My Uncle is a Harley Rider, heavy set, long hair, missing front tooth! he looks the part, LOL. In 07 i lost my wife to cancer, i had a 10, 7 & 3 year old children at home, id have to say it was the roughest time of my life. My uncle was the 1st one to step up to give me a hand watching the kids, taking & picking them up from school helping with meals & homework so I could get my wif to Dr's appointments & try to hold down a job. He stayed with us for months & was a enormous help! You would never think, watching him cruise down the road on his Hog. Most of the time your able to judge a book by the cover but not aways.

I wish yamaha would build a 400cc version with a 2 valve engine like the bigbear 400 that would be the ultimate bike in your opinion. Low seat height low maintenance and sharing as any parts as possible with the tw200 so accessories like racks and things would interchange!

I bought a 2019 last May and have put maybe 2600 miles on it so far. Fun little bike!

I've bought 5 used off of marketplace in the last 2 1/2 years all for less than 2,000 total. Horse shoe up my butt. One was a parts bike for $220, 88 for $160 replaced wiring harness off parts bike, 92 for $240 running but had been backed over, 95 with 760 miles for $350 had to replace an intake valve and bore out the cylinder to 70mm, 06 for $550 that was stolen by crackheads then recovered (intake valve replaced and new piston and plastics. Will have enough to put together a 4th TW between parts bike and backed over bike.

I have a TW225 imported from Japan and I love it, not the high speed tourer like my Africa Twin but Hugh fun on back roads and trails. I agree that we all to often get stereotyped by the bike we ride.

My dad has had his 2013 tw200 since it was brand new and he wouldn’t sell it for anything. Southern MD swamps mostly. Great bike 👍👍👍

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than to ride a fast bike slow

Interesting. It's essentially a more street oriented version of the Yamaha AG 200, a farm bike sold in Africa, Australia and NZ.

Great description of the mighty TDub. I have a Suzuki VanVan200 very similar to the TDub and the attitude you adopt when riding it is such a welcome change. I have bigger bikes that come and go but the VanVan is not leaving my garage….unless I’m riding it ;)

Awesome thx. I own a 1987 big wheel electric start with a kickstarter. It's the really fat tire off road only bike. Still runs excellent and I'm considering purchasing a new TW soon!!! They do run forever 👍
