bottom of disk management or scroll down if you cant see it then click format and it will give some options: nfts, fats or refs and select one ( carefully select them though) and after you format it, then you can use your sd
also the reason why its asking to format is because it might have been used on a mobile phone or other device such as a console previously, so it asks to format when using on pc, also after using on pc and putting back on the original device, it might ask to formal again, formatting will basically delete all you files so be careful
sadly my laptop doesn't have that
