Hi Abby, on the SD card is a little slider with a lock and unlock symbol, slide this to the unlock position.

I tried putting the sd card in but it is too big and it doesn't show up. Do I need a new SD card?

🤦‍♂️ if you can open up the back of your laptop ditch the microSD card and get an SSD with more storage. It will be faster any ways. MicroSD cards should not be used for a storage drive on a laptop or desktop computer.
