I live in Coventry and was sorry to see your vlog on Leamington Spa and how run down it looked. Perhaps the weather and time of the year you visited gave it a bad impression. We're currently in Cirencester for 8 nights, love the town nice people, we been to Leamington spa about 18 months ago thought it was mice back then, but wow that weather spoons was 🤮 disgusting 🫣 wonder what the kitchens are like NO THANK YOU I'd rather cook in my van, nice to see you back home guys, oh Chicco was so funny with his new Dori toy so cute😊 xx

The first elephant trainer in England was Sam Lockhart, a member of the famous Lockhart circus family. For much of his life he was based in Leamington, and when he acquired three elephants from Ceylon he kept them with him in the town as well as touring them around the country.

We have been in that area ourselves in the past, only called at a retail park outside royal Leamington Spa, the place itself doesn't look that great, Stratford looks much nicer.
Pity about the spoons as we like them ourselves,
Anyway you made the best of it and enjoy.
Looks like Chico loved his new toy.

I live in Leamington and you were spot on with your review, although I wouldn't go to the bottom end of the town unless I was desperate. Spoons has been like that for almost 30yrs so I doubt it will change anytime soon. Pitty you didn't see the real regency building where TV programmes have been filmed from. The bear symbols in Warwick is due to the Warwickshire Crest. It was the last place in England that had black bears.
yes it’s such a shame as there is loads of potential there good to have a local agree with us and yes would of loved to see the nice regency buildings mark
We went to Wetherspoons in bingley, yorkshire recently - had fish and chips. My fish came broken in 4 pieces and was told if it was a problem when I said it didn’t look very good!

Elephants in Royal Leamington Spa

Meriden is a small historic village in the West Midlands, England. It is situated about half way between Birmingham and Coventry. It is said to be the centre of England, but the name of this village actually means "Merry Vale".

My mum used to make two big Yorkshire puds when we had roast beef one to go with dinner and the other with jam for pudding. I still have jam on me yorkshires. Love it. And I’m a southerner.

My theory is, it’s dirty what’s it like behind scenes😮 Great to see the Caravan & camping show, it’s a bit far from us but will make a point another time to go there for a weekend & you had fabulous weather.

Hi folks. The park with the old tree looked lovely. Shame about weatherspoons. The staff don't take pride in their workplace. Mark, I got quite nervous when you went to the edge of the water with it being so slippy. Chico looked so cute wgen he got excited about his new toy. Great vlog x

Chico is so cute not liking the rain bless him and Lemmington spa is not nice we when to the pub is not nice at all I think the same plates were they when we went 2 weeks ago lol and the toilets are really bad . My dad use to say if the toilets are clean the food would be good.

How appropriate the elephant tusk lookalike; tree branch ,exactly in the right vicinity of where the elephants use to go 😁 well spotted,and yes very shocked actually about wetherspoons :-/ and Leamington spa town,but the gardens and water fountain looked nice😀

Go to Tewkesbury Weatherspoons its lovely. Ask if you can go upstairs in the hotel to see the medieval part. Leamington Spa does not have the benefit of Shakespeare having lived there, thats why it isnt so well to do.

Apparently the 1st elephant trainer lived in RLS with his 3 elephants - toured around the country with them too! Random or what! Looks a very run down place & Spoons ugh. Hope you are enjoying UK weather 😮

Be careful when buying toys for dogs in charity shops there’s a big difference between children’s toys and dog toys proper dog toys always have eyes sewn in but children’s toys have plastic or glass eyes held in by wire etc

Hi there, sorry you had a bad time in Leamington spa. I live just down the road in Coventry I visit Leamington quite regularly. You are right is not the place it used to be, or should be the council like many other councils. Have not got their act together and letting the place fall apart with the letter people sleeping openly on the streets it has really gone down.. and as far as that Wetherspoons establishment is concerned, I certainly would not go in there very rough clientele you should’ve come to Coventry I could’ve shown you a real nice time if you’re ever in Coventry just let me know I would be more than happy to spend a few hours and show you a nice place. Anyway thanks for your videos only just got into them over the last few weeks. I am really enjoying them. All the best take care 👍😊👍
Hi Lisa, just watched your last vlog Leamington Spa and agree what a dive like you somewhere not to be visited again. When are you in Melton or have you already been???? Tell Mark not to stopover in Kings Head car park as can be rough at night with druggies, not a nice place. Also tell him not to use Happy House as very expensive USE No.1 best Chinese in Melton.
