- An anime and lofi inspired looping fight sequence.
Wanted to try out something new that didn't take months to schedule, prep, shoot and edit. With looping fights, I can practice my camera and action direction more often as it only takes a day to shoot. Much easier on everyones schedules and it allows me to upload content a "bit" more constantly in between bigger projects. Hope you all like the vibes.

I’ve never seen someone capture anime in live action as brilliantly as you. The camera angles, impacts from hits/punches, dust, etc. is all great

Looks better than a movie tbh. A movie would use too much CGI, when it's apparent here that it looks so much better using grounded techniques.

Sound design directly integrated with background soundtrack is an instant win for me. You're still the closest person I've seen to a real-life anime-cinematography style. Ground-level shots and shots that don't just follow but amplify the action in the scene are beautiful even without plot or context. It's just a dance between the stuntmen and the cameraman. Love this channel and can't wait to see more!

As usual, I'm in love with the way the camera lets us fly around and through the scene, but still keeps the fight in focus. You can feel every impact, and all the movements have weight and flow that looks so realistic! Thanks for making this for us!
This is really cool, I love how it captures the feeling of an anime fight, while also remaining at least somewhat within suspension of disbelief!

Who else watched the full loop to see if the music would stay synced up throughout? 😏
It would be cool if they were wearing the same cloths, except one had a blue shirt and one had a red shirt, and then on the second loop you edited it to color swap their shirts, then copied the two clips together several times.
It would run the same but it would look like different ones were getting in kicks or blocks in the same looping fight.
That's actually a pretty dope idea...
The fact that Hollywood doesn’t invest in unique styles like this is mind boggling. I guess we’re just gonna have to stick with the excessive Jason Bourne cutaways or John wick judo wrestling.

It just for me, that this fight reminds of Izanami :D (from Naruto, Itachi vs Kabuto)
After watching 80% of this video I realised that it was a loop.... It was that captivating...

The camera angles and POVs are so well done. They scream anime fight. This is beyond badass. I’d love to see a light saber duel one day incorporate this style.

man, this is sooo good. Comic books have this trope that we’ve rarely seen translated to film where the hero tackles the villain into the portal and they’re locked in eternal combat. Most films/shows like WhatIf just choose not even try to represent an eternal fight, they just have them come back through the portal when they’re freed, but I think this absolutely nails how to do that.

GODDDD I love every single video, I wish netflix gave you the rights to a live action spin off of pretty much any shonen anime. I loved the MHLA live action but I think if you had the rights and something was in the works you probably would have made some noise about it, so I'll just keep that in the back of my head for now. How much auto focus are you using in your shots? It seems it would be real hard to manually focus with all that movement. I mean your a pro so you can im sure I'm just trying to learn because I love those shots. They're so smooth.

I saw Vergil kicking the crap out of Dante’s head and then saw something wonderful, when they clashed swords the camera angle captured dust and… I just cannot believe how good these video’s are.

It took me a bit to realize when the loop had already started, since it was so clean and I was more focused on the camera work at some moments. Looks like I'd take a moment to break out of BITE ZA DUSTO or a genjutsu.
