To conquer the wild, the DX6 Rugged gives you 6-channel versatility and hosts an array of auxiliary switches for lights, winches, mixes, and more. Its interface features a new innovative capacitive-touch control panel that offers a greater resistance to moisture and is easy to use. Simply tap to access the control panel and select the menus, options, and values. Additionally, we’ve added a backlight to the easy-to-read LCD display, offering unparalleled brightness and clarity even in the harshest conditions. Integrated telemetry capability** lets you view vital data such as motor RPM, vehicle speed, battery voltage, and temperature on the transmitter in real-time. Plus, the integrated USB-C Port delivers hassle-free firmware updates for uninterrupted functionality.
Molded Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) bumpers surround the radio chassis to protect it against drops, bumps, and scrapes along the way. There’s no external antenna to snag or worry about-a low-profile ridge on the chassis internally protects the robust high-speed signal output. A versatile front chassis guard enhances durability further and provides mounting options for user-integrated accessories such as a camera, light source, or anything else. The pair of lanyard mounting points allows drivers to keep the transmitter close and gain a free hand when not driving. An easy-access accessory compartment makes it possible to carry small tools, such as a T-wrench that easily snaps into the internal mount provided. We increased transmitter water-resistance* to give drivers peace of mind in rainy or wet conditions. Last but not least is an aggressive off-road style steering wheel that expands its ruggedness. When will Spekrum recall all the DX6R it was a great idea with Andriod Operating but I really think Spekrum rest to production and Spekrum should do a recall
I personally have two DX6R and both have issues either because it was rest to production
Drop down wheel compatible?
Where the hell is the 5.5 ms rate and throttle mixing for MOA? I haven’t bound my MOA to this radio but the manual says nothing about throttle mixing or MOA. Just steering. So far…not impressed. I want to see another video showing those features. And if this tx has MOA how does one control dig? It’s as if you lied to me and ripped me off of $300. And can I replace that pos steering wheel with either the DX5 Pro or DX6 R wheels? I have a Pro. With throttle mixing AND a 3 way switch. And the manual has throttle mixing!!!
I have my Rugged. So far - hate the steering wheel. Hopefully a DX6 R wheel will fit. I have one coming. That thumb lever is just stupid. Hook a GoPro to the front bar and actually drive your car. The scroll button system sucks the big one. I had a DX5 Rugged. Both systems suck. I also have a DX5 Pro. Scroll wheel and ACTUAL buttons…badass. I know why they went this direction. Water resistance (or waterproof?). I have a feeling when I bind my DR10’s SR2100 receiver I will get to choose the 5.5 ms frame rate. Even the manual doesn’t mention the 5.5 ms rate. But I still want to know why Spektrum says MOA and I see no evidence this radio is capable. My DX5 Pro is capable and the manual and menu show the throttle mixing of MOA. This radio and its manual don’t. Why? I want answers. I don’t want to keep my DX5 Pro. I want just the DX6 Rugged to control all models with Spektrum receivers
