I agree!! --Batman #9 is the best of the large logo books in the run!! Obviously Kane & Robinson thought so or they wouldn't have reused the reverse image of it for issue 16! --Better with the black background, though!!
Love that Batman #17. So glad you got it. Also really glad I didn’t look at that weeks auction as I likely would have been bidding against you🤛. Love those patriotic covers. Great video as always Ryan
Nice hat! Mines on the way. Ive always been a Marvel guy but I've recently started to collect Batman and the covers are sooo good. 227 is definitely top 5 cover for me.
That Detective comics 400....... 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 congrats man! That is one of my grails. Literally showed another first in the silver age with man-bat lol
I have a Batman #12 CGC 6.0 with white pages and a Batman #18 CGC 4.0. I really love those WW II covers. Early Golden Age books are really tough to find with white pages. I think they go for a premium. I think Batman #42 is a homage to Batman #14 which is the first Penguin cover in Batman. Batman #16 is a reverse cover of Batman #9. I think those early Batman’s will keep going up. I really enjoyed this video!
It’s really cool to see all the Batman covers you have, you have a killer collection! One of the grails that I’ve been trying to find at the right price is right behind you, ASM 14! I want to get it in 4.0-7.0 really focused on cbcs slabs to find the best price an re-slab it once I get my hands on it… Thanks for all the content continue to make! You, swag, an bry have helped me find a lot of happy/fun pockets in this hobby! Keep up the great work!

The only DC books I've ever been interested in, since my childhood in the 80s, are Batman books. He has Batman will always hold value.
Detective comics 122 is one batman comic I would like to own some day.
A couple grails you got there in 181 and 227, love the silver age Batman.
227 is a great cover for sure 👍
I have a Det. 164 in 4.0 also! Very cool book.
Those are beautiful! I have Detective Comics 121 CGC 4.0. It’s awesome but I wish it was a 122!

Thanks! Tec 400 is 1970 so I consider it Bronze Age.
@@AutomaticComics another one right on the edge. 1970 stands as the last year of silver.
Great collection. Really enjoy when you share these stories.

Glad to hear. Thanks for watching. Good luck with the ASM 14 search 👍
Martian manhunter was in multiple scenes in a the snyder cut ….another big scene was him faking Martha with Lois …love the early golden age Batman…
I don’t really count when he’s there as someone else =).
You really cant go wrong buying reasonably priced golden age Batman books. Constant, slow growth.
