thanks my friend for this guide. my comment is about chomebook devices without sdcard slot. i'm using a docking station connected to the usb of the chromebook. to follow the instructions in this video, i'm first pushing the sdcard in the slot of the docking station, and after that push the docking station in the usb of the chromebook.
@@octavio4514 FAT32 file system allows a maximum of upto 4GB File. You will have to reformat your micro SD Card with exFAT or NTFS file systems which take up bigger sizes.
Instead of complaining you can just do your own research and figure it out yourself. That type of energy isn’t necessary and if you walks around like I can only imagine the inner turmoil you have inside. Have a blessed day.

I feel so silly I wasn't pushing it in all the way. Just turning the chromebook on it's side made this easy to do this. Thank you!

No you can't change onboard storage. Only expand it through external storage via either portable HDD or microsdcard

Thx...really just wanted to know how to view an SD card that already has pics on it...thx tho🇺🇸👍💜
just plug it in then go to files, why would anyone need a tutorial?
Is it required to format sd card to use it on a chromebook?
No. If it's already formatted in FAat32 file system which is the default, then no need. Just plug in and use.
@@DignitedTV ok thanks bro

I put my micro sd 256gb but the Chromebook not recognize that, why?
Make sure it's formatted with FAT32 file system. You can do this one a windows pc.
Ex Fat? Not Fat32? So 4gb files of data but as many files as one likes? What about storing a downloaded video or movie?
Yes you can store as many files as the micro SD card's capacity, but a single file can be only as big as 4GB in size with FAT 32
@@DignitedTV is there a way to download a 6gb to a fat32 sd card on a chromebook?
