I can't find a way to configure my controller when I try to play Fist of the north star in the Flycast emulator.
I can't find any of the options mentioned.
I have tried pressing F5 and even pressed random keyboard keys, but nothing happens.
this is so cool I can actually play against other ppl in marvel now...are the roms being played on here from sega saturn, Dc or what console? can you tell?
Arcade roms, (Mame and final burn roms) along with DC roms as well.

tons of players have that issue; and it seems the developers have no clue what to do. i guess abandon the project is the only option. issue is around since at least 3 years.

how do you setup a ps4 controller to work with fightcade?
Hey, what you wanna do is plug the controller or use it Bluetooth, then open up fightCade. Pick the game you want to configure it to and on the top right of fightcade you will see "test game", click that. a new window should pop up and you will see sub menus on the top bar. Find "input" then go to "Map game inputs" and from there you will double click the input to change the button assignment. you will have to do this for every different game you play. i also recommend saving the preset. Hope this helped.
do i have to have the rom to test play??
yes, it needs to be in your rom directory.
Where would I place the roms? I have them next to the FBNEO, Snes Roms, etc. But it still can't find it.
you need to put the roms inside the fbneo folder

does it show more than 1 window of the emulator show up when you launch?
anyone having issues where the emulator takes a solid minute to start up? If so, how do I go about resolving it? I have a High End PC, don't see why it takes so long?

Hey, im not sure what the issue may be. Do check out their discord server where there are people who can help with technical issues likes this.
I added the fightcade roms from a popular archive *wink* but it's still giving the notification that the roms aren't there.
Go to the "archive", search for Fightcade Team. You will find what you need. You will see the fightcade logo. They have the goods.

What i would do is erase the config .ini, go to the folder its installed on. FightCade 2\emulator\fbneo\config and erase fcadefbneo .ini, a new file will be created when you relaunch the game. Let me know if that worked for you.
im just having a issue of making some of my games work, cause example this pops up in most of my games 2:35 👈😐

Do you by any chance know how to change your profile picture?
Clock on the cog wheel in the main menu (lower left side) and when you get to settings click on the icon of the profile picture. you will need to use gravatar to update it.
Wait how do u get all those files for fightcade?
there are certain archive *hint hint* websites on the net you can get them from if you search for them with fighcade in the searchbar.

how do I set up my controller I can’t find how to anywhere
launch "test game", when the game window shows up hit F5 on your keyboard. It should take you to the config screen.

Im not sure what could be causing that. I would recommend trying to download it again from the website. If the issue persist it will be up to you if you want to continue to install it. It may be a false positive. I did not receive a notice of this from my av.
