I´ve take the liberty to call your work and told them that you won´t be coming in for the next three months. You will now have all the time you need to read your books. Money might be a problem tho!
Nice, modest sized collection. I mostly read floppies, so reading a long, sprawling series in order can be challenging (Hellboy, Hellblazer), as opposed to reading a convenient omnibus. I have over 40 longboxes with about 75% read. I make handwritten lists to track everything: What i need to read, what i have read, what i need to buy. I usually read about 1500 floppies per year since Covid hit. My collection is about 60% indie, 35% DC (mostly Vertigo and Batman), 5% Marvel.
1500 a year is good innings. Do you use good reads? If not you should consider it, it’s a great way to track everything you’ve read and haven’t read and something i started using myself last year 😊 Thanks for checking out the video. Hope you enjoyed it 😊
I use Goodreads for reviews only. My reading doesnt always allign to collections and many of my books arent on Goodreads. So what i read and how many issues is tracked manually. It is a labour of love.
I don't have a very big collection but 6 months ago if I did a video like this it would be like half of them read, now I've only got a few things left.
I've got 803 books, of those just 9 are unread, and of those 9 I've actually read 7 of them in a different form! You should honestly read Scott Pilgrim soon, it's such a quick read and will tick 6 books off your list in just a few days!
My to be read pile used to massive, but now with bills and trying to afford an upcoming wedding, it’s shrunk down significantly. Also, Cade, have you read Destroyer MAX by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker? Highly recommend
