    David Bowie wears trousers cut short in 2005, and everyone else does 10 years later.

      I know what you mean but people were wearing trousers short like that in the sixties and again in the eighties. He looks great. 🙂

    The dark eye and the bandage was teather and makeup. Pianist Mick Garson wrote that on Facebook. And I read somewhere it was for a hurricane that happened at the time, in 2005. Observe that it vanished on the "Five Years" performance at the same day.

      Yes this is a better version than the somewhat misleading 'last live Life on Mars'. It comes via in a circuitous way 'Wake Up' where he looks more chipper at teh same gig with Arcade Fire. Here the hand is bandaged and bit of black eye -ooh
      Maybe a car shunt?

    You know, one thing I just noticed you can see the passion that Bowie has for the song. I may be late at this comment. But it's crazy to see the
    dedication someone has, that I would.

    • @ottovonbismarck6310
      @ottovonbismarck6310 2 года назад +2

      Yet it sounds like it was written with his cut up method. Perhaps his passionate delivery is part of the theatre he brought to performances. If you watch him sing Heroes at Musikladen he flubs the lyric. He does it in the same spot in another clip from that mini-tour. It really seems like he pretended to screw up :)

    • @ottovonbismarck6310
      @ottovonbismarck6310 Год назад +1
