No more than 90 days on a air tight container. If you will make a bulk amount, I will vacuum sealed it in small batches so you only have minimum amounts exposed to humidity and oxygen at one time. My dogs won’t let them go further than 30 days for sure. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching
If making bulk would it hurt to after vacuuming sealing it to freeze it then let it unthaw in the fridge before serving. I would think it would last a good while.
@@JR-hy2mq well the problem with that is: you will have to freeze the exact portions you will feed, once you freeze it and thaw it you will introduce moisture again. If left in contact with air for some time it will create bacteria and will make the dog sick. If you freeze it again after thaw, sam concept will happen and you will loose the texture. Hope this help. Thanks for watching 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you dude. My dog has pancreatitis and chicken is a staple of his diet. I buy chicken jerky for my buddy aaaaannnnd it gets expensive. I scored some chicken breast and I’m following your instructions. And I did subscribe and like…..hell ya. Of course it’s expensive for me…I give him these treats just for being my friend. I love him. But not toooooo many he will ignore his food …….that I mix with chicken too. Yup, spoiled and I’m guilty.
Yeah pancreatitis isn’t fun at all. Indeed chicken is one of the best options there for bland diet. I’m glad the video help you and you pup. Hope you buddy feels better and that the chicken helps. Thanks for watching dude 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@@TraceyEaster760 well it will depend on the case. The number one recommendation for dogs with inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis) it’s boiled chicken with rise. That being said, in some cases do to the origin of the pancreatitis it might be recommended by a veterinarian to follow a different dietary regime that might include but not limited to: low fat yogurt, egg whites, cooked vegetables even low fat beef. The idea it’s to provide the dog with non fatty foods to provide relive to the pancreas. The reason for that is, the enzymes that the pancreas produces, are in charge of breaking down sugars, fats, starches. Providing a dietary regime with lower fats, provide the pancreas with a less forced job, resulting in lowering the inflammation with the help of good hydration. I’m chronic cases the pet might need subcu fluids and even hospitalization.
Actually some people do. As long as they know it’s been taken to 165 degrees of internal temperature. But indeed isn’t a common thing. It taste good, I have try the ones for the dogs. Little bland but not bad. 😉

I know. Some of the bags at the stores are extremely expensive and you don’t even know where that comes from. Glad it’s helping people and pups out.
How do you store your jerky & how long does it hold for? I’m going to make a large batch for my Wolfdog to train her with.
Bro this vid is killing 👍🏻
