Hey yammie, you like that chinese bike??
Please do a highway test and maybe a cfmoto 450 vs ninja 650
🙏
Hopefully this will encourage the Big 4 to improve the aesthetics of their entry level sport bikes instead of making them look bad on purpose.
oh man this comment is super Gold
Well, Kawasaki made that ZX-4RR. Thats a 400cc i4. Honestly, ain't nobody making an entry level bike like that imo. That light trick is cool, but it's a novelty. That muffler is hideous, and that parallel twin just don't hit the same notes as that i4.
Hmmm the mt03 is better looking than the mt07-09 imo
@@ar-pxpWhat?The zx-4rr cost nearly 10 grand. It isnt a beginner bike, its a track bike. Like who has 10k to drop on a 400cc motorcycle, id definitely rather have this 450s, or buy a low mileage r6 for that price.
@@ar-pxp true but you usually wouldnt compare a beginner bike to a zx-4rr on a realistic way. no one is starting on a bike thats 11-13k dollars in price
its an amazing bike (one of my favorites rn in fact) but comparing it to way cheaper bikes just dont fit imo
It's nice that the big 4 are getting some more competition. I hope these bikes sell like hot cakes. I really do think a major reason people aren't getting into bikes is because they've gotten so damn expensive.
They will but will have no value on the second hand market here in europe
100% agreed cfmoto is going quite well right now and i hope they succeed. It has been a long time since we got solid bikes like this at the beginner market
@@rogerelwynjones1366 cuz they finally aren’t that expensive like brand bikes, here in poland that bike from review costs new less than rc125, ninja 125 or r125

I’ve owned this bike since April. LOVE it. The hype you just brought to it is going to be unreal. Dealerships probably aren’t going to be able to keep them on the showroom floor now. CFmoto needs to send you a check 🤣

Hands down Pants up the best sounding 400cc bike I've seen on the market
Better then the bmw g310r?
I have got mine last week in the UK as well, and so impressed with everything. I had a Duke390 2022, i tried the Ninja 400 2023 but nothing beats the package these guys offer. And saves me the tracker monthly subscription as well, as it has built in tracker. I have an RS660, but the CFMOTO is much better for daily commute. The Aprilia is now a weekend bike LOL.
@@azmaymi9237 Cant even compare. But in my opinion, the G310 is one of the worst options in the market for a smaller bike. And I'm sorry if you own one, i don't mean to say its a crap bike.. but compared to the others, i found it to be really inferior in pretty much everything.
Whats the difference with cfmoto 450SR here in asian market?

My first bike, Aprilia Pegaso Strada 650 (single cyl) from 2008 also had a massive single disc Brembo setup from factory too, and it's the best system on any 50hp bike I know. It's great to see that this style is getting back in fashion again, the brake feel of those Brembo systems feel like a fully fledged middleweight tier on a much smaller bike. It's great
This is a great honest video Yammie. I'm probably gonna check one of these bikes out. There's a couple dealers carrying CF Moto bikes in northern and southern California. Yes we get that made in China isn't always the best end product, but they can make great things when they want to. I've been waiting for them to make something note worthy for a motorbike, and maybe, just maybe CF Moto finally has something going. I like the look of the whole line up, especially this bike and the 650 adventure they make.
This is what I wanted the ZX4-RR to be, but that was too cost prohibitive.
I'm glad to see something like this do so well against all prejuduces
This is my first bike! Got it January this year and it's just super easy to use and fun to ride. ABS works really good too that time I was late with breaking 😅. Looks great and Im happy with all of it

I've been waiting for a 400-500cc 270° crank "adventure" bike for years! If Cfmoto makes this bike into an ADV, it will be a no brainer for me! I'd order one instantly

A while back there were rumors about a new line of ktm "490's", RC, Duke and Adventure models. It was to be a 270 parallel twin but they scrapped the project. I was really interested in the Adventure version. Wonder if this was the engine from that project. If CF do a true light weight adv biased towards off road, I'll retire my worn out old drz400 😊.
@@chrispekel5709are you in the states? Are benellis sold in states? I was looking at a Benelli 180 or 200 something in Colombia.
I have had this bike since it came out. I absolutely love it. I have been riding for 4 years, and have an MT-07 and 2 other bikes and love riding this thing. Cfmoto has been making side by side and motorcycles for a long time. This bike has been out for 2 years now in other countries and has been doing fantastic as their other motorcycles. Also can't beat the warranty. I have an exhaust and a DNA stage 2 intake and filter which opened it up. Just need to get a tune now. Way better than the other bikes in its class. I am glad you got to review it and hope you get to take it on the track and see what it can do against the Ninja 400.
Hey just wondering did this bike cause u any issues so far?
@@yourstruly5769 so far I have no issues at all. Running like a champ. I have over 4k miles on it now.
@@grampsaggyballs that’s wassup and did u look into any of the bike app features ? Like the navigation and stuff like that that. I’m looking to become a rider and wondering if this would be a good first and prolly only bike.
@yourstruly5769 the bike app is pretty cool. The bike comes with a GPS and a vibration alarm that goes to your phone. So the app lets you know where your bike is and if it was moved. Navigation works well on it. But on your bike screen, it is just by turn. Which is good for me. It tracks all your rides and tells you high speed and such. Then you can connect your helmet to your bike, but for some reason not my Ruroc. On the bike, you can control the songs playing on your helmet. Pretty cool all it can do. This could be the only bike you need. I'm not into the faster bike cause you can't legally use all the power on the streets. But with this, it is a blast whipping around the streets using all the power and shifting gears. Hope that helped. If any more questions, ask away.

I went through the exact same emotion when I test rode it back to back with a Ninja 400 & a Yamaha R3. How on earth can they make such an impressive motorcycle at such a price point. Absolutely impressive ride quality. It is rumored to be using a KTM engine which was part of a dropped KTM project though I haven’t been able to confirm that. Either way, what a lovely little ripper!

I think once I can afford it, this will be my next bike to get, looks sweet, and with that 270°crank sounds awesome 👍
I've been waiting for you to review this motorcycle. Got this for a track bike instead of the zx4rr. Saved thousands.
i owned a cfmoto bike, nk400 a naked motorcycle, parallel twin engine, and 215kg wet weight. my bike currently clocking @ 25000km without major issues and major maintenance. the nk 400 is adequate for city commuting and spirited riding, it carries its own weight really well for filtering, slow manuevers, track riding, and some casual rides on twisties. the bike is heavily based on ER-6N of kawasaki, well only based on my observations haha. the common downside i saw for cfmoto bikes is its resell value basically it doesn'tholds its value very well, but for the case for me that will keep this bike it will never be an issue. i am excited for the naked version of 450ss and a fully naked 800nk that will have an engine based on ofcourse ktm 790 haha.
anyway ride safe to us all
CFMOTO will give a hardtime to many brands. It's really impressive how much quality they can pack into a "budget" range motorbike. You got the idea with the CLX 700 Heritage, can't wait to see you reviewing the 800NK !
I got mine 800nk last week. I paid the full price in cash without even seeing a actual bike, $6500 here with the KTM790 motor, quick shifters, fully adjustable shocks, steering dampers and even CarPlay are all included with this price, I was like come on take my cash😂
After about 500miles on it, I d say if the duke790 came with the same price, I’ll probably still grab this one, it’s just so much more practical, comfortable and featured for a everyday commuting bike, compared to the 790.
Those KYB shocks aren’t as sporty as WPs on the KTM, but it does make riding on the street a lot more enjoyable, and the infotainment system with CarPlay is a huge huge plus if u don’t like phones hanging on the bar
@@AbstractRider Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I'm eagerly reading all those experiences for an in-depth understanding on how CFMoto is impacting the users

Honestly cfmoto is the brand that is most interesting to me right now, which is surprising since I definitely used to be very unwilling to give chinese motorcycles the time of day. The 700 CLX Sport is gorgeous, and the new 800NK seems amazing as a budget 790 Duke. Hope to see you do some more cfmoto content
The thing is, all manufacturers have had chinese parts all over their bikes for years...they just didn't tell anyone. I guess now there's decent quality full sized bikes being exported to the west it's really just an extension of that
the budget tag is questionable, because it's the first bike to feature wireless apple car play. thats more innovative that the bolt new grafics of most other brands this year...
The whole duke 790 is now built by CF moto so that shows that they can build good bikes

Great review! I’ve had my 2024 CFMOTO 450SRS for a month now. It’s my first bike and I absolutely love it! Granted it could use a little more torque, but as a beginner bike, there’s ample HP. It’s light, nimble, super easy to ride and very forgiving. Mine has traction control, single swing arm, fully adjustable suspension, slipper clutch and ABS. I cannot fault this bike. The only competition to this would be the upcoming Aprilia RS457, but it’ll have slightly less HP and a little heavier I believe.

Didn’t encounter any issue I really think CFMOTO did a Good job with this bike and really di extensive research to be a reliable bike 💯💯 Bought this because of the 270 degree crank has more character 🔥 Chinese bikes nowadays are really evolving.. More mileage to come with this bike
Thanks for sharing, do you still have the bike?
Been waiting for this video for a while.
Been waiting for this one.
I like it! Only thing I would be worried about is what aftermarket is available for it? Probably not much info on it and partially unknown reliability.
Aftermarket parts for this is plenty in aliexpress since it's been out in China and Asia for 2 years now. Even Carbon fiber and Carbon forged parts so it looks closer to the concept bike it was based off from
Wow, this seems to be the next big hitter ! We need the Japanese big 4 to step up their game !
They won’t. The market isn’t saturated enough for one model to correct the entire market.
I kinda want to see one turned into a full out race/track day bike and see what it can do. Hopefully it will get some aftermarket support if it gets popular enough.
Really considering getting this as a first bike. I’ve never ridden a motorcycle before, but I’m really ambitious to get started on the journey 😊🤘
I love my CFMOTO 450SS! I traded my RC 390 on it. 450SS is a great bike for me. I have videos on my channel with my 450SS if you want to check them out.
It's a bit more comfortable, I couldn't last 15 minutes on the RC! Too tall
Been watching your vids on your cfmoto 😅 love your content
@@stylin60es Thank you! I love the bike and enjoy making the videos. Lot's more to come!
I hope we get the 450 SRS. Single sided swing arm and adjustable front and rear suspension.
The 450 SR is under powered for US market....and meets euro specs.
Im waiting for that too! If that bike comes in malaysia i will just take my money bro 😂😂😂
Awesome to see some1 from new Braunfels on the channel !!
Great looking bike and after that review, I'd ride one for sure.
5k price tag from most dealers. Tough to match that.
It really does sound like an R7. I would’ve gotten this instead of a CBR300R if it was out sooner, but I still love my CBR for what it is :)
Good thing is you can sell the Honda easily. Cfmotos are great but they're hard to sell...trust me
@@chrispekel5709 I mean, i sold my Cf 300Nk at the same price i bought it soo...
I hate my cbr300r lol
@@FacialVomitTurtleFights 😆
Great sound, modern dash, amazing looks and okay build. Pretty affordable in the west too.
Wow, super impressed by the sound! Soooo bad ass. I think the zx4rr vs cf moto 450 both sound amazing for beginner bikes.
Every motorcycle should come with a TFT display including the ninja 400
I was debating on trading in my wife’s R3 for one of these when I bought my MT-10SP from Woods a couple months ago. Yam, let me know if you’re ever interested in riding/reviewing my 2023 MT-10SP; I live in San Antonio
finally been waiting for this
Great breakdown. Love the bike.
older 400/600 cc cf-moto engines can be traced back to when they worked with kawa and the er6n/4n
People say that, but I think they just reverse engineered (COPIED) the Kawa engine...due to Kawa moving to a new version of it and lax copyright laws in the china they got away with it. I've tried to find proof they bought the tooling or made them for Kawasaki and can't find any proof at all. But the CFmoto fanboys won't admit it haha
My only doubts with this bike are parts availability and aftermarket.
brought my ss home today very happy and surprised by the quality.
Definitely make a track video! So many people would love to see that!
