Listen, it's easy enough to make 10 or so minute of a fight scene but a fully planned out 1-2 hour live action with a plot? Not so much. Even the dialogue was cringey at times. I loved the scene and all but I have a doubt regarding the quirk.....if he can teleport to anywhere the chain is,was he born with the chain or something
@@nouserheresorry-9699 Nah. Go back to 9:16. It says that he can teleport to his keychain or anything the keychain is attached to. And he attached it to his bag because it's larger and easier to pinpoint. Like a "lightning and lightning rod" scenario. The bigger the lightning rod, the easier it is to attract lightning.
Maybe there is space for his quirk to evolve as in become a teleporting quirk without any object specific condition tied to it. His mom gave him the keychain and the emotional connection he has for the object explains why he can only teleport wherever the keychain is. But what happens when he learns to let go? Will he grow and reach new levels as an aspiring hero or devolve into a quirk less being.
@@shakur6058 yeah in my opinion the idea of a quirk bond to an object is really interesting. It would be really cool if like his keychain would be destroyed by an antagonist and he would be 'forced' to rethink the way he uses his quirk and to accept his past.
This is still the best live-action adaptation of any anime till date. Came back ro rewatch and I'm still awed by how good it is. I hope you guys get the funding and approval to make a full series of this. Heiki and his quirk, Cache, is the MVP of this for me. Love his characterization and how smooth he uses his quirk
I need more of this. When it originally dropped I spoke about it at every oppurtunity and it even spawned an episode of fan adapatations that we spoke about on my podcast. This is top tier in every category and deserves so much more love. ❤🙌🏾

I loved it i havent seen a fight scene that looks this good in a while. It was extremely awesome and you guys should actually make a fighting movie. This was amazing to watch
Did I miss the crowfunding for a full season of this adaptation? Need to be done if you won't before! The real good thing always comes from your kind of creator.
I gotta comment again. Whoever made this GETS IT. This is everything My Hero Academia represents. Because each super power has a limit, that can be expanded on with gear and training. To the brilliant crew involved, I can see you get it. Keep it up
Usually I’m not into anime live action adaptation but this one is really good. The editing, choreography, sound effect are sick and the acting is good enough
It would, but I don't think high quality fan content like this needs direct validation by the creator to be considered "canon." It's totally separate from the main story (and therefore doesn't impede it), it expands the world, creates interesting characters, and it resonates with the core themes of the main MHA story. Any fan-made material accomplishes these things without hindering "official" material should absolutely be considering "canon", in my humble opinion.
“Nobody is coming, nobody can see you... yeah, i know the feeling” I can already his backstory just from that daaaaamn. Really well made and yes i did rewatch the first 2 parts again and again waiting for this :) was not disappointed
Yea I'd imagine when his quirk manifested he didn't know what it was or how to control it. So he was hidden from his family or something despite being right there
Hits harder when you rewatch the Opening Song, and see him using his quirk to show a kid looking sad and alone. Just like Backtrack did. But that was one of my favorite moments, like "Whoa... That's... Whoa"
I was watching Paper Tigers on Netflix and was just puzzled over where I'd seen one of the young versions of one of their main characters. That was surprisingly really freaking good!! Most fan-made stuff tends to be cheezy and mischaracterizes everyone, but this one is spot on in the spirit of MHA!! I love it!! 😀
That could be difficult because it's also a period piece with cgi sets, costumes, an shit ton of vfx, but will still be better than almost all live action thats come before it. And are the people making Netflix live action Avatar not trustworthy?
@@cierasanshelle2642 It's confirmed. However, they are working closely with the Avatar creators. Not to mention, Nickelodeon and Netflix just had a contract to make exclusives.
So as a fellow writer: the most impressive thing here’s that they DON’T copy and paste the original storyline. They build on it. They honestly improve it. They make it better. More human. I love this stuff. PLEASE MAKE THIS LEGENDARY. (The studio that owns the rights to MHA)

He said, “Get to school, study hard and reach your goal on becoming a pro hero. Because that’s when I’ll take it all from you.” And that was the best threat ever made.
Mann if I was wealthy I would bankroll the fuck out of a full series for this. There's already so much development that went into building the story of this hero and the villians when this could have simply been "cool fighters doing cool fights, something something My Hero Academia." Nah, this is a well thought put, well scripted, beautifully acted, choreographed and edited work of art. Fantastic job to everybody involved.
Cache is unironically one of my favourite powers ive seen in media generally, its so simple and intuitive while also being extremely interesting to watch. Mainly from the coordination and performance from the directors and actors making it so like incredible job. I also love the flavour text that Heiki loves museums.
I like to think that he loves museums because he loves looking at historical weapons and learning the history behind every weapon he uses. Like you could ask him about the origins of nunchucks and he could go on forever about it.
and now imagine wirh a lot of study and reaserch and maybe even his awakening he can make like realistic fantasy/scyfi weapons like a proto lignt sabre (the one from hacksmith) or a chainsaw sword or even the dragon slayer made by shadiversity,
You have cleverly written and directed quirks that can be shown with minimal CG. I would love to see you make another BNHA fight scene with another set of interesting quirks.
I love the depth we get from Backtrack's quirk just by watching like a minute long flashback. First of all, it seems like his quirk is a sort of variation of his mom's quirk. I'm guessing she could teleport any objects she chose to any given location within a certain range. Whereas Bactrack does the opposite and teleports himself to an object. But that's the obvious stuff. I find the potential of his quirk to be more interesting. Teleporting to his keychain is already a broken enough ability, but I doubt it's actually limited to that. He's currently limited to the keychain because it has the most sentimental value to him, and he unlocked his quirk for the first time when that sentiment was being threatened. At some point I can see him unlocking the ability to teleport to multiple things of personal value to him, or hell, maybe just any object in his surroundings. This is all just a crackpot theory based on the minimal evidence given in the video, but that's the fun of these sorts of things.
@@DrLigma1010 minato is the goat, but also no? minato has to mark stuff to teleport to it. his kunai are already marked, but he can also put a seal mark on you that stays forever, and that's how he teleports. from mark to mark
@@lalaldka no, I meant to say, if he can teleport to anything like his keychain then he can imitate minato, like every kunai he can teleport to as it is marked, but pinpoint doesn't need a mark just sentimental value as the comments theories, so if he has more then one like a necklace or something he can be like minato
If sentimental value is his "mark" on things he can teleport to, what does that say for people? Can you imagine the stakes if a loved one was being held hostage? THERE'S SO MUCH MORE STORY TO THIS, IT'S INSANE!
Too true. They never even attempt to find someone who actually cares about the anime they're adapting, or anime in general. They just find the closest director/writers/actors they can find, and push them together with a vague paragraph(if that) detailing what the Anime is like.
Once production companies are involved you expect so much. Since is fan made you didn't expect much and got a lot. The pilot is good but the story is cringe lol If a big company made it you would probably be like "wow all that money and they give us this shit"

I loved the scene and all but I have a doubt regarding the quirk.....if he can teleport to anywhere the chain is,was he born with the chain or something
He should attach his keychain to a kunai and go full minato.
Yep
Maybe more to come, just deku uses his feet lol
He can do it with anything other than his keychain but he uses it because its smaller, using less energy and special
Nah. Kunai would be too small. Larger objects take less energy to pinpoint, that's why he put it on his backpack.
His quirk is like a lamer version of minatos ability, and yet somehow you made it seem so cool
It would be better if he attached his keychain unto a weapon like minato has his mark on special kunai. The bag is a bit much
Maybe there is space for his quirk to evolve as in become a teleporting quirk without any object specific condition tied to it. His mom gave him the keychain and the emotional connection he has for the object explains why he can only teleport wherever the keychain is. But what happens when he learns to let go? Will he grow and reach new levels as an aspiring hero or devolve into a quirk less being.
@@shakur6058
yeah in my opinion the idea of a quirk bond to an object is really interesting. It would be really cool if like his keychain would be destroyed by an antagonist and he would be 'forced' to rethink the way he uses his quirk and to accept his past.
@@monicaaryee-quayeyevu921 He's gotta have development bro. If this were a story you would want him to start weak. Then do cool stuff like that.
@@monicaaryee-quayeyevu921 have you seen the vid? It says the larger the object the less energy he consumes

Jesus Christ this is better than a lot of live actions I've seen
This is still the best live-action adaptation of any anime till date. Came back ro rewatch and I'm still awed by how good it is. I hope you guys get the funding and approval to make a full series of this.
Heiki and his quirk, Cache, is the MVP of this for me. Love his characterization and how smooth he uses his quirk
I need more of this. When it originally dropped I spoke about it at every oppurtunity and it even spawned an episode of fan adapatations that we spoke about on my podcast. This is top tier in every category and deserves so much more love. ❤🙌🏾
The fact that you turned this cartoon into reality and made me feel like i was actually in the cartoon universe still speaks in volume. I loved it i havent seen a fight scene that looks this good in a while. It was extremely awesome and you guys should actually make a fighting movie. This was amazing to watch

For real, tho.

I gotta comment again. Whoever made this GETS IT. This is everything My Hero Academia represents. Because each super power has a limit, that can be expanded on with gear and training.
To the brilliant crew involved, I can see you get it. Keep it up
The guy who owns this RUclips channel made it.
Watched this again today and I'm still impressed! Sooo fuckn good. Gj, Chris.
Usually I’m not into anime live action adaptation but this one is really good.
The editing, choreography, sound effect are sick and the acting is good enough
I would like Horikoshi to see this and to show us these heroes in the manga/anime
It wouldn't be possible but maybe a reference to either the UALA, their quirks, or their names
i think they know, because they need to purchase the copyright song.
This is cool but I really hope that doesn't happen.
A little cameo and Easter egg would be nice instead of placing them entirely into it.
I still can't get over how well the quirks come across, they portray the super hero/villain level of comic book style power without seeming dumb.
“Nobody is coming, nobody can see you... yeah, i know the feeling”
I can already his backstory just from that daaaaamn.
That's... Whoa"
Awesome work!! I enjoyed every aspect of this pilot. Keep up the great work.

I JUST caught this and I'm in awe with how far you guys have all come. I somehow got unsubbed at some point, but I used to follow you back before the Clandestine days. Amazing job. You should continue this as a mini series, it will be awesome!!
That was surprisingly really freaking good!! Most fan-made stuff tends to be cheezy and mischaracterizes everyone, but this one is spot on in the spirit of MHA!! I love it!! 😀
Netflix should hire these guys to make the live action series of Avatar The Last Airbender
That could be difficult because it's also a period piece with cgi sets, costumes, an shit ton of vfx, but will still be better than almost all live action thats come before it. And are the people making Netflix live action Avatar not trustworthy?

It's confirmed.

Man, when is this coming back….
Can we create a go fund me account to support the creation of these series?
I'd bank roll this and audition for a character
Cache is unironically one of my favourite powers ive seen in media generally, its so simple and intuitive while also being extremely interesting to watch. Mainly from the coordination and performance from the directors and actors making it so like incredible job. I also love the flavour text that Heiki loves museums.
I like to think that he loves museums because he loves looking at historical weapons and learning the history behind every weapon he uses. Like you could ask him about the origins of nunchucks and he could go on forever about it.
@@ReblazeGaming A great fighter and a history nerd, love it

If this is canon, he'll be basically minato
@@DrLigma1010 minato is the goat, but also no? minato has to mark stuff to teleport to it. his kunai are already marked, but he can also put a seal mark on you that stays forever, and that's how he teleports. from mark to mark
@@lalaldka no, I meant to say, if he can teleport to anything like his keychain then he can imitate minato, like every kunai he can teleport to as it is marked, but pinpoint doesn't need a mark just sentimental value as the comments theories, so if he has more then one like a necklace or something he can be like minato
@@DrLigma1010 oh fair
If sentimental value is his "mark" on things he can teleport to, what does that say for people? Can you imagine the stakes if a loved one was being held hostage?
THERE'S SO MUCH MORE STORY TO THIS, IT'S INSANE!
Production companies with millions in budget: it’s hard to capture and recreate an anime adaptation that doesn’t suck
Rivenx3i: hold my beer!
Nice joke ahaha
The difference is money vs passion...you can always tell which one won
Well that's how industries evolve. Cool extreme concepts get made, then elements get used in mainstream. Same with fashion and cars etc
They better hire this team and give them full creative control if there's ever talk of live action MHA movie

Hey what's up everyone!
Just wanted to give you all an update with all of the UA:LA questions coming in. We're still actively trying to pitch the idea to the powers that be. We have an entire first season outlined with a ton of new classmates, teachers and villains that we hope to one day bring to you all. Unfortunately, we can't just continue the series ourselves because it would take too much time, effort & money (sadly, we all have to work haha).
After finishing the UA pilot during the summer in LA, I had to head off to work in Sydney beginning last November (though I can't legally say for which movie). I'll be out here until around mid May -- But I'm planning on doing a short fight scene (for fun over a weekend or two) while I'm out here with a few of the talented martial arts performers that I've been fortunate enough to meet and work with on this job.
Anyways, keep your fingers crossed for us and I'll keep you updated if any good news comes about!
