    Super thankful for my Father In Law, Kenny, to take the time and share what he thinks of his 2022 TW200 and what he has done to it so far. This guy has put so many miles on 4 different TW200's and has a pretty solid opinion of them through years of ownership. I'm stoked and grateful that my family and I still have him around!

    I bought an 86’ Honda XL250R just like the one seen at the beginning of the video brand new from the dealer in 86’. My son has it now. It has had hardly anything done to it. Still fires up and rides well.

    Great video Matt. I agree with everything he said. I run the same setup 47 in the rear. Better gas mileage and it really doesn’t take away from the low end power. Again great video.

    Hey Matt, say hi to Kenny for me. Nice to see someone my age still riding. Seems to me he’s the man that got all you fellas into T-Dubbing. Good man! Anyway as I mentioned to you earlier I wound up with a good (great) condition 2015 XT250 with a little over 3000 miles on it after literally years of trying to find a new or decent used T-Dub. I haven’t given up. Makes me happy to see another old fella doing what I’m doing. Everything Kenny said about the TW applies to the XT. Except little bigger motor, skinny tires, fuel injection but same super low seat height. It sure would be a cheap upgrade for Yamaha to transplant that power train into a T-Dub. Do you think that would ruin or improve the T-Dub? Really appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos. Thanks again.

    • @MOBStreet83
      @MOBStreet83  Год назад +1

      Hey Gary! I will let Kenny know for sure! He still has a lot of miles left in him and he loves getting out on the TW200 and just cruising around. I think that engine in the TW would be a lot of fun really. But, who knows what will happen. Thanks for watching and for the comment, I really appreciate it.

    Great bike for a lot of reasons. I owned 2 BUT you never mention the bothersome choke. Even here in Florida's weather, she's a pain to start. I prefer my KLX230s . Start her up and go. No waiting for a cold engine to warm up.

    • @MOBStreet83
      @MOBStreet83  Год назад

      Honestly, I haven't really had to choke it in anything but the very cold and then you run it for a few minutes and it's good to go. I would actually prefer this over my KLX230s. I have the 2022 and that idle is what bothers me the most about that bike. But, I do love the Engine and Trans on the KLX.

    I had been looking at one of these for months. And as I waited the price went up. So on the 19th of October 2023 I bought a brand new one. The dealer was easy to work with. No games, just a straight out purchase. Cheap payments. Nice bike, good looking and very capable. If you want a good all around bike this is it. So happy I bought one. Feels good to pull up to the gas pump and for less than ten bucks you fill up. In my truck it cost me 173 dollars to fill it up. Pass on that now. GREAT BIKE!!!!!👍

    Hello Matt, for tj3 first time I’ve had my TW200 off road here in silver Springs, Nv and I’m disappointed in sandy dirt roads. I just dumped it and what happens is the bike wants to “ Lead “ and just go everywhere all over the road even slow. I’m not sure if a different tire would help but it’s terrible. Air pressure maybe? On hard pack it’s fine but not the sandy dirt road.. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? These TWs suppose to be good. Anyway just trying to see if I can do something about it. Thanks Matt. I enjoy your Videos. James.

    • @MOBStreet83
      @MOBStreet83  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey James! I am sorry to hear that! For the sand, I was taught that I had to change my tire pressure, a lot. I aired down to 5 psi in the sand and others run 8-12 psi all the time. I prefer more pressure for road riding personally. I really hope this helps and things are better from here on out!
