This is a good way to crack your rotor. I tried to out the lug nuts in and wedge a 3ft breaker bar, it was so mch force it stripped the threads right off the lug nuts and bent it.
I thought we cant do this with car in the air it can make it move i need to do it too i took off other sides axle out and i cant get new axle in on drivers side it dosent pop out easy so idk what to do
Yes that is still the best way to do it. This helps more so for people who already jacked the car up or are doing this at a junkyard where the vehicle is already raised up.

Back in the day I would crack it loose with the tire on the ground. The weight of the car would hold it.
