Man, finally a budget friendly video.
Thank you
More coming your way soon 👏
@@thebkpets
Thank you. We need more of this.
I've been asking for it and finally!
It's my thought is we had more budget friendly videos like this
More people can get their animals involved in better nutrition. If options were more budget minded I think I think a lot of folks would start looking at healthier options.
This video is a huge step in the right direction
If you look on youtube not many folks are teaching healthier options on a budget. Not to many anyways.
I have a GSD with hip dysplasia and a Siberian with pancreatitus. The pancreatitus came from my dog baby sitter was feeding him hamburger and adding 2 or 3 tablespoons of grease to his food.
No matter how much a insisted they stop they wouldn't. Damn near killed my dog. Meds for both of these dogs are very expensive. Hundreds a month. I'm convinced a better diet would work wonders. Neither get grease any more and both on a diet low fat dog food. But I know there is better cheaper somewhere.
But thank you for this Bryce. I've been waiting on this very video but will welcome many more.
Thank you for always showing us new ways to give our companions the best life they can possibly have 😊
Thank you so much! ❤️
Thank you! I put my molds on a cookie sheet. Then I put a piece of parchment paper on top and layer another mold. You can add up to four molds if you have room in your freezer. I also have an upright so it’s a little easier to layer the molds. Another good way to store is in glass spice bottles. Ends up being about 2 servings per bottle for a large dog and 4 servings for small dogs.
I make a Korean bone broth as my base. Just bone and water. Then I split it into two. One of my human family and the other half for dog family hahaha 😂
Me too. We share 😊
Love this! Love hearing people cooking similar things for themselves and their dogs
@@thebkpets yeah Me and my dogs share food too. I make homemade dog food first then make mine with leftovers lol 😂
Absolutely love this lol ❤️
Thank you so much for this. The dog bone broth is very expensive. And many brands have extra stuff in it. So this is so helpful! .
Thank you! ❤️
I bought raw feeding bones and duck feet (one of my dogs is allergic to chicken) to make bone broth and it was relatively inexpensive. I make up several batches of different flavours, so they get a variety of different tastes and benefits.
The first bone broth i made for my dogs I put outside to cool down, i have no idea how my Bichon Frise got onto the table, he's hardly the most agile dog, but he knocked it over and drank the whole lot! I think it's safe to say he enjoys it!
And, another person here asking how Cooper is doing.
Omg that sounds just like something our dogs would do 😂
Coopers doing pretty good right now, thank you for asking! More tests left to run but happy with how he is recovering overall ❤️
I feed my cats boiled chicken thighs. ($1.99 a pound) I then make broth by putting the bones back in the water and let it simmer for a few hours. My cats love it. Happy Caterday!
Your cats are so lucky ❤️
Thanks for this video!! I'll definitely be trying this for my dog! Hope Cooper is doing better! 💖
Thank you so much! ❤️
I am definitely making this for my babies, I have a beagle and lab they will eat anything 😂
Then they’ll love this 😂
Thanks Bryce! How is Cooper doing?
He’s doing pretty good right now, thank you for asking! More tests left to run but happy with how he is recovering overall ❤️
@@thebkpets Good to hear!
Add the tired looking veggies from your fridge like zucchini, carrots etc. I slightly warm broth on cold mornings. Got to spoil them.🥰🥰
So smart! Also veggie scraps like broccoli stalks, butt ends of carrots, etc. 🥰
Good idea!! But fresh veggies even better!!
Oh, OK. I hear you I used to feed kibble but I don’t think it’s that healthy but if you have more than one dog gets quite expensive to feed raw thanks for your RUclips. I love them and I’m gonna make the bone broth but not with chicken, I’m gonna use regular beef bones.
The k you so much! ❤️
Just question, my daughter is allergic to chicken. What can I buy besides chicken?
Could I give it to cats also
Yes!
Other bone broth videos I’ve watched recommend not using a crock pot because cooking that long will create histamines. They recommend using an instant pot for faster cooking, less histamines. What are your thoughts on that? Thank you!
What kind of bones do you use if you’re gonna use beef?
Marrow bones like soup bones!
@@thebkpets OK thanks I’m looking for the ones with the knuckles on them. They’re hard to find.
@@watchmoivies123Costco!!
I’ve seen someone use her pressure cooker with chicken feet and after 4 hrs the bones in the feet get super crumbly so she uses it for some bone intake once they are finely ground up. What is your take on that please?
do you include the bone marrow?
If you cook it long enough the marrow should dissolve and any of the solids you'll strain out. You don't actually have to strain out anything but the bones. You get a lot of extra nutrition but it does mean the bone broth won't last as long. The solids make it go rancid faster so it's all about what you're looking for. If you're the type that freezes it it'll last forever
We sort of squeeze it through the strainer to get some of the juices out ☺️ You can also freeze it and use it as a kibble topper!
@ethanletzer3507 thank you very much for the info!
@thebkpets thanks very much!! I find the bone marrow one of the tastiest parts, so I thought it would add a savory taste to the bone broth since my dog doesn't like it much.
What kind of CBD are you using?
I would like to know this as well!
This one is from CBD Dog Health!
So it looks like you’re feeding kibble is that what you feed and what type of kibble
Our dogs get “kibble” every once in awhile (they usually eat gently cooked and raw food) and we usually use Carna4 ☺️
