The journey through anxiety can be isolating, but finding someone who has gone through a similar experience and anxiety symptoms can be a crucial step towards full anxiety recovery. In this video, I share my own five-year battle with debilitating health anxiety, starting with a terrifying panic attack that convinced me I was having a heart attack. Despite reassurances from doctors, the symptoms persisted, leading to a relentless cycle of fear and physical distress.
As time went on, the symptoms worsened, affecting every aspect of my life. I became hypersensitive to triggers, unable to enjoy simple activities without fear of impending doom. My world shrank as anxiety tightened its grip, leaving me constantly on edge and consumed by worry.
Despite countless tests and treatments, nothing seemed to alleviate the anxiety symptoms or ease the fear. Eventually, I reached a breaking point, realizing that I had to accept that anxiety might be the culprit after all. It was a surrender, but also a turning point-a decision to focus on living rather than endlessly searching for a cure.

For me, believe me, it was worse. 1:43 I've been struggling for 30 years but the fault lies with the doctors who, instead of directing me towards the loop, instilled doubts about the symptoms I had. I developed cardiophobia (Fear of arrhythmias) because in certain moments of strong stress and anguish Atrial Fibrillations appeared. The cardiologists said that it could not be anxiety despite the instrumental tests reporting a healthy heart. You understand!! Yes you can understand me. My thirty-year search for the causes, Cardiologists cast doubt that it was the electrical system of the heart that might not be working well. I could try an operation (ablation) which didn't always help, on the contrary. What to do? . How can you try to deal with such a dangerous anxiety symptom that sent you to hospital to restore your rhythm? Then it wasn't a given that he would return, it could become chronic, that's what the doctors said. I won't go into detail because I should write a book. Today, thanks to you, I found the courage to live with my skipped heartbeat, and I think I'm on the right path because the state of anxiety is starting to decrease and my heart seems to be calming down. I hope to make it, I greet you and thank you with all my HEART. From Italy, Messina Pasquale.

After thirty years of tests, I recently had an ECG, echocardiogram and specialist visit again, everything turned out ok, but the doubt that there is some other test that I haven't done remains. Imagine that then I ended up at the neuropsychiatrist who gave me antidepressants, but he didn't give me certainty, he also spoke ambiguously, so much so that he still said to continue taking the drugs that the cardiologist gave me; even if the heart was found to be HEALTHY. Think about the contradiction within these attitudes; How could I expose myself to the symptoms if the drugs told me I was in danger? Tremendous anxiety, depression, anguish; an entire youth wasted. Now I believe we are starting on the right path, I wish I had had the chance to hear your words thirty years ago.I lived a shitty life, think that the only relief was the certainty that one day I would die anyway and everything would be over. I wanted to ask you: in my place, now with the awareness you have, after so many years would you be certain that it is anxiety? I mean, can I definitely start trying? Thanks for ❤

my heart symptoms, palpitations and skipped heartbeats are now affecting my digestion and I have started to eat little, not to go for pizza with friends so as not to make things worse: am I doing it wrong? Am I communicating to my subconscious that I'm in danger? Or should I deal with the symptoms by going and eating like everyone else, drinking a beer, knowing the pleasures of life, but knowing that the symptoms will surely come? Please help me overcome these dilemmas. 🙏❤

      Hi man,
I’ve actually been going through the same. Dizziness has been the worst symptom of them all since it debilitates me to a point where I’ve missed work and even being at home is difficult, thankfully I’ve been getting better. I went to the doctor to get checked, I researched why anxiety causes dizziness, no caffeine, better sleep schedule, breathing exercises, chamomile tea and exercise has been helpful, and THERAPY has been the most helpful. I still get dizzy and fear it, but I noticed I attached certain head movements, positions to getting dizzy, it didn’t happen before so I’m challenging it now.
Wishing you the best and fast recovery! Hopefully reading this makes you feel better. 🙏🏻

Ive been dealing with anxiety for about 6 months or so. It was entirely new to me. I am 23. It all started with heart stuff, what put me in the ER. They ran a blood test and ekg. Told me i was the healthiest person in the hospital. But i didnt feel like it. I have gotten other tests done and nothing seems to be wrong. I feel like i am shaky often and random body parts shake or tremble feeling. Ive been dealing with this on and off tightness like feelings in the upper left side of my stomach. Which is unexplainable. I have had a full ultrasound of my abdomen done. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I also get a weird feeling in the top of my neck and back of head. Like a pressure or a looming feeling almost. Its just so hard to explain the feeling. The hardest part for me is to believe this is all from anxiety. Sometimes i get these things even when i dont necessarily feel anxious. Its just so complex for me. Also when i lay down or put my head back, feel a heart best like sensation or jumpiness in my head or neck. I have been better then i was months ago. I just want to be normal again. If you have taken the time to read this, bless your soul and thank you.

The truth is over the years I experienced so many weird symptoms that lasted weeks and months that can be similar to autoimmune diseases. Funny that you dropped a video now.
I had a breaking point yesterday, and I haven't felt this wave of anxiety in almost a year. Not that my life has been good in that period, no, my father passed away. But I managed to keep my fears just there without getting them any thought.
But yesterday? Just like you said. I was at work, I started to feel numb, dizzy, and there you go... The next hours I had horrible stomach pain and was hard to get out of that loop.
I had to, again, research and look for reassurance.
I had a physical checkup from my mother (an or nurse), but I was still looking for a solution for a non existent problem.
Today I feel depressed and scared that I'll go back to that loop of fear again.
Your words, like always, are like a glass into my mind.

Then I started getting the lightheaded attacks but would never pass out. I couldn’t focus my vision correctly and it became a little blurry. Same with my hesring: sound will come in at different frequencies like I was dissociating if that makes sense. Like i don’t feel present with my surroundings. These happen especially in busy environments!! I got MRI,CT seen specialists and everything was normal! I thought it was something doctors were missing and I had a rare disease. I still get these attacks a lot. Just recently developed burning sensations on the skin. But now that I think it’s anxiety that attacks aren’t as severe. Oh yea, also brain fog and ice pick headaches!! Those are the worst!! My neurologist said it’s psychosomatic symptoms of anxiety even though I’m not mentally anxious when these symptoms come on.
I am glad I am not alone in this!!

So I literally went to the hospital today. So the day before I randomly started to do a 24/7 no food, but ate a-lot of salty nuts, one banana, and a bowl of watermelon. That night I did not sleep at all. Woke up and had alot alot of energy. I did eat a homemade breakfast burrito one hand full of salty nuts , I was drinking juice shots and coconut water . The last thing I ate was some seaweed chips thats was super salty at the Time I did not think of the salt I was consuming, but the sodium in the chips were 22 percent. , so I take care of my elderly mother who three weeks ago had a heart attack. Her home nurse came and I was sitting on the floor talking to the nurse about the 24/7 fast. The nurse was like Oh I did that and I went into ketoacidosis and I started to think if thats what I was going through. As soon as she left. I started to feel tinkling in fingers and a tightening in my chest. I decided to check my blood pressure and it was extremely high out of no where it was 183/120 I saw that number and I freak the f out . At the moment I was going into full panic attack mode. I literally jumped into the shower and turned on hot water…BAD BAD IDEA LOL. Didn’t think to turn on cold water , but I got out the bathroom and I felt normal for 5 minutes, but so many bad feelings where going through my head I literally thought I was dying. I think I stressed my self out so bad the last number of blood pressure I check jumped to 190/130. I thought this was it for me , so I told my brother take me to the hospital now.! The hospital was down the street. Got to the hospital, and now I have the shakes and mini tingling in my hand . Told the nurse at the front desk I thought I was having a heart attack or stroke lol…so they saw me right away because of how high my blood pressure was. They took my blood pressure it went down a little it was 170/121 still high and I was still extremely nervous and worried, as I was talking to the nurse I did start to slowly calm down , they did blood test and tested my pee. They did offered me a drug that would calm my anxiety down , but I didn’t want to take it because I thought that would make me die lol.! So finally the doctor came and told me All my blood work was normal, EKG was fine , all my kidneys are great and there is nothing wrong with me , Just might have high blood pressure and too go follow up with your primary doctor 😩. The way I was feeling I still in my mind even though the doctor might be lying lol and Im still in danger, but also my last blood pressure was still high it was 160/123 ,I felt the same way as this man like how you going to tell me Im ok when Im still feeling off and still have high blood pressure 😒😒, but who am I Im not a dr .. Dr said its high but its not a alarming high amount… I was still like wtf yall really going to let me go home. I was honestly scared I was going to die at home…Im now home hours later and my blood pressure did go down and most the symptoms to a panic attack went away. I just can’t sleep, but over all I really can’t believe this is all in my head. This is actually the second time I got rushed to the hospital because I thought I was dying. The first time was way worst but happy so long ago I thought I was over this. Over all I prayed alot tonight and now 2:16 am I actually feel normal now .

Two years back i ate 2 box icecream and ate spicy food at night all was normal until my sleep time. In the middle of the night i feels a symtom of dizziness, lightheadness, fast heart beat shivering and totally abnormal for me. But i passed that night when i wake up in the morning i feel like vomiting sensation, bloating, digestive issue, i can't eat so i went to doctor they told it was just food poison i took tablet after one week i feels same as before.... After that incident i controlled myself for one month to see the symptoms but worstly it increases day by day i felt like dying...
. I have that fear because i lost my both parents two years back so i too thought the same i have only one brother so i really afraided to tell my symptoms but after one month i told my brother about my symptoms and went to cardiologist and he told it just a stress don't stress too much and gave tablet... One week iam fine again symptoms started again I went to doctor again took tablets constantly i went for six months and after that i had stomach issues so i went to another doctor they told me all is fine
My anxiety journey started in 2021 November... After all the assurance i took tablet upto 2022 may then i convinced myself and this man video made me to understand and accept the symptoms.... From that to till now i experience lots of anxiety symptoms like
    Body pain
    Heart palpitations
    Dizziness
    Lightheaded
    Stomach pain
    Abdomen pain
    Chest pain
    Heart pain
    Muscle pain
    Shivering
    Ear problem
    Breathing trouble
    Insomnia
    Burning pains... Etc
And also I took ecgs, echo, abdomen scan... All are fine...
Till this day I can't sleep at afternoon because when I sleep in aftn I feel terrible heart beat and sometimes at night I can't even sleep because of palpitations...
I think i will overcome this anxiety.... By god, by myself, and especially this man(thank you yaar for making your journey to overcome my fear and i able to move forward)
So anyone from anxiety don't feel we will overcome this situation
    Thank you😊

I have some similar experience, I've been recovering gently from anxiety, until recently I down a full bottle of Nuts(Cashew nuts), then about 2 days later I began to feel weird symptoms when I try to sleep.
It feels like some part of my brain is asleep some part awake it was disrupting, I'll get bad palpitations, internal tremors, sensation as though I had adrenaline surge, burning or tingling feets.
Most of these happens when I lay on bed and try to sleep, the insomnia has been unbearable
I've never taken any meds or supplements before, I'm now thinking if I should take B12 n magnesium aswell as vitD

Thank you very much for this, the symptoms I feel are very similar, and this gave me hope that I can get better. I tried brute forcing through it, and trying to reason through my symptoms which made it worse. I finally hit rock bottom when I had a very bad panic attack with my wife and kids in the car. It was the first time they had seen me in that state, it was the most shameful experience of my life. I just started therapy, and have been given temporary work accommodations until I get well enough to return. Then start tackling the root cause and don’t feed anxiety any more. I’m at 0% recovery bc I can’t accept the fact I will ever feel normal. But cool facts it’s all reversible!!. A very quick question, my primary issue has been surrounded with the heart. I have checked everything and including bloodwork and CTs. Then it was my breathing, dizziness etc. Everything after multiple visits and labs along with imagery checks out that I am just fine. The question I have is related to the heart, I felt like something was pushing on it or there was a weight on it, or it feels like I ran a marathon and my heart is working overtime. These lasted for a couple of days and then released and then came back. Is it normal that a problem I have with my anxiety can last for a couple of days or more? I know its anxiety now but just curious is others issues lasted for days and then released?

I have so many symptoms. But I have this one - I'm easily startled even though I don't feel anxious. If I'm walking and a dog barks for instance - I get this shiver down my body and it feels like my legs freeze/stop. Very strange.

man, you saved my life! all you had,I had too! i did all the tests for 10 years and no one understood what's happening to me till I saw your video 1 week ago and I was like, oh my god! that's it! i didn't even hear that anxiety is a disease! i canceled all my doctor appointments and you don't know how I'm feeling now! It's life-changing and I'm getting better very quickly. I've had muscle tension on my face and I couldn't talk very well, now all the tension is gone! just accept anxiety and feel like ok, I'm feeling good. its nothing. everything will be fine. soon.

You will be fine! You can recover. Often just understanding what anxiety is and knowing that others are going through the same thing is like a wakeup call for the brain

Wow, while I have most of the symptoms you describe they are nowhere near as intense as yours. If I felt an ice pick headache I would definitely freak out 😱 very hard to think you are actually ok in a situation like that...

During the early days of Covid I had to go to the emergency room because I couldn’t breathe and thought I was having a cardiac attack. They nurses took my vital signs and said it’s just stress go home and try to relax. I hate it. Really hate it.

That is the sad thing... If some of these experts would have taken just a tiny bit more time during the first panic attack a lot of suffering could have been avoided. OR even better - we should have learned about mental health issues and what it can do early on in life so that it doesnt catch us completely off guard

You didn't talk about your "Dry mouth"? I've had this dry sticky mouth, gums and cracked lips for a week now. Similar to dehydration but it's not. Mouth and lips constantly dry and cracked despite drinking tonnes of water.. No pain otherwise. Tongue does have a white/yellow fluffy coating on it which doesn't scrub off. . It's super dry and sticky and I'm always needing to sip water every 5 minutes to relieve it. Blood tests all 'normal'. I take no medications. Otherwise I'm physically strong and seemingly healthy diet. I do suffer from bad Health anxiety though esp the last 10 years. And Bruxisn as you mention. Probably sleep Apnea too. But how can anxiety cause this constant dryness over a period of weeks, months, years 24-7-365 day and night?
    Thanks.

I'm an American so calling an abundance is a really expensive prospect for me. I can't tell you how many times I've set at home in the middle of the night wondering if I'm going to die instead this time.. (and kinda hoping I do half of that time). I hate my head.

my first panic attack wasnt the worst but it was memorable.I wento to a party and drank about 5-6 cans of energy drinks.Had good time there, nothings wrong. The day after ,it was about noon, i was drinking my mate (its popular in south america, its dried tea leaves with cold water).I think the caffeine overload , my heart started to beat faster and faster.I went to the emergency and the doctor told me it wasnt nothing.I was that way for 3 days straight.

YESSS! Caffeine overload will create anxiety symptoms and thoughts and once they pop up and you dont really know what is going on it can get out of hand
