CFMoto has already proven itself in some countries and also built good reputation. I also owned a 400cc from the brand and didn't have any issues with it. Build quality is nice, performance is awesome and it is cheap to maintain. The only thing that they should think about is to withstand the test of time, just like the Japanese brands did post WW2.

Just saw the clx700 and 300ss at my local Honda. It is buttoned up. Outshines everything else on the showroom floor. Really blew me away after test riding it.
A couple things I’ve found while researching cfmoto: 1) they offer a lot on the spec sheet. 2) the build quality of the 700cl-x sport seemed good except for the switches - they looked brittle. 3) some insurance didn’t recognize cfmoto vin numbers ( 2 months ago ) and so insurance to register might be a problem 3) past cfmoto products had a problem with pre-mature wear- replacement parts are cheap - but everyone was in China - none of the repair stories came from outside of China - so parts might be an issue. What I love the most about cfmoto - it will put pressure on some Japanese brands to offer more features- like how they refuse to put cruise control on motorcycles less than 10k.
Regarding the VIN, I registered an Alibaba special, and when I went to insure it, I just pointed the agent at the web page I bought it from. That gave them everything they needed, which is pretty much just horsepower, torque, and whether it has abs

I can confirm that the build quality of a 700CL-X Sport is really good and the switches are really good as well, the motorcycle school I'm at currently has them as learner motorcycles and they're so good - super easy to maneuver and according to the teachers they're low maintenance - I was looking to get one myself, however, I think I'll still go with a Kawasaki Z series or a Yamaha MT series (used) purely because they're cheaper second hand and I'm gonna drop my first bike at some point, so might as well drop something cheaper.
On paper I like a lot of it, but 29hp seems criminally underpowered even in that class. Peoples largest complaint about the Honda Cbr300r was that it was underpowered - and it actually made slightly more power than this. I race an rc390 and have owned both a cbr250r and a cbr300r (albeit no track time on either of those) and just feel like 29hp is too low for the class even at the price point.
Bingo!!! Honestly a App is nice but really not needed... Use your smart phone and be done with it.... Who cares about the color screen or display.. again does little for the bike... is is reliable and can i get parts for it? That should be the main concern not the color screen....Will it take the abuse of a daily rider of 150 miles a week for years? I just don't think it can be trusted "YET".
They are releasing a 450 SR today here in the Philippines. CF Moto is growing more and more here, parts are getting easier to access and there are a lot of service centers opening. It’s pretty much a good buy here since known brands are so much more expensive. But I understand in the US, the market for this is low, hence parts availability, service and all that stuff will be difficult. So I think that in the US before this brand clicks it’s going to take years.
I was looking into these bikes but honestly the mt-03 is a $500 more and you get 11 more HP and the Yamaha name. The larger bikes the 650 Adventure, 650nk, and 700cl-x are a very good deal and might be a good replacement for the 600cc - 700cc range of bikes. I think the 300Nk should be $500 cheaper to compete with the smaller bikes of the big 4.
Just make the bike RAW and keep it simple...they have to shave about $150 off the BOM to reach that $3500 price point... I don't know where they can cut, LCD screens are cheaper than old tech.... I am an engineer and I know that old displays can cost more than a LCD screen... they make millions of those screens in china.
@@johnjay6370 monochrome lcd in place of the full color tft display isn't cheaper?! Shoot tell ktm they're not saving money on the duke 200 screen over the 390s
@TNT VIDEOS that's not exactly a quality issue. Have you looked at the duke 390/svarpilen 401? I got a used 2017 2 years ago for $3100 with 3000 miles on it. I'm 6'1" and fit well otherwise a dual sport is the only tall cheap bike.
FINALLY a company says "let's not put a ridiculous super-size exhaust on this bike that we know EVERYONE is going to replace." Finally, someone put some thought into the rear brake lights and integrated rear turn signals instead of some stupid things that stick out a foot on each side. While this "new" company may take a while to become easier to find parts for.... at least it will force the other major players to step-up their game. Kawasaki already has the automatic transmission.... if they put that on a beginner bike they would dominate the market.
I recently bought a 300NK myself and have yet to find anything I don't like about it. Having not been on a bike of any kind in around 15 years it has been super easy to get on and get back in the swing of things. It is well built, has a ton of great features for the price, has just the right amount of nice smooth power and handles very well. I will agree that it's not the same as the bigger names, but it is perfect for what I bought it for. Planning on passing it down to my son when he is ready to get on two wheels and I am absolutely confident that he will love it just as much as I do. Definite cudos to CF-Moto.

I would personally spend the extra cash for a big name bike like Honda or Yamaha simply for the dealer network and parts if/when this thing breaks down.
This is probably great for entry/starter riders. Great price for it's value. Looks really good, like a cross between Yamaha rear, Honda or Ducati front, and clean side fairings. Not bad.
long term idk, mid term (around 10 years) is actually good. that brand has been being sold in europe and well, the rest of the world for years. they started with the nk650 and 400.
Bought the 300ss a month ago and loving it! Great for just getting around, to and from work and at 83mpg you can’t go wrong! However, trying to find a better exhaust system has been difficult, since they are so new to the US. But, give it time as with any new product.
Naah man its from from a ethics standpoint, almost every motorcycle made by them is a copy in terms of design elements and its a Chinese company so pretty sure their companion apps or even the bike would store info and send it to Bejing. This is obviously my take and it seems its a solid bike because Josh clearly has good things to say.
I am betting that they're not going to hold up to the competition over the long haul. There are plenty of Hondas, yamaha and suzuki still running fine with minimal work 30+ years later. I would pretty much guarantee these won't stand the test of time.
I mostly agree, but for $4000 as a 300c starter bike...if it last only 15K and introduced 2-3 people into riding...it did its job...and most have moved on to something else...at least in the American market. If you want or need the forever reliability because your are keeping it as a forever bike (how many actually do?)....then ninja/z 400... but your at $6K for it's forever-ness....and as yammie has said...why would you buy a Honda cbr500r for over $7K, when the ninja exists. I'm from LATAM and I've been eyeing/researching this bike since december of last year. It's a beautiful machine, but they're still working out some kinks. Even still, the value is excellent for what you get (bluetooth, app, leds, abs on both tires, eco and sport mode, fuel mileage, etc etc). Keep in mind, the 300sr (single-cylinder) won't beat out an R3 (twin-cylinder): there are videos online. I think the bike is geared more towards east asian and latin markets because there aren't a a lot of highways in those countries and traffic is bumper to bumper, as opposed to the US where you have expansive highways and 400 to 600ccs are better suited to those conditions. As a beginner bike though, I think it's perfect.
It will be interesting once they bring the 400cc over. I have to agree after test riding some. They feel lack luster with the under powered single thumper. Not useful for the US market.
Which LATAM Country? I'm curious about the availability "down south" for this and also dual sport or off road bikes. I have a place in 🇨🇷 and new/used dual sports from the Big 4 manufacturers are extremely expensive due to import taxes. But... I have seen very cheap Chinese bikes available at WalMart for ~$2500. I’ve put 700 miles on my 300nk and it’s been fantastic. Gets between 70-100 mpg. Doesn’t have a problem on highway. Definatly recommended for new riders and experienced riders that want a cheap commuter bike.
Got this bike about a week ago, put almost 400 miles on it, and as a first time rider here’s my thoughts so far- 1) Gas mileage is outstanding. Almost 400 miles and I’ve only put in about 4-5 gallons 2) Electronics are nice, but leave much to be desired. It’s nice I can see directions, but there’s no map. It’s nice I can see who’s calling, but I can answer or end it so I can get back to my music. Gonna end up getting a quad lock to mount my phone. It is nice I can use it to diagnose any problems and can check little things like gas and daily miles on it 3) Power band and brakes are great and easy to adapt to so I don’t mess myself up. Only thing that I would improve is that the clutch lever is a bit wobbly and I had to dramatically tighten up the throttle, but it’s a cheap bike so you get what you pay for 4) handling and suspension have not had any issues 5) I’ve hit speeds up to 90 mph so it can easily get you around 6) It looks great. I’m gonna end up removing the awful CFM sticker, but other than that the accent lines are fine. Only other thing I would do is change the green to red at some point All in all I’m happy with this bike as my first bike. I can definitely see myself growing out of it pretty quickly, but as an economic commuter it is great. I might be sending my data to Papa Pooh in China but let’s be honest, he’s already gotten my info from somewhere else probably.
Pooh don't care about your data, no value to them, they want your money for sure. However, The big 4 will now have to work a lot harder since Pooh is on their asses. I do know uncle Sam is very afraid of Pooh, therefore starting smear campign against the Pooh king.

I would love to see a review of each of the CF Moto bikes! Their price point is fantastic as long as you compare what else is available in the class in the price categories. If you compare them to other big brand bikes of the same CC, you’ll be left wanting for more. End state, ignore the CC and look at options in the price range, fantastic bang for your buck!
I remember being sceptical about the brand too but after looking at the MT650 for more than a year, I came to the conclusion it's price is unbeatable, so I took one. Result? More than happy with it. It works great 👍🏻 I recommend you try one for yourself.
Remember when Fortnine did a video on OEM oil testing and the Chinese bike was so dirty it broke the lab equipment they used? I don't think the big four need to worry about that.
I love how young Americans can simultaneously rail against civil injustice in the US while praising products from China made by child laborers and Uyghur slaves.
It's worth noting that that was a single Chinese brand, of which there are MANY. They pointed out in the video that CF Moto has been making off road toys for years, and there seems to be a pretty good reputation formed among owners of those machines.
Won't lie, if you're in the aussie market, these bikes are everywhere and there are a few dealers in most major cities that can service and repair and order parts.
As a CFmoto owner, because where I live it's a domestic bike and the imports from Japan at 4x the price of everywhere else... Don't buy it. I've had my 650GT for a little over a year, daily rider, 9,000kms. So, so, so many problems. The good: Designed by Kiska thanks to a KTM partnership. It has USB and 12v outputs. Comes with panniers. Continental ABS. J Juan brakes. The bad: Cylinder head assembly needed replacing at 5,500kms. The app is spyware (literally). Service intervals are short. Chain and sprockets both needed replacing every 4,000kms. Clutch center bearing needed replacing at 7,500kms. The dealership where I live is lazy and terrible. They don't ever fix a damn thing properly, warranty isn't worth anything. If Kawasaki, honda or Yamaha are a little more expensive than CFMoto where you live, then buy them. You get what you pay for in terms of quality. Don't be fooled by the gadgets they come with, remove the GPS tracker it comes with. Don't install the app.
I don't understand why the industry is in a position where some of the tech features of this bike has are impressive. The marginal cost for an IMU and Bluetooth tranceiver in the bike is about $10 retail, less than $5 wholesale. The marginal cost for the rest of the features the rider app enables is 0 - litterally 0. I don't care aobut most of the features the app has. TC, ABS, and throttle control on my Street Triple are just fine without an IMU. But when the bike already costs $11,000, why not? Ok, one good reason is that an analog tac and LCD spedo is aesthetically preferable to a TFT, but I'm sure they could figure out how to make the phone screen do all the work.
We should be doing everything we can to avoid Chinese products, especially for large purchases like vehicles, especially when there are great Japanese/European options for only slightly more
The problem is, even if you buy a European or Big Four bike, the odds are good that it'll have Chinese made parts, including engines, on them. For example, CFMOTO makes engines for KTM's 800 ADV bike; in fact, the factories are right across the street from each other in China.

I asked the number one question how do I get parts if it breaks, he told me parts are not a problem. Many of the parts come from Honda or Yamaha.
Everyone wants to compare them to the big 4 Japanese manufacturers and say "They won't be as reliable as my Honda". But that neglects the fact that there are more than just those 4 manufacturers. Its an attractive bike at a great price, if it's at least reliable as a comparable Italian or Euro bike its already leagues ahead of many manufacturers. Beyond that, reliability isn't the only thing people care about, sure if you want a set it and forget it bike that'll trundle along for decades, yeah you're better off with a Honda. But millions of people buy Ducatis, Aprillias, Triumphs, etc. because reliability isn't the only factor in purchasing a bike. With Suzuki dying off in North America, CFMoto could seriously become the "4th" of the big 4 if their bikes are as reliable as their ATVs which have already stood the test of time for 30 years.

Once again you guys are looking at MSRP but once you get into the motorcycle dealership you start getting all the hidden fees and all the BS. I’ve been looking at the bikes it can be drop shipped directly to my home and if you cannot unpack a motorcycle and put a front wheel on you probably shouldn’t be on a motorcycle. There’s no gouging year to license a thing there’s no added shipping charge etc. etc. the motorcycle industry is going to be in trouble because I think this is going to takeoff. Most of the people that I know that ride motorcycles unless it’s something catastrophic tend to work on their own bikes. The motor is always been if you’re gonna ride it you gotta be able to fix it. Most of the motorcycle designs that are on offer I’ve been around forever. Nothing that’s too mind-boggling some companies even have online tutorials on how to set your valves etc. etc. I know dealerships need to make money but I will give you an example I took your tire in and just slip it on the rim not to balance it or anything $30. This is at a dealership where I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars. I went home and bought a tire changer. MSRP means nothing nothing!
There's one thing I'd add. If it's too good to be true, then it probably is. Why do you think they can afford to make it so cheap, and with all the tech? The answer is: because they cut corners with the quality of components. I don't even mean in relation to performance, but longevity, reliability and safety. It's easy to throw a bike together that looks nice (which it does), and has all the blitz and bling, but one thing demos like this don't show, is how it ages over a number of years. Fast forward 2 years and 5,000 to 10,000 miles, how much corrosion is there, What parts have needed replaced? Do the electronics still function, is the app still supported? TLDR: if you can afford to sell your product 20% cheaper than your competitors, and with better tech in your product, it's because you have made cost saving and quality reducing decisions. That money has to be saved somewhere.
The cost cutting was in labor. These 300SRs are old news. They're reliable enough, plus look too good and priced too cheap to basically threaten the big 4's asian grip on the 150cc sportbike segment. Yes, 150cc - they're so cheap their 300cc is nigh on the same price as a Honda CB150R and a Yamaha R15.
Exactly. When will these cheap basterds who keep buying Chinese crap bikes realize that your giving your money to a garbage country, meanwhile your bike is going to be in a landfill within 10 years. It's a complete lose - lose scenario for the consumer and a win - win for the manufacturer. STOP SIMPING FOR CHEAP CHINESE PRODUCTS
No, the cost cutting is in the scale of economy + quality control. You can have both which result in Honda pricetag. Otherwise you end up with Italian stallion, which have neither and end up expensive anyway.
@@victoriazero8869 the economy of scale point can be applied to Royal Enfield too They sell a huge volume of bikes annually, and even they apparently can't make bikes quite this cheap.
@@Chambers_90 Which means CFmoto cut corner somewhere, and it's very likely quality control. China labor is no longer cheap in 2020s. CF Moto most likely cut corners by detuning the motor and thus allow less rigid standard of quality.

Ive had 2 Chinese vehicles. 1 was ok reliable 2nd was a POS. I would get either a Yam or a Honda for more or used for less. Also what you save is lost in resale value.
Idk if I'd risk it with a chinese bike... Korean maybe but chinese idk. China knows how to make something cheap look good when it isn't. We'll see how they hold up in time
Already I hear people complaining about the fact that it is not a race bike, and I have this to say, how many of us are actually gonna go to a track and race? Exactly this bike designed more for on road use which means it can handle roads that are not regularly maintained
@@miketran4289 That makes it even better. Your buying a "rebadged" ktm engine under a different name for cheaper. Also, certain engines are made in China and are sold under ktms name thanks to cf moto

@@ronaldgomez330 I would look for another bike tbh. That one from my experience isn't good to learn on, after you get on to a 300 or any other bike you'll start to understand why the throttle response on that bike isn't good for a new rider. Really good way to develop bad habits. Not saying 125s are a bad bike to start with, it's just that one in particular.
I’ll say it does look good. Will it hold together as long as a Royal Enfield or will they both disintegrate at about the same time? This bike seems like the Tik Tok of motorcycles with the app. So just accept sharing all your data for all your apps and files with China. Otherwise, it looks like we’re beginning to see Papa Yam’s recession series of bikes the people can still afford to buy.
The MT800 Touring is getting some traction here in Aus. I checked one out recently and they look pretty good. A mate is about to buy one and ride it to the Phillip Island Motogp (about 4000km round trip from Queensland) so I guess I’ll find out what he thinks soon. With the same motor as the ktm800 it should go ok, and at a bit over half the price of the ktm ($14,500 v $25k plus for the ktm) the value is there. If you’re old enough you may remember that we used to call anything coming out of Japan “Jap crap” and now they are the quality standard. The YN crew may think the same about Korean cars, which were pretty poor quality when they first came out, but now they make some of the best cars going around. China won’t be too far off that, but of course the price likely rise according. Keep up the good work guys 🏍✊✊✊
No reason at all to get this over a cbr300r. Why on earth would someone need a slipper clutch on a 300? I'll trade a slipper clutch, tft and a gps for Honda reliability any day and anyone considering this bike should as well.
I don't know the 300 but their mid cc bikes source the engines from KTM actually and they seem pretty reliable... It's time to broaden our horizons, Chinese bikes are actually pretty good
Well, you're automatically assuming this one is a piece of garbage. If it's even half way well made, some noob just starting off, may not have 5500, and to parents 4500 vs 5500 makes a lot of difference. The app is also a nanny control that many modern parents would pay money for. The slipper clutch is not what you buy this bike for. I'll never buy either, but here's all argument for either unless this proves unreliable.
@@FoByaH Yes, they are pretty good. The problem is that the small displacement market is already very competitive - why buy a KTM engine, inside a bike constructed in a chinese factory with chinese construction standards when you can pay almost the same price for a Japanese bike with a good pedigree? Not even mentioning the political aspect of buying from China. If these bikes were $1500 cheaper then they would be a good buy, but for $4,300 you can buy a great japanese bike new or a fantastic japanese bike used.
a local dealer just got these in a few months ago, and I was immediately impressed.....I am more of the 700 CL-X or Adventura type.....regardless....what you get for the money is bar none.....wish these came over before I purchased my Royal Enfield....NOT that I don't like my RE.....I just don't have any more room in my stable.....LOL
I was wondering when I'd see some CFMoto content here. The dealership down the street got a bunch in, and I admit to curiosity: they're inexpensive, but are they cheap?

Many friends owned and sell it already . why? buy it because it’s cheap in china (1627$),and it have apps good shape …sell it because compare with gsx 250 it’s not a good moto,it’s fast than gsx but the quality is not so good .especially when you own it over one year. so if I can chose it with R3 kawasaki 400 or KTM even Gsx 250,i wouldn’t choose CF

I owned a CF Moto 250NK for 12 months as my starter bike. Bang for buck was good, reliable and fun as well. Exhaust tone was awful and gearbox could have had a taller 6th gear but otherwise good. Also looking at newer models in the showroom it appears they’ve upped the quality since 2018.
We just passed 18 million excess deaths worldwide since the Chinese unleashed their humanized bat virus on the world. Maybe your girlfriend should think again about buying a Chinese bike.
They really studied the entry level market and I believe got jack pot. The private (non proprietary) cell phone connectivity is something younger generations (and for that I mean 40 and below; the segment all the other major players know; are having a hard time to attract) will gain to this manufacturer. Kudos to CFM. I know someone that has the same letters in the name and would likely will buy one if not for anything else, just because. Seriously tho. The connectivity and feedback from statistics and maintenance intervals all at your fingertips? Are you kidding? In a motorcycle that does not cost you $33K OTD? Bring it!
Hi yammie i am a beginner Rider i made my first "motorcycle" a put a 66cc 2 stroke engine on a bicycle and made it a "dirt bike"and i would like to share my story: I bought a motorized bicycle engine for 150 bucks and put it on a 300 dollar mountain bike it worked fine it was my baby it wasnt fast but it was loud because i removed the baffle from the exhaust it was FUN everyone looked at me when I was riding it and i had full gear Helmet gloves everything it was my daily but it was to good to be true i was riding it to school but I screwed up in the chain and the sprocket was off center the chain skiped the sproket hit the engine wall and it shatterd it than it the pieces hit the crankshaft and broke it the engine locked up and I draged my tire at 40 mph it wasnt fast but it feels fast because it was a deathtrap i bought a new crankshaft with more compression and put that one on the engine all by myself but a friend helped me make the gaskets it didnt run the engine had spark and fuel and compression but the damn thing wouldnt start and guess why the bigger crankshaft made the piston kiss the spark plug it was robbing spark so I went to the store bought a 1mm spacer put on the sparkplug and it fired right up after months trying . It ran for a week and broke down again :( now im just going to buy a 400cc ktm dirt bike in about 2 months or a suzuky im not sure wich one but it was a hell of a journey wish me luck Hey if you made it this far thanks for reading this is my story;)
What the hell is a motorized engine? A motor is electric. An engine uses a combustible fuel. Doubt I’d get on a machine built by someone that doesn’t know the difference.
Bought 1 and we love the bike. Only issue we have had is the chain stretched at less than 300 miles, but the dealer fixed it free of charge. My wife is a beginner and loves it!
More CFMoto please!!!! Love what this company is doing. Come in, undercut the competition. I don't care where it comes from, where they "stole" the design from, or some silly badging. Time will tell of reliability but CFMoto has a decent track record. Love that their coming in and knocking it out of the park and giving the consumer so much for their money. Look at their 700CL-X Sport... It's a $10,000-$11,000 bike from a big 4 brand. $7K from CFMoto. Love it love it love it. Things need to be inexpensive again!!
i personally wait for my CFMoto 450sr that i have preorder, to arrive in Cyprus around end October, beginning of November. It looks so good, the price is just perfect and the futures you get are more than anything else out there.
They just released the cfmoto 450sr here in the Philippines. 50hp, 270° crank, 168kg. This should dominate the beginner sportbike category here in the Philippines at the least.
The dealers will make sure to price this bike out of competition with used Japanese bikes. Sorry China,YOU LOSE. ( I already saw year old.brand new. Kaw Ninja 400's for sale for $4400 brand new this year)

Saw one in person and currently about to get a 300nk. Absolutely amazing looks and feels comfortable

I can say the switches are brittle .. they feel very refined and soft to the touch to be honest. Clutch is very tight on the wrist though
Screw the apps and high tech baubles. Think parts and service availability. Will it be as reliable as a Yamaha or Honda ???
No 😂
spoilers: nope
It's a POS Chinese bike. They will never compete with the Japanese!
Exactly I was thinking at $3500 even with less tech it'd sell far better.

My riding buddy has the 650 ,it seems like a Versys knock-off. It has some go for what it is. A great learner bike for a larger person
I’ve put 700 miles on my 300nk and it’s been fantastic. Gets between 70-100 mpg. Doesn’t have a problem on highway. Definatly recommended for new riders and experienced riders that want a cheap commuter bike.
Got this bike about a week ago, put almost 400 miles on it, and as a first time rider here’s my thoughts so far-
1) Gas mileage is outstanding. Almost 400 miles and I’ve only put in about 4-5 gallons
2) Electronics are nice, but leave much to be desired. It’s nice I can see directions, but there’s no map. It’s nice I can see who’s calling, but I can answer or end it so I can get back to my music. Gonna end up getting a quad lock to mount my phone. It is nice I can use it to diagnose any problems and can check little things like gas and daily miles on it
3) Power band and brakes are great and easy to adapt to so I don’t mess myself up. Only thing that I would improve is that the clutch lever is a bit wobbly and I had to dramatically tighten up the throttle, but it’s a cheap bike so you get what you pay for
4) handling and suspension have not had any issues
5) I’ve hit speeds up to 90 mph so it can easily get you around
6) It looks great. I’m gonna end up removing the awful CFM sticker, but other than that the accent lines are fine. Only other thing I would do is change the green to red at some point
All in all I’m happy with this bike as my first bike.
I’m about to get get one financed and pay 120 monthly, is it worth it?
How’s the bike doing now ? I’m thinking of potentially getting the 450ss here in california
My friend that I grew up in China with got one of these cfmoto sportsbike for 20k cny (3k usd) couple years ago and had 20000 miles on it. I was kinda surprised when he told me this bike is Chinese cus when I was a kid most of the Chinese motorcycles I saw looks like old design and I hardly ever seen a modern looking one, and this one looks kinda cool.
If you were able to you get like 20 bike like this and have a rider training company and community service club. The 300 & 400 are just great packages
Here in Europe, CF Moto Is actually pretty competitive, cheap, but actually nice - build quality Is Nice, tech is great, etc. Overall, noone knows, if they will last, but they seem to be JUST good enough.
He keeps talking about an app. I don't give a shit about an app unless it gives the bike 10 more hp. Doesn't give any more hp? I don't care then.

This Chinese Yammie Noob should scare the Original!
As a CFmoto owner, because where I live it's a domestic bike and the imports from Japan at 4x the price of everywhere else... Don't buy it. I've had my 650GT for a little over a year, daily rider, 9,000kms. So, so, so many problems.
The good:
Designed by Kiska thanks to a KTM partnership. It has USB and 12v outputs. Comes with panniers. Continental ABS. J Juan brakes.
The bad:
Cylinder head assembly needed replacing at 5,500kms.
I got a 700cl-x sport a couple months ago and love it. My previous bike was a 2001 r6.
Likes & dislikes? Any issues pop up? Your riding style?
@@markymarknj some Chinese parts is still better that the whole bike. Remember every mid/large Chinese companies are partly controlled by the Chinese gvt.

You two killing it on this tag team review👏
crap bike, weird review
@@pleasedontwatchthese9593 KTM and CFMoto share their 690 and 790 engines, a KTM enduro R makes the same power as the CLX-700 (74 HP) but weighs slightly less. Yes it has the performance edge, but the KTM will set you back $13499 CAD while a CLX-700 heritage is only $8299 CAD. For the over $5000 dollar difference I'll take the CFMoto.
If you want to price match instead of performance match the CLX-700 heritage is more comparable to the BMW 310 GS (Sticking with the Euro bikes) which is $8195 CAD making a whopping 34 HP to the CLX's 74 HP. CFMoto takes the cake here too.
Cut it which ever way you want, the CFMotos are a good deal.

Great looking bike at a great price. Hope they can bring their 650 class bikes here.
RUclips “Cfmoto 650NK”. They’re here.
@@victoriazero8869 the economy of scale point can be applied to Royal Enfield too
They sell a huge volume of bikes annually, and even they apparently can't make bikes quite this cheap.
@@Chambers_90 Which means CFmoto cut corner somewhere, and it's very likely quality control. China labor is no longer cheap in 2020s. CF Moto most likely cut corners by detuning the motor and thus allow less rigid standard of quality.

@@thomasbouvier3203 I rode the 700 and loved it, it's a perfect scrambler competitor. I just wish they put this TFT on it.
They just released the cfmoto 450sr here in the Philippines. 50hp, 270° crank, 168kg. This should dominate the beginner sportbike category here in the Philippines at the least.
The dealers will make sure to price this bike out of competition with used Japanese bikes.
