Me and my cousin did this with his prowler sled on the street. It was satisfying in the end, but brutal while we were doing it. This workout alone is responsible for my 66 pound weight loss so I want to say thank you for this.
2nd session back in a gym today after 8 years and 3 years as a flabby stay-at-home dad. Had virtually no weight on the sled but I felt great once I got over the dry reaching and blacking out. Start of my journey back to respectable level of fitness. Massive thanks for giving me some direction to take with workouts.
Nice work Coach. I enjoy using it for a curl/press too. Face away from sled, strap in each hand, curl up, then press forward, just like a bench press. Bear hug. Over the head triceps pull. I bend my elbows on the reverse drag.
My favourite exercise at the gym. Try and do it two times a week and now I'm up to 810 pound push, and 570 pull. Def feel it throughout the whole body.
This workout is awesome, just did it today and I am beat. Thank you! For the rope pull and bear crawl, did you do it down and back 2 times, or rope pull down, push back, rope pull down, etc?
Great workout !! In regard to the rope pull exercise do you recommend a mid push down/high push back back to other side before doing the rope pull again?
jason assaf The lower you go on the push obviously the harder it gets so that’s totally up to you. You can make it harder on the way down easier on the way back or vice versa.
Just got started at 65 yrs old the gym in and out for 45 yrs well now I have found and iam ready to experience the real deal as Jason Taylor NFL use to say there's weight room strength or there's. Country man's strength chop chop
@@Criticalbenchabsolutely, one of the best total body exercises I have ever seen. I've seen in the gym people pushing carts. I thought that this this is an ultra expensive equipment that's only prevalent in the gym, but little did I know that we could buy them too in order to work out at home
How to incorporate sled in my lifting routine or should I use sled only on tje day I do hitt/functional trainning? I do not do any barbell squats do to bulding disk on lower back. I do landmine belt squats now but I heard prowler are good to build legs?? Iam not an athlete anymore, iam a 50 year old fit male. I do full body lifting workouts 3x a week m,w and f...and on Tuesday I rest or do LISS workout and on THURSDAY I do 30 min HITT/functional trainning workouts with kettlebells, sandbags, sledg hammers, etc....
Greetings! I have a question. I am considering the heavy weighted sled rope pull routine into my exercise. Planning to build a huge muscular physique. I am not aiming to be a sprinter or a runner. I want to gain size. I want to be huge and muscular. Will a HEAVY weighted sled rope pull exercise hinder mass gain /muscle gain? will it hinder the "bulking" process for muscle building? I keep reading on other forums that weighted sled exercises burn fat and energy and make you lose weight. Will using heavy weights on the sled make you gain mass instead of losing it? Can I do it without losing/burning fat? if yes, how many sets? how far should I drag the sled? Thank you for your kind attention.
This is a great question! With a lighter load on the sled and increased speed at moving it, will offer more cardio. Loading up the weight on the sled will make it more difficult to move it quickly and will be a great addition to your "building" exercises. We have several videos on ways to use the sled so please check them out.
Hell no. Where's my Cinnabon??? I'm 46 and just started going to the gym for the first time in 20 years. My girlfriend can push more sled than I can. Wish me luck.
These exercises are stupid because they purpose of the sled is conditioning NOT explosivity or posterior training. Every tool has a purpose, use the right tool for the job. Snatch and cleans for explosive training and Deadlift and squat for posterior training. Your welcome.

Oh wow, nice job! Keep up the hard work 🙌
how long it took you ?
Isn't it a little hectic the prowler sled on the street like on concrete i thought it would work better on that smooth surface
I nearly died but one of the best workouts I have ever done in my life. Great cardio and strength training!!!! I felt incredible afterwards!
I have started doing this, just after two rounds I felt gasping for breath, but it does make feel core and lower body incredible

It was shocking yesterday when I tried the sled for the first time. Literally the first set had be gasping...
Awesome! You will only get stronger !!!
My ass almost passed out doing this work out. But I did it. Thanks for video.
Can't wait to give this a shot in a couple days.
Awesome! We can't wait for you to try it as well!

Hi, can anyone help me find the strap's for the sled bear crawl please. Thanks .
It does the job. Excellent product.
Right on
Actually does the workout and edits in post 👏
Thank you. This is great.
You're welcome!
AWESOME! Thank you brother!!
You're always welcome!!
Need one of these. Great video
Thanks for watching!
This is a good one
I am going to try these. Hope to get some serious cardio and fat burning with these. Thanks critical bench.
The two most painful exercises I've ever done is the assault bike half mile sprint, and sled pushes for time.
Thank you !
You're welcome
Awesome suggestions. Thank you 🙌🏽

Those bear crawls look brutal, I'd do them first! THanks. Great ideas
You bet!

My gym has the 4 legged slude. Wet did you fine the best to anchor the Slead too? And are you using a TRX cable to pull with.? Thanks guys u rock it.
Yes we are using a TRX for a couple of the pulls.
Great functional football reminds me of football and building that pushing power
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
What’s the weight set on that sled? Do we maintain same weight throughout?
Great video!
Thank you for watching!
Great workout! Thank you!💪😘✌
This was freakin awesome
Thank you for watching!
Yeah pretty much. Flipping 300 pound tires. Pushing sleds. Weighted wheel barrels. The Ultimate circuit.
Pretty much!
wat kinda shoes do u recommend when using the sled? running shoes, trail shoes?
What feels best to you? What do you currently wear? You do not need specific shoes for pushing or pulling a sled.

Dont have a prowler but have a sled just to drag it..should I invest in a prowler instead?? Iam working out at home
Purchasing a sled is up to you 😊 ... but is there any way to somehow modify/ work with your existing sled so that you can push it?
@@Criticalbench no but I can sell my sled and buy a prowler instead
I love this. I'm going to save up some money to invest in this. I will never have to go to a gym again
Not a bad piece of equipment to have 💪

How many yards/feet are you going up & back?
If i want to focus on my glutes how am i supposed to stand and put my feet and hands?
I want to focus on your glutes too
@@ilyafrey9038 ok,im 2nd in line.
How far is “down”? 40 yards?
Becky Casey Actually about 25 yards down and back.
Chris Wilson thanks so much for the response.

Olivia Hawkins weight you can manage

Mix sled into lifting and HIIT work. Use the sled in a weight training circuit.
the "face pull" ~2min , this would be a good rear delt?
A face pull in itself is a rear delt exercise, correct.
YEAH!
BOOM!
Haha! These workouts pump you out man!
ARRRRRRTILLERRRYYYYY!!!!! :D
how long are these "down" and "back"s?
20-25 yards down. So down and back is 40ish yards.

My gym don't have a prowler ...
Yasin Aouana You can actually do most of this with a strap and plate weight...as long as u have a decent surface to drag it across!
make one with a tire
