the sm7b is pretty hyped in the mids. the Q9U actually fits your voice better! maybe it just needs a hipass filter up to 110hz but overall its a solid mic!!

The input volume of the q9u is really low on windows with usb although the system gain is adjusted. Is this normal? What can I expect? Does anybody know?

Even with XLR, it seems low. Was going to use EqualizerAPO to boost it by 3DB, but it seems like a recent Windows update has broken it.
Have you found any solution?

The Shure SM7B still sounds better, but for $200 it’s well worth it.

Exactly! The Shure SM7B is a minimum of 400$ more than the Q9U. You need either a cloud lifter or go xlr to power it correctly. So for $200 this is an absolute beast of a microphone.
