- Do you want to know how to format Micro SD Card on Windows 10 PC? I use a micro sd card on my phone, camera, dash cam, and even my Nintendo switch. To format the micro sd card, you may need a micro sd card reader. Now plug the micro sd card into the reader and in the USB slot on your PC. This will open up file explore, located the USB drive right click on the drive, go to format. I formatted the card to exfat for my nintendo switch. Click start and it will only take a second. Make sure to remove any data you want to save to another drive.

Bought a myioo mini for my son and found a video that says update the sd card it comes with to a high quantity,
I bought what I needed and when I copied the one sd card to the other just copy n paste.
When I put the new one in, it seemed fine until there were no roms showing, and then I found out u may have to format new sd card and now I’m on your video, not knowing which one to format it to correctly lol any chance u can leave me reply with simple

hey man ...I BOUGHT usb-hub FOR my Chromecast TV to extended storage , but looks like reads only FAT32 format ..so i have 256GB SD CARD, with WINDOW , u cant format it ...only works up 32GB ...do u know how?

It will only allow you to read but you can't write
there’s a little switch on the side of the adapter, you can flick it up to unlock it and down to lock it

You are talking to people that don't know how to do it, but zipping thru with instructions that assume computer skills. These videos usually are watched by people without those skills.
That's just like... your opinion. Instructions were clear and slow enough. Helped me out and i have computer skills. Could have figured it out but wanted a quick refresher.
Take a computer class then this was very basic information anyone should understand it

A laptop you can use a card reader without a usb, but if you have a proper pc you’ll need a usb card reader

@@janethesoldier yes it should be. If the sd card comes with a little black thing you slot it into. If you have a desktop you’ll need a usb one. Just make sure your laptop has a so card slot.
what is the reason to format this SD card? If I want to plug in a micro SD card into my computer download files to it for a motorcycle controller on an E bike. Do I need to format the card or just plug and play?

No matter how I tried this, could not get it to work on Windows 7 Professional. It will NOT format a 64g SD card for my Samsung digital camera. Same error message. Any suggestions? Interestingly, the digital camera WILL store the pictures to the SD card, I just can't transfer them to my PC because of the formatting issue. It shouldn't ever have to be this hard.
