I bought the gopro hero 8 black along with the ulanzi gopro cage to hold everything together as one even the mic adapter 😁👍 I also did buy an extra door from ulanzi with the lil mic adapter port hollowed out so you can plug straight into charge port or plug in your mic adapter they sale doors with that space cut out
I bought an Ulaniz case for my Hero 8. The Ulanzi G8-5 Aluminum Cage for GoPro HERO8 Black. Door has cut out for inserting a cable. Also the case accepts a 52mm camera Filter which will protect the Gopro's lens cover. At it's base it has a slot to hold a Gopro mic adapter.
I have the Ulanzi G8-5 Aluminum Cage for GoPro HERO8 Black. I just use swimmers ear wax around the bottom open port after inserting the mic adapter to seal it from the environment. Works great
fishycomics Wow, I had no idea about the G8-7! 😳 I’m definitely going to order one! I think that would be perfect to use to make sure the battery stays in, and then maybe still use the sleeve for extra protection. Thanks for the heads up! 🙏🏻
Hansenne Incapas I use a Sony lavalier mic. I don’t remember the exact model, but there should be a link to it in the bottom of the video’s description. Also, keep in mind that for a GoPro 5 or newer, you’ll need to get a mic adapter from GoPro to use any mic.
I just shoot 1080p 30fps in superview with stabilization all the way up! If I’m shooting a video that needs second angles, they’re usually 1080p 60fps in case I want to slow it down.

Ulanzi G8-7 is not waterproof so the sleeve will do that. Perfecct solution if asked. Amazon order. or at their site. you are quite welcomed
