    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As someone who has dealt with debilitating health anxiety and general anxiety for five years, I've learned the habits and behaviors that can keep you trapped in anxiety.
Anxiety can consume your life, and your brain is always anticipating symptoms.
You may even prepare for the worst-case scenario, which can put a tremendous amount of strain on your mind and body. Seeking out comfort, whether it be through symptom research or doctor visits, can provide temporary relief, but it doesn't address the anxiety itself. Instead, you need to come to terms with the amount of time and worry you've already put into your symptoms and understand that changing and worsening symptoms are normal with anxiety.
Once you've been checked out by a doctor, you have to be willing to accept that you may go through the cycle of anxiety and symptoms again and again, without immediately seeking external relief.
Over time, with self-trust and acceptance, you can overcome anxiety and its symptoms.

Hello! I’ve watched hundreds of videos on dealing with anxiety and yours is the most real and helpful. What makes yours stand out is that you’ve shared how awful your own anxiety was and how you are completely cured now. Others never talk about the possibility of being cured and they imply that it’ll last a lifetime. They do that to protect themselves from feeling liable. And what that does to a person with anxiety is that it closes the door of hope. But hope is a powerful medicine. I instantly felt myself getting better in 2 seconds after hearing your testimony because I saw myself connecting the dots while now believing I could be cured. Then all your other videos started to feel like the gospel and made more sense to me. Please keep up the good work and never underestimate the power of your honest testimony. I know that people can always relapse after even several years of feeling cured. But that does not mean that they were not cured before!

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for all the people you've helped with your videos. Can't imagine how many people you've helped, people who thought they were the only one going through this anxious cycle with very real symptoms. Just wanted to ask if you could talk about breatlessness and always being aware/concious of breathing which is the main cause of my anxiety attacks. I've been really stuck with this symptom, where thoughts like "what if I just stop breathing" or "how am I even breathing, wow now my breath feels weird, am I even breathing enough air?" How did you get through this if you ever had these symptoms or thoughts.

Hey, I’ve had this symptom for 5+ years. Done all the tests, all the reading. There were days where I couldn’t get off the couch because I felt like I was literally drowning. I won’t lie and say it’s gone now but I’ve learned how to handle it so much better. These videos helped me a lot. When he talks about building the life you’re proud of, he isnt lying. I tried everything else. It didn’t work. Once you’re working out, reading, engaging with healthy people, and in a career you enjoy, the anxiety stops having such a huge hold on you. I’m not 100% recovered yet, but I’d say 80%. Build a life you can wake up and say you are proud of living. See how it changes everything

@@ryangries7276 Thanks for this, I've been trying really hard to get out of my comfort zone, to desensitize myself from the discomfort I feel when I become aware of my breathing. It's been ongoing for about 2 years, where it started with a panic attack while studying in class. The discomfort also changes depending on how anxious I feel. I can sit talk with someone without a worry, and then the next moment I can be alone somewhere and feel like I've forgotten how to breath. But I've been slowly beginning to challenge my thoughts and feelings instead of resisting it. In all the couple of years I've had anxiety I've always resisted and distracted myself from the discomfort which made it worse. But slowly and surely I've begun to get my life back, with the usual setbacks (Which is the worst cant lie haha).

Agree with learning to live with the symptoms. Although I still experience the same symptoms here and there, they don't freak me out as much anymore. You will have to go through the stages or at least get to the final stage to realize and accept what’s happening and whenever these symptoms start to not give in to them and to push through them. Accept it and push through about your day knowing that whatever is happening to you will not hurt you.
Also before any of that, if you haven’t already get checked out by your GP to make sure it ready isn’t anything serious.

I read a really great article explaining why anxiety is so hard to overcome and why it gets harder the longer you have it.
It’s all about neuroplasticity. You are literally reprogramming your brain in to thinking anxiety is the baseline and your normal state. It wants you to be hyper focused and constantly body scanning, that’s your body’s new safe mode, and if you don’t, it will remind you by sending you a sensation that will trigger you. It sees everything as a threat, even the smallest little stressors are interpreted as something dangerous.
When you start to recognize that your symptoms are caused by anxiety and you start ignoring the reminders in form of the symptoms the brain sends you it freaks out. It interprets it like you put your hand on a red hot stove and just keep your hand on it. It wants you to react to it and the more you ignore it the more symptoms the brain will cook up to get your attention. That’s why you will go from one symptom to another. When the numbness and tingling in your left arm doesn’t get your attention anymore the brain will panic and give you a stomach ache instead. When that stops working it will maybe try the numbness in your arm again. If that doesn’t work it might try some chest pain or just bring on a multitude of different symptoms. It will do anything to get back to the state it considers normal and safe.
The longer you struggle with anxiety the more neuroplasticity occurs and the harder it gets to retrain your brain but it’s never too late. It’s just really hard and takes time. I’ve been struggling with anxiety for almost 20 years and it turned in to health anxiety in 2021 and that’s when I hit rock bottom. I’ve been working on it proactively for a year now and I’m in a much better state now. I think the most important thing is to get an understanding on what anxiety is and how it can affect you and your body, and understand that your brain will fight you all the way to recovery.

I started having anxiety about a nerve pain and then it got me to take an Google search, there i read about nerve damage that led to article about depression and anxiety and that led to an article about brain chemical imbalance and then i believed i have a tumor or brain chemical imbalance and thought i will be psychotic.. from then on every action my mind does i relate it to psychosis.. while at work if i concentrate on work i will have intrusive thoughts and i will believe only i have them and believe that's sign of psychosis.. i will have self talk and will think only i have it.. every thing i relate to psychosis.. sometimes 1 or 2 days will be normal but BOOM some unwanted trigger then all goes back to it.. worst part is i know i won't be psychotic but can't stop those thoughts.. what should I do? Unlike the worst one which is 24hr. Anyways we can do this! Always be positive and always remember that soon it will be gone!

Great video my friend. I’ve been with this about 16 months and am at the stage of just living my life normally regardless of symptoms (that don’t concern me anymore)
However for me living normally is doing strenuous endurance type exercise, I’ve heard from other sources that this is likely to prevent recovery due to stress on the body? What are your thoughts?

I am not a professional so I dont really want to dive deep into or give some kind of advice I shouldnt be giving :D - I think the best thing here would really be to ease your way back into strenuous exercise because I know that I often got triggered after very intense workouts. the problem with this is that I dont believe that there really are these 1, 2 or three things that you can do to fix this... It really is a mentality (state if mind) that you need to adapt. BUT you can add good healthy habits, focus on releasing tension and overall trying to build something out of your life that you are proud of. At the end of the day it is about building up confidence again, realsing stress and tension so that your more rational brain can come back on instead of being in that hyperaware state all the time

Hey man, yeah weed seems to be a very common anxiety trigger and I see so many people dealing with this. First of all: It is a great sign that you are not having panic attacks anymore, you can stay below that tipping point and now it is time for you to start managing stress. Stress often feeds into eachother and so you stay trapped. Do you have habits in place that lower stress and do you follow and incorporate them into your daily habits? So SO important!!!

hey brother, i really gonna need your reply, i've been following your videos since quite alot of time now and you have really helped in not giving up to this state, i had brain fog in 2020, and at that time it was my first ever panic attack experience so i went to a neurologist and got medicines which really got me back to the track, and i was perfect for many years to come but here i'm all over stuck with this situation, i'm highly tensed, i feel like i'm a disappointment to parents, they are trying their very best to take care of me, what should i do bro!
My symptoms are - weakness, feeling tired everytime, sleeping issues, and as you've exactly told about hyper awareness in your videos, that's one other case!
its very hard for me to be like this bro!😭

Hey man, so you sound very much like me back then... I know it sounds like the main issue is to break free from the symptoms and that that is the only way you can continue your life and strive BUT I want to emphasize here that it is really the other way around. You will have to start building yourself up in spite of how you are feeling now. Do something that will make you proud, get in shape, become intentional in forming a life that you want and eventually these symptoms will disappear all by themselves. I KNOW that this sounds like an impossible task BUT you start small and you will see how fast your confidence will boost and how quick you actually got out of this anxiety loop. I wish you all the best bro and hope to read from you again soon :)
